Re: Please Stand By for Official Fallout Prime Video Trailer

Probably gonna suffer from the same problem that basically all modern tv-shows does now.
Focus too much on soap opera nonsense, and just sprinkle in a minute or two of action in the beginning and end of the episodes. And then it will go on for too many seasons, with worse and worse quality.

I don't feel any excitement for tv-shows any longer. Same with the trash that is released in theaters.

Guess I just got old and grumpy 😂

Re: Reaction: The Problem with PlayStation Right Now

Steel76

I'm bored of mega budget AAA games.
They play it too safe, and focus too much on cinematics and realistic graphics.
Sony could have made those studios make lower budget AA games instead, to fill in the void between their AAA releases.
This will generation have been a huge disappointment, both from Xbox and PS. And from now on, I'll stick to PC and Nintendo consoles.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of PSVR2, One Year Later?

Steel76

My PSVR2 is gathering dust.
Not even RE4 VR could hold my interest long, due to the janky controls etc.

I'm having much more fun with Quest 3.
Especially since I can also play PCVR games wireless.

Been trying to sell my PSVR2, but so far noone is interested in buying the damn thing...

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Demo?

Steel76

Visuals are okey (though looked a bit last-gen), but the game design feels very dated. And those sequences, when you have to push L2 and R2, to crawl and turn the valve, just felt like something that should have died, in the PS3 era. The demo for the Remake was much better paced. This felt kinda boring, to be honest.

Hope you can turn of the motion blur in the full game, as it gave me motion sickness. Something I rarely get, even in VR games.

Re: PS5 Had Sony's Best Year in Japan for Almost 20 Years

Steel76

I miss the Japan game industry of the 80:s-00:s, when they really where on the top.
Especially JRPG:s were so much better back in the PS1/PS2 era.
There where so many new and interesting ideas back then. Hate how modern gaming is stuck in cinematic, open worlds and service games...

Yes I know indies exists, but it feels like they are also mostly recycling old ideas.

Re: Publishing Exec Claims 'There Are Too Many Games'

Steel76

It's kinda interesting, that I'm replaying Zelda 3, for the first time in 30 years, and I'm having more fun with that, than I ever have with most modern games. Most games today are so bland and forgettable. And I just can't get into cinematic games anymore. I miss the PS1 to PS3 era...
