MS making the wrong decision here imo. I suppose their strategy really is gamepass and subs because even a die-hard xbox fan who has an X1X would be hard pressed to upgrade. I know I felt burned by Xbox this gen on the exclusive front- but for the next 2 years i wont have to worry about if they make a good one. I can play it on my launch xbox1 lol. I doubt i will though. Once Sony shows games that arent held back by 8 year old tech it is going to be obvious. I mean Sony said games they showed just arent possibly on ps4- that tells me Xbox games are handcuffed from a design standpoint. So it'll look prettier and have better fps and draw distances with less texture pop in etc. It'll still be an Xbox1 game with bells and whistles.

With the rumors that all current Xboxs are being discontinued it's kind of misleading. You can play next gen games on your current gen console if you already own it. How many Xbox1 owners felt burned by their console this gen? I know i did. Especially on their 1st party offerings. Basically Xbox has to kill it on games this gen and even if they do i dont have to buy their new console. Seems divisive to me

The pricing is fine. Compared to cinema games are a steal. An experience like TLoU2 for 60 bucks? 25-30 hours of epic opposed to a 3 hour film that is 30 bucks on bluray. I will glady pay then extra 10

This happened to streaming content providers a few years back. If it goes crazy in the gaming world expect some news IPs (maybe blatant rip offs though) from both sides to compensate...hell it might end up a good thing. Will force each side to compensate for what they lost through a sale

@playstation1995. Pretty sure when housemarque debuted their ps5 at the reveal event it said Sony Studios right before the trailer. I think they have or are already in the process with them

So, to me, it looks like they essentially did very little to the 07 release. In some instances lighting and AA seem worse. I was never worried about this to begin with but i have to wonder exactly what was "remastered" lol

Damn Wendy. I saw this a couple days ago and just laughed. The level of entitlement is beyond absurd. I havent finished but can already tell you i dont think i will like it overall as much as one and the story it told...that being said ive ran the entire gamut of emotions from happy to pissed to sad to almost annoyed. That in and of itself is pretty impressive. It has managed to have scenes that genuinely make me smile as well. So you dont like someones story. THEIR story to tell however THEY want.

I can see Bloodborne remaster irking some. With all the forward/backward compatibility talk. Not because i care one bit (if the effort justifies the cost then remaster away) but id think a 4k/60 patch for ps5 of the pre-existing game would show some serious goodwill.

I really enjoyed the game. If Kurt had a clue they would have made 1 or 2 more by now. It sold over a million copies which would of been great for a new IP (especially RPG) if he didnt essentially embezzle 300 million dollars lol.

I hummed something back in '87. That was also a cover. Pay me!! Lol.

MK11 is super polished and fun. But fighting games in general are the worst offenders for price gouging and dlc. I remember reading the new DoA is over 400 dollars if you add it all up. MK11 is at about 130 including this which is crazy to me. The argument is games are still 59.99. True. But in some instances incredibly fragmented. I would imagine though that part of this DLC price involves licensing costs

Im in a bit of a rut right now. I knew FF7R was going to do that but still- here i am. Been running some Tecmo Super Bowl and Mega Man on the good ol NES. Adding a bit of Valkyria Chronicles Remaster in. Still a super charming game i just cant get hooked again for the reason above i guess😐

Im glad, based on the poll, my fellow gamers have some sense. I sometimes wonder if Xbox even cares to sell an XsX. I have a funny feeling that when Sony announces HZD2 or Spidey 2 as a PS5 exclusive ready for launch the sales numbers will be obnoxious. And Xbox will lag far behind again.

@SegaBlueSky some rumors are swirling on the web that the reason everyone thinks Demon Souls remake is because Bluepoint wants tough combat in there Legacy of Kain remake. Being an SE IP and their good relationship with Sony i thought It didnt sound entirely unreasonable

@oldschool1987 with 1 less gen and a fraction of games. Go look at how many ps1 and ps2 games there are versus og xbox. Hell take every xbox gen and i bet ps1 and 2s library is damn near as much if not much more. Then add ps3 (which sony made a mistake on in some aspects in hindsight. I only say in hindsight because im sure they didnt know to what extent the internet would cry about BC) and you have a library that is well beyond the scope of Xbox BC.

It is really that big of a deal? I visit a handful of my absolute favorites but that's it. I honestly wouldnt care if none were. I want a ps5 to play ps5 games. Anything extra is a bonus imo. I dont hear anyone talking about how non of their wii u purchases moved on to switch. DK Tropical Freeze, MK8...a ton of games were ported at full price. Games are selling like hotcakes

@Menchi i said Alyx is awesome? Read much? But when practically no one had a rig to play the game at all your point is moot. Lol. This game has the potential to reach 6 million people unlike Alyx and runs incredibly well on very old and outdated tech. Why so butthurt? Comparing Alyx to Ironman VR doesnt even make sense

@Menchi lol no. Funny how the least powered VR has created the best games by far. Alyx is awesome no doubt. But it was made for .1% of gamers. Less than 5% of steam accounts have the hardware to run it.
