Re: Fresh Marathon Details Cover Heroes, Pricing, and Bungie's Silence

Ssimsim

I actually like multiplayer games (probably only one on push square) 100s of hours into The finals, Apex, Fortnite, COD, R6 Siege and many more I always try most multiplayer games with friends. But I just think they've completely choosen wrong type of games I think socom would do better than any hero shooter they attempt I even think warhawk would do better. I think the right way to go about it is add multiplayer onto single player games even if it's quite basic like resistance, killzone, last of us and even socom did and then you have people happy they've got they're single player and you may even get a audience for multiplayer side and they you build from that if you have a player base, it seems alot less risky. I know alot will disagree but just my opinion.

Re: Publisher Nexon Investigating Cause of The Finals' 'Lower-Than-Expected' Performance

Ssimsim

Played almost 400 hours since PC beta and now playing on PS5, I love the finals, they've done well balancing the abilities, guns, gadgets ect. Like people have said above people stick to what they've already put time and effort into and don't really change. I've tried this with my nephews to get them into new game and although they enjoy it they always seems to go back to Fortnite or Roblox. The people like me who do give alot of games a chance and switch are going to switch again when other stuff comes out.

Edit: Just to add the reason some of player base maybe leaving is not because they're not adding content, they do. It's because the stuff they're adding is awful. The new map is bland and lazy, the new guns are terrible and the abilities they've added are OK but again not great. So despite adding content it's been really poor content they have added.

Re: Mini Review: As Dusk Falls (PS5) - Creative Character-Driven Drama

@Kachiun it's basically just watching and making choices that alter the story. You dont move around freely but you do get like still frames and choose like what area of room to search for example. Art style is really strange because its like still image frame by frame but I actually really enjoyed the style after a while.

Re: Helldivers 2 Honcho Suggests Not Buying the Game, Breaks New Records Anyway

I'm going to say it again as I have on previous posts if you get the error server capacity close the game and use the activity card play quick game below the game icon on ps dashboard. You will load straight into you ship (only works if you've played tutorial and a game before) if you want to play games with randoms you may have to play a easy game solo because when trying to join you will probs get a error but after one mission solo you'll be able join randoms in missions.

If you want to play with friends do the above method and in a party click request to join and your jump into friends ship be able to play fine. Don't know how this is even possible because if the servers are full they're full but for some reason it's worked every time for me and my friends. Hope this helps.

Re: Rumour: New Indiana Jones Game Is Also Being 'Considered' for PS5

Ssimsim

I think we're going to all Microsoft games come across which I kinda hope happens.... although I prefer playstations exclusives I always get Xbox towards end of gen to play games I've missed that were exclusive to Xbox. No fanboy console wars here just like games in general so this huge news for me.

Re: Sony's PC Port Dev Nixxes Under the Microscope in Studio Profile Video

Ssimsim

@themightyant maybe they can't talk about certain projects yet? With bluepoint going to a new IP, I wouldn't be surprised if they have gave wanted remastered plans to another studio and also talking about going onto new projects as quick as 3 months suggests that they maybe working on alot of things. Just my opinion I hope it's the case as I've always wrote theses off as pc port team and nothing else

Re: Friday the 13th: The Game Will Hang Up Its Hockey Mask As It's Axed from PS Store

Ssimsim

@KidRyan yeah it was something to do with Victor Miller (co creator) I remember one of the Devs on discord or twitter saying it was something to do with altered costume designs and I think some other minor things like cosmetics that they were not allowed to use. I may be mistaken but it was in courts for almost 3 years and that's why dedicated servers shut down in 2020 and it went to P2P hosting. Most that info is available on Google but I always remember a Dev being abit annoyed that it was going to courts rather than just take whatever it was out the game.

Re: Here's Exactly What Newly Revealed PS5, PC Game Concord Is

Ssimsim

@AdamNovice Completely agree with you. I love both single player and multiplayer and although I think 12 live service game is a bit excessive, I think the strangest decision is theses coming out within the same year or so.

Honestly quite sad that people want them all to fail. I actually hope some of them do kick off, I'm certainly not going to judge CGI trailers that showed nothing of the game at all.

Re: Sony Aiming for At Least Two Big PS5 Exclusives Each Year Across 'Every Major Genre'

Ssimsim

Although 12 live service games sounds excessive they are classing GT7 and MLB as 2 of them, also we know factions 2 will be aswell and firewalk, haven, bungie games will also be live service. On top of that it sounds like some of thoses may even be mobile games, remember Sony acquired mobile studio recently. Also firewall 2 on PSVR is more than likely aswell.

If it's done like ghosts legends (I know wasn't live service I just mean was done as add-on to the main game) or this rumoured horizon online game aswell I mean you are still getting single player experiences aswell.

On a side note did I hear bungie want 3 games out by 2026 or did I miss hear that? Guessing one is continuing support for destiny.

Re: Another Game as a Service on PS5 Is Being Abandoned

Ssimsim

As I say every time I don't mind if I'm getting a full game to begin with and if they support a game I love over years with support I honestly don't mind that one bit.

If people just don't like online Multiplayer direction I understand. But let's not pretend online Multiplayer is new to Sony First and second party let me cast you back to PS3 Socom, Mag, Warhawk, Starhawk, Twisted metal, Crash commando even Killzone and Motor Storm were heavy online.

As for bloodhunt game was OK it was pretty minimal and bit late to the party in saturated battle royal market. When it launched with almost forced PC crossplay with lots of people cheating on PC, even though you could turn it off, it was on by default and you wouldn't match with PS players if you turned it off. As at launch no aim assist on controller either which made the game very difficult for average player.

Re: Sony: We're Not Just Creating 10 Live Service Destiny or Fortnite Games

Ssimsim

I'm probably in the minority, judging by this comment section that actually don't mind live service games depending how it's done, although 10 games and judging most of theses will be within couple years of eachother is a bit excessive.

If it was a free game with just a season pass model like fortnite, apex and alot of others with just cosmetics then I'm fine with that.

If it's a full price game and nothing is locked behind a pay wall but the continued support over multiple years with large expansions again I have no problem with that, I can play full game and be done with it or if I really like it I can continue basically what is just DLC over multiple years.

Re: Microsoft Admits Xbox Game Pass Is Harming Software Sales After All

Ssimsim

I bet third party Devs are actually quite glad sony and Microsoft going in diff directions as in one heavily on gamepass even third party new releases and Sony who despite that are still sticking to there pricing model. So they get that guarantee fee from gamepass aswell as high potential sales from PlayStation who like today said on pushsquare Hogwarts 82% of sales on PlayStation.

Re: Knockout City Season 9 Will Be Its Last, Servers Shut Down on 6th June

Ssimsim

I think there's just too many online service games it's not even the case all the games are bad everybody wants that fortnite moment and why not they've made billions but games that offer something new like what fortnite did being first battle royal on console and even games like dayz and rust although not amazing games offer something that console do not have I was really surprised to see all servers full on rust of past Christmas on console.i feel we at the stage we need something new not a copy and paste of a successful games

Re: Round Up: Forspoken's Divided Reviews Make for Some Rough Reading

Ssimsim

People with different opinions how dare they.... In all honesty looks like 7 game when reviews are very mixed but I still like the look of the game which in this case I do, I will just look at the bad points from the bad reviews just to see if if broken mess and probably still get it unless there's something really bad I didn't like that popped up in several reviews.
