Yeah, I didn't play it, back when it was new.
I took a break from gaming, during most of the PS2 generation. So last month I started to play a bunch of PS2 games, I never got the chance to play back in the day. Maybe I expected too much from the game, but I lost interest, after only 4 hours. It was too damn janky.
Especially the combat, was just frustratingly bad.
Probably would have enjoyed it more, 20 years ago, when we were used to crappy controls/camera.

As someone, that don't have nostalgia for the original, I'm looking forward to a new version.

Wasn't a huge fan of Returnal.
And early on, the clues about the twist in the story, became very obvious, which also killed the fun for me. A cliché that's been done to death in movies and tv-shows.
But still, the gameplay was well made.

I just wish they would make more arcade games, between their future AAA games.

I hope this will become mid budget AA projects, and not yet another bunch of AAA games, that will take 5 years to make.

It's too bad they can't use the Psygnosis name and logo.
Not only were their Amiga games stunning, when it came to music and graphics (though the gameplay was often kinda "meh", like the Beast games), but the artwork on those big boxes was amazing.

"Agony" and "Walker", on the Amiga, were my favorites.

Been playing through the two PSP games, and even though they're not as great as the first trilogy on PS2/PS3, they are still way more fun, that the boring direction they took the latest two.

I wish they would go back to the more classic style, for the next game. More focus on epic action, than drama.
And get rid of that damn annoying kid.
