@Daleaf Yeah, In the Club section It was pretty easy to move forward until I met that guy who jumps in & out of the bushes. Almost died at the spot (I got him in my sixties ) The thing is, moves will be unlocked as you play through the campaign ... I chose the girl to start with because I haven't seen much of the female character in reviews. Oh, and 40 minutes? I think the one who managed to do that has played already for many hours. I share the same sentiment Michu2951 has about the arcade thing. It's not the same game type but back in the day I spend hours playing Kung Fu Master in the arcades
@ShogunRok Fully agree with that. Wanted SD2 so bad because of the deep combat movement but maybe it didn't sell enough copies? You need to use a lot buttons too so maybe it's not so casual & more niche, like Sifu? I like the Sifu experience but I'm very curious about the sales by the end of the year.
@ShogunRok glowing red limbs + red circle can't be blocked or deflected, yellow glowing limbs can be blocked but still at the start of the game. Reminds me of that Jet Li game & Sleeping Dogs. And, not a full priced game so I gave it a go and so far the atmosphere/music is good too.
What a passionately made carpg & those details are sick ... As excited as when I bought a PSX with GT in 1997. He tried it with bikes (Tourist Trophy) but it never became a thing. I would like to know how many people & for how long they worked on this game because this is more than incredible. Even non-race gaming fans will triy this out, and I totally get it!
Very experienced studio in MP & Live service games. Sony is mostly king in SP & MS in MP imo. And this isn't an answer to ActBliz because this takes a lot of negotiation and Bungie was looking for a buyer/sponsor. As long it's Sony, MS or Nintendo who's buying instead of Embracer, Tencent, Facebook/Meta, Amazon,...
Looking forward to this since it's stepping away from GT Online only & going back to the OG GT games. Played since the beginning but stopped after GT5. Already pre-ordered but like to dive in again after al those years. Can't believe it's been +10 years already. This franchise was the reason I bought a PSX in the first place.
Yes, have the OG games & with the LG CX I wanted to experience that 120 FPS. Only thing is that my Lost Legacy save does not carry over? Would have been easier to see what treasures I missed.
Edit: after playing the game I could transfer the save...
Liked the first look and the little gameplay. The invisible walls are a nitpick. Butte future looks good indeed! In Free roam I was able to roll a car, which looked awesome.
At least they are doing what many gamers wanted (combine the two). But tbh, day one is an important one for me. I usually buy the exclusives, but not always day one because of Sony’s pricing. Game Pass is a blast. Not buying less games but tried many others. MS is not making the big bucks for now but GP bad for devs? Why are they putting their game on GP? Not making any money must be great 🤦
Best were the first 2 imo, got the third one too because back then I was going for a SE with figurine. But 3 was the last one I bought. Played Black Flag (and some Vita ones) which was ok but gave up on Ubisoft, once one of my favo devs. Games look all the same now imo (same for Far Cry). Maybe, when FC6 has a huge promo, I will get that one, because friends seem to have fun with it (also an important factor). I think they should skip the Ubi sauce and reboot every single franchise imo. I want a new Splinter Cell game but not under this climate ...
@rastamadeus Ahead of its time, I mean, they used OLED back in the day (not the same OLED as it is now but still).
I'm the same. Using older handhelds, even Game Boy with Tetris & PSP mostly for playing PES5. Revisited Metroid Fusion on DS & sometimes using my GB SP to play Pokemon Pinball and I don't even like Pokemon, but it's a good game imo. A friend of mine had a Game Gear, man, the thing chewed batteries like no other Steam Deck? Well maybe it can ...
Still don’t understand why they threw in the towel so fast. Maybe because they were ahead of time with this handheld? So much potential looking back and seeing the success of the Switch (even with the hybrid appeal)
I still consider Tetris on my GB a 10 because I can play that game anytime I want to. Between other games, as short sidetrack when not busy for 10 minutes, … simple and perfect replayable gameplay. Now I love it even more with Connected because they changed it up with music & graphics…
Dirt 5 is fun but I do miss the rewind button (you or other cars landing on the roof can hamper gameplay sometimes) And like most, I want Sony to bring the Motorstorm series back
Yeah pop in is a bit annoying but I can live with it. I stuck with it and was glad I did. Always short sessions because steering can be intense at times. Love the art too!
VRR + Quick Resume feature + a decent cross-gen save system (and without needing PS Plus) + is there a correct timer how many hours you spend in a game? Or does is still counts when pausing a game?
@get2sammyb
Didn't Rise of the Tomb Raider was a timed exclusive (1 year) on Xbox 360? They paid & 100 million $ for it, allegedly.
To me it's relevant. More so, I would like to know what Sony has paid for timed exclusives like Deathloop & Ghost Wire Tokyo? It's interessting to know how important & how much a company is willing to spend for keeping away a game on another platform.
@JB_Whiting It's personal ofcourse but at the end of completing a game there's an overall feeling you get. I kinda missed it with GoT PS5 upgrade + DLC (and I loved the PS4 game on release)
@Logonogo That seems solid enough. So strange for the late review codes even for an independent dev. I mean they are an animation studio and that level of finish looks awesome so it would look confident to have reviews out before release.
Waiting for gameplay opinions, the rest is top notch. Although I have a feeling it could be a very short experience. This will determine if I will wait for a discount (bought a lot of games this year already) or not.
@Nightcrawler71 Same, but I did play Spider-Man on PS4. I think Spider-Man 2 will be impressive though since they have lots of experience with the franchise. And Wolverine ... too far away but looking forward to that one. I'm going to call my PS5, my Insomniac 1
I was a Ninty fan before I saw the first GT on PSX. I even bought Japanese mags for the pictures back in the day, before ending buying that PSX, just to be able to play GT. The second game had 2 discs and one disc had a special rubber smell on it Let's hope for no further delays Polyphony is known for.
@Widey85 I'm sure they will nail it, like with Spider-Man. Don't know about open world for this one but who knows. If they pull this off they need to make a Superman game (don't know if the DC universe is a problem). Rocksteady is also a good candidate for a Superman game (there are rumors but WB rejected the first pitch I heard) It's difficult to make because he's too powerful. I hope to see this one day. Have bad memories of Superman 64 But we don't know how long Wolverine is in development. Sony approved it already so some work must be done in the early stages. 2023/2024?
@pushL7 Probably only the free dlc otherwise people will never pay for a future Amplified Edition, seasons or Ultimate Edition again. Well, I wouldn’t … But I’m certain you could get it for a small price. Dirt 5 is good game imo
@naruball well, that's what's wrong with it. I like Suckerpunch and the game a lot. There are good vibes between players and devs, it's like Sony wants to ruin that vibe imho
"we see fans around the world are enjoying playing our game, and sometimes I feel like I have to knock myself on the head and ask if this is real. It's fantastic, and we're so appreciative of all the support. It was just so amazing that this could happen in 2020."
But let us charge those loyal fans an extra 10-nner to be able to use their PS5 features.
There's a little banner on the right in the Apple TV+ app on PS5. Also needs a working CC. I implemented it on PC via Icloud. + the app gets an update on PS5. Hope this helps! Also reboot your PS5!
@FatalBubbles Lol. I'm in the 2nd act of Bloodroots and sometimes I think, this is impossible, but I carry on, and it becomes possible because you're getting the mecanics and patterns. There's a learning curve but once you start mastering it, it's starting to be more fun. I do hope it clicks for/with you after a while because collecting dust on games you bought is not a good thing
@FatalBubbles Haven't started it up yet (installed it) but I loved previous Housemarque games, Nex Machina, Super Stardust series, Geometry Wars series & Resogun.
