Re: Review: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4)

SPGFan34

@get2sammyb I finally brought the collection today, i noticed it was £24.00 on Amazon and so i decided toorder it. I'm hoping i will really like them.
It is now sitting on my shelf, waiting for the summer holidays next month.

Re: E3 2016: Jeepers! Spider-Man PS4's Trailer Was Gameplay

SPGFan34

I think it will be good depending on how much time and effort they put in. Like, if they rush the game out to tie in with the new film next July, then it won't be very good, but, if they put a lot of work into the game to give it a later September 2017/October 2017 release then it will be good, as it has the potential to be as successful as the Arkham games.

Re: Live: Watch Mafia III's PS4 Gameplay Reveal Right Here

SPGFan34

@JoeBlogs Yeah, it is definately a good game, even though it has a few shortcomings. I guess one thing, regarding the new one's success, is that it will shine with the absence of an Assassin's Creed game and the delay of the new Mass Effect game as the main open world experience this Christmas. It's good because i'm not particularly interested in shooting games and so it makes for a good alternative for COD Infinite Warfare, Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 for me (even though TF2 looks good)

Re: Live: Watch Mafia III's PS4 Gameplay Reveal Right Here

SPGFan34

@JoeBlogs Yeah, that's a fair point and there's not a lot to spend money on either, but I bought the Xbox 360 classics edition where you get all the dlc as well, when adding that with the playboy magazines and I think some other magazine, it must have lasted me upwards of 200+ hours, I always used the speed limiter when driving as well because I liked it.
I wonder how this one will sell as Mafia's always been kind of a niche' series really.

Re: E3 2016: Titanfall 2's PS4 Vanguard Edition Costs $250

SPGFan34

@BAMozzy yeah, I'm not really interested in COD IW because i always think it's for people with no brain cells, and I'm not really into these multiplayer-focused kind of games, but I'm willing to give Titanfall 2 a try as it's the first one of the series on ps4.

I'm ultra hyped about Mafia 3 (Sequel to what I always name the best game of all time) as well as Watch Dogs 2 in November.

It will be interesting to see which turns out to be the better game of the two as they both have GTA similarities. It's kind of like the best game of last gen and one of the last I bought last gen vs. My first ps4 game and the first game of a new gen for me.

I also like the look of Dishonored 2, but like TF2, I don't know if or when I will buy it rye to the same reasons as TF2.

Re: E3 2016: Titanfall 2 Drops a Bot on PS4 from 28th October

SPGFan34

Hmmmm.... Maybe? I'm not really into multiplayer games, and the truth is i don't get to buy many games each year and i already have a fully packed schedule (I long term plan all of my purchases) This was a good trailer though, i liked the action and the visuals look excellent.

Re: E3 2016: Get a Look at Dishonored 2 Ahead of Bethesda's Presser

SPGFan34

@get2sammyb Nice, might pick it up, but I've already kind of decided which two games I want for Christmas.

@Quintumply Nice, I was considering getting Dishonored: Definitive Edition when it was first revealed. Might get this, it's a busy time for me though with both Mafia 3 and Watch Dogs 2 coming out at the time.

Re: Review: Mirror's Edge Catalyst (PS4)

SPGFan34

@AlexStinton okay thank you, I really want this, but as I've heard generally negative reviews towards it, particularly the story which I'm most bothered about, I think I will wait until it's in a PSN sale or discounted.

Re: Watch Dogs 2's PS4 Reveal Trailer Hacks the Planet

SPGFan34

HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Looks very refreshing, but i hope it is still Watch Dogs because i really enjoyed the first game.

Does anyone know if the minigames are returning? Like Psychedelic or Spider Tank?

Do you still have the ability to drive? Will music be returning? Will you still have the smartphone app interface?

So many burning questions...

Its a suprise it's releasing in November to me, i thought they would set this up for next year like March or April, imo like the division... Good they're going down The Fallout 4 route of quick hype and buzz i guess. It's not even been that long ago the first one was released.

Mafia 3 and Watch Dogs 2 sniffs in one christmas???? Aaahhhh... faints

Well, i guess we'll see if it's any good come Christmas time.

Re: Here's Your First Look at Watch Dogs 2 on PS4

SPGFan34

@adf86 Haha, i know right. Watch Dogs 2 and Horizon: Zero Dawn are my two essential games for next year. But Agents Of Mayhem looks right down my street too. Only 4 months until Mafia 3 finally comes out. Mafia 2 was my favourite game of last gen, so it should at least be a decent game. HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are you looking forward to seeing at E3?

Re: Here's Your First Look at Watch Dogs 2 on PS4

SPGFan34

HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved the first Watch Dogs, it's a very underrated game as well as my first ever PS4 game (Bundle Copy), i think people expected too much though, but i'm faithful this sequel could truly deliver. It's sad to see Aidan go though......

Re: Your June PlayStation Plus Games Have Been Revealed

SPGFan34

That's actually a pretty good lineup this month, as there is a fairly recent AAA title on there, albeit it being a sports title.
Not that i will have lots of time for it this month because of exams.
I've heard Gone Home is really good, so i might get it, but i am going into it blindly as i know next to nothing about the game.

Re: Talking Point: Are Indie Devs Bringing Back the Budget Boxed Game?

SPGFan34

To me, physical games always seem more important, so my ps store or xbox store vouchers just kinda get wasted every christmas. As for indie games, im only a 17 year old teenager so i can only manage to buy about 6-7 games a year, so i don't tend to buy indie games as AAA games have always been more important to me, as i don't have the finance (or time) to play very many games.

Re: Let's Look at Gran Turismo Sport's Various PS4 Versions

SPGFan34

My initial impression of the reveal stream was that i loved the artwork and realistic graphics model, but i don't think it's going to appeal to me because it's largely an online experience, as they are trying to tap into the esport market with this, so i'd be missing out on quite a lot of content.

Re: Let's Look at Gran Turismo Sport's Various PS4 Versions

SPGFan34

Not sure if i want this or not. I enjoyed driveclub as well as the bikes expansion pack, and the recent need for speed game, but i know these are not similar. There are loads of other games coming out too, but i'm a supporter of the usual christmas exclusive.... Hmmmm...

Re: Review: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4)

SPGFan34

@VanillaLake Nah, me neither. I'm hoping to get Watch Dogs 2 and Mirror's Edge Catalyst for Christmas this year though. (As i don't have enough cash for both the new Mirror's Edge and all the Uncharted games right now)

Re: Review: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4)

SPGFan34

@VanillaLake Yes, will buy it once my exams have finished. I’m also waiting for a PS4 version of Rise Of The Tomb Raider (Sequel to tomb raider), i imagine a port will be released once the timed exclusivity to Xbox One ends. They normally last around one-two years or so.

EDIT: It will be worth the wait though because they will probably release it with a lower price point, so you could probably even just download, like a digital copy of it, for about 25 quid.

Re: You'll Feel the Need for Speed on PS4 Again in 2017

SPGFan34

I actually really enjoyed last Christmas' need for speed game. Sure it wasn't perfect, the AI had issues, lots of rubber banding and the online only format wasn't necessary or justified. However, I really enjoyed the open world gameplay, the graphics were immense, although very cringe at times, I liked how it dared to do something different with the live-action story and characters and I really liked the focus on real-life cars and the car balancing and tuning. I fell in love with Robyn too ❤️ ❤️❤️

Re: Street Fighter V Has Not Flopped As Hard As You Think

SPGFan34

Not too bad, then. I got it on day one and i have been vert disappointed by the lack of story content. Why release only like a tenth of the game? I enjoyed SSFIV due to the amazing story modes and arcade modes on the xbox 360. I was also disappointed witgh the character roster at launc too, i fell in love with Sakura on that game. That said, the actual fighting is excellent and the content on there at the minute is generally very well developed and i haven't experienced any glitches or technical issues so far. Glad to see it doing alright in terms of sales.

Re: Review: Table Top Racing: World Tour (PS4)

SPGFan34

Yeah i downloaded this for free too, and it didn't do musch for me either.

The problem is that it tries to replicate the Mariokart series but through Playstation Plus instead of through Nintendo Consoles but i would much rather play mario kart because that game is generally much more exciting and way more developed than this, wheras this game is an incredibly basic version.

It's not terrible, but it is quite dull really.
