Fortnites battle passes are alot better than all others I've experienced, apex for instance I've just got back into and there version battle pass pretty terrible imo.

Like for multiplayer games I never really get the hate for stuff like battle passes you don't have to get it, it's mostly always just cosmetics offers no advantage and you still get the game for free with all new updates maps ect, I'd actually sooner it be that way than having seperate DLC maps when player base gets split.

Why does it feel we have had theses games already.

Tbh I wish the loyalty part of it buying games, getting points was just integrated into the store and the figure collectables were a addition to platinum trophy so you could show you fav platinums ect

@riceNpea yeah I agree I do think it will be PSVR2 year I wasn't really including that when I said they don't have much to show, I do feel they will have a show for PSVR2 but will probably be state of play.

I was watching something on YouTube about the tech of PSVR2 about the eye rendering which just blew my mind it's going to be top tier headset in fact it will probably be the best headset out, come release in certain aspects.

I'll be happy to eat my words I just don't think they have much to show for 2023 and that's why I don't think they'll be a showcase this year, this time next year YES. Also they've kind of drip fed us all through the year. Imo the last 2 state of plays have been really good and if that's the standard from now on honestly don't mind.

Yeah I thought it was PlayStation only maybe PC aswell by the way it said Sony computer entertainment before the trailer. Similar to some housemarque games before Sony acquired the studio.

Is this a Sony funded game? Just the Sony entertainment at the start had me wondering. guessing it's not timed exclusive.

If people just look at what sony write they always state what to expect to be shown (PSVR, Japanese or third party ect) but without fail people just disregard that.

I think I'm the only that thinks Sony won't have showcase again useless it's new console I think state of play is the way they want to go. Yeah I think we would prefer a massive blowout of games in showcase but seems to me they like the one or few games approach.

@AdamNovice I was thinking very similar to this but few diff opinions. I think guerilla games second game although I doubt will be shown, it could easily be given a teaser it started development early 2018 with strong hiring process end of 2018 with being rumoured to be tactical online shooter with no single player suggest dev time would not be as long.

Housemarque is strange one because they had 4 games in discussion & development including returnal so I don't know if all thoses are just scraped now being they want AAA games now and not maybe AA games we had before from them.

Also think Sony London confirmed it's not working on PSVR2 it's making a new AAA PS5 game, but that would still be miles off regardless.

I know why they've done it because shipping theses consoles and making theses console has no doubt increased they're cost and probably for first time in console gaming history parts have increased in price rather than decreased. But you telling me they couldn't of just made this £30 another way? if you produce great games despite the £70 it's been seen that people will still buy them, all the controllers, monitors, headsets, psvr2 ect. Like don't divide you're user base over £30 software sales and external hardware will more than make up for it.

I was thinking about it then I read few reviews and some of thoses were mixed so I watched some streams, this is hard pass for me I think looked terrible, the best part was character creation says it all really.

I don't think I could pay more than £120 for controller then again all my controllers have had drift.

Just as a fyi I actually managed to fix 3 controller of drift using wd40 contact cleaner, I never thought it would work but has very well, I know it's a method that alot use on joycons.

So you can replace analogue sticks wonder how much they will be to replace because I know to do it know if you know how, they basically cost nothing.

I would of bet anything it was going to be astro vr and non vr versions but now after reading that sounds like it could be something brand new, which is exciting aswell I'm down for either tbh

I don't think so COVID was a thing, most games we would probably see about now could of missed a year in development if not more. I'd sooner have games coming within a year than show a game that's 3 years away.

I mean giving the miles ending i fully expect Spiderman 2 to be coop with both of them.

Always a shame to see games be shut down. But if there's like zero playing probably no need to keep them up. When there's still a small dedicated number of people playing stuff, I don't understand the need to turn off servers, yeah you don't need to have 100s of servers running you just scale down to the number of people playing. I'm sure as numbers deplete the much lower the cost of running

My solution is what's new should have its own tab so it's instantly expanded and it's straight away in order of what's come out that month, most recently in order and despite market deals in this tab it's just in order of release. shovelware games can not be in this section at all only way to see them is going to full ps5 or ps4 list

I mean Spotify works fine for me, actually thought it was the ps5 version with PlayStation card for it. I hope one thing they add if Spotify is playing it automatically cuts game music swear that was a feature years and years ago.

Bit off subject but I bet third party developers quite like 2 different strategies from MS and PS, they get some sort of guarantee of income on gamepass yet they still get there sales from other platforms which are probably going to higher in sales anyway even if gamepass didn't exist. But like what stray has done recently being on ps plus has helped market the game getting alot of people playing yet still sold well on PC

I must admit I love my trophies but platinums that require you to do nothing are just ridiculous same with deliberate duplicates. This issue with shovelware is so annoying store looks a complete mess with some good games getting swarmed by crap

With it being COVID, good weather majority of the world, games more expensive, bills more expensive is this really a surprise that gaming has probably took a backseat for alot of people. Apart from warzone although decent games cod just seems to had it's day in terms of there full releases maybe it's just me but there's no excitement for cod when comes around anymore, maybe that's just me.

Tbh don't really think we needed this remake in first place yeah the original gameplay and AI was poor but graphics wise was pretty good and it's strange that's what they are pushing. Again correct me if Im wrong but wasn't Sony bend and another out sourced studio working on this and naughty dog took that off there hands just seems this was very low priority to them.

We all have a choice and we don't have to buy it nobody is forcing you, yeah it's dissapointing because I think the expectations are always high for naughty dog but I'm far more excited for fractions and there next project.

I'm angry at something I don't have have take part of from a free rewards programs I don't have to use, which I didn't know about until few hours ago maybe NFTs. I want a digital figure in VR world from a game I complete but don't you dare call it a NFT.

Sounds cool hopefully like Microsoft rewards wouldn't be surprised if it's similar as in the challenges and rewards are from playing games they add to ps premium/extra that month. Also always thought it would be cool to have rewards for getting the platinum on games.

I get the impression Sony has been really impressed Haven. I know that might seen obvious considering the acquisition but even before hand when they announced the partnership for this game I remember the high praise. Interested to see the game probs one of the only studios I can honestly say I don't have a clue what to expect.

Not bad at all.... I know the other tiers have stray aswell. Also I have played Arcadegeddon last year it was actually pretty good interested to see what it's like now.

Give me socom you cowards 🤣🤣 I platinumed destruction allstars and didn't really hook me enough to keep me playing the best thing games can do is keep updating and adding too it to keep people interested, Rocket league, apex, siege and fortnite are perfect examples.

I'm excited for the future hopefully they have bit of a blow out this year and show us stuff coming in next 18 months they said they had 25 first party games in devopment and they went on to buy more studios after thatz so could be even more now. They also said half of them were new ips we literally know hardly any of them apart from rumours.

@Ryany yeah it looked alot better of course but hello games is tiny studio in comparrison. I mean more the extraction tool, the planet system, the ships, the moverment of suit even the UI looked very similar

Sony (and Nintendo) will never copy gamepass completely when their games sell millions at £70. Also apart from few exceptions alot of there games on the xbox showcase looked very low budget comparison to what alot of sony studios produce. I think sony and ms have very different approach to gaming atm. Also am I the only one that thought starfield is very similar to no man sky haha.

I said on another post that it was dissapointing lineup for me but tbh if you're new to ps or don't buy to many games it's incredible value and I've seen enough to buy premium for a few months from there depends on updates. Think I'm going to hold off on thoses maybe purchase games hoping they get added in future like stray for example.

I know I'm in the minority but I'd like it to be similar to dayz as in you need to survive food, drink, weapons ect and the part between players is finding radios ect helping each other survive and there another team where there only objective is to find and kill you and there already stacked on guns, ammo ect.

It's going to be PSVR2 games and updates from third parties like they said.... Then we get furious fans afterwards asking where last of us part 9 was
