Re: The Tekken 8 Closed Beta Test Is Now Live on PS5

@TheRickestRick Forgive if I'm explaining the obvious but you should go to the store (not Tekken page, just anywhere in the store) and select "redeem code" from the menu in upper right.
You can also do this in the mobile app.
I had no problem redeeming mine but it was during the previous run ("Closed Network Test") so I could just redownload it now.

Re: PS5 Is Running Riot in Europe, with Sales Up 175% Over Last Year

@UltimateOtaku91 @TanookiLeaf It's actually interesting as it really shows that Xbox's business these days is way more about software than the consoles.
Starfield apparently sold quite well and is currently the 7th best selling game of the year in the US (with majority of the sales being on PC) and that's not counting Game Pass.

Re: 8 PS Plus Extra Games for October Leaked Early

@daveofduncan My main problem was that it had several types of collectibles but they were all literally just things you need find yourself close to, notice them and pick up - with no puzzles involved or anything like that. Just pickups and time trials.
Compare that to the Batman games where you had a couple hundred riddler puzzles with many different mechanics involved and that wasn't even the end of it.
I'm afraid it just lacked variety for me. I did like the city's look a lot though.

@BeerIsAwesome It wasn't a huge success, was already on deep sales and it's not going to suddenly start selling again. Makes sense for them to sell it to subscriptions while it's still kinda fresh.
It's not a bad game btw - the missions are pretty good - it's just its open world that doesn't have much interesting to offer, unfortunately

Re: What Time Is PlayStation's State of Play?

MK1 will be out in early access by the time this airs and it already had a launch trailer and a Kombat Kast stream this week, so I doubt it's a part of this.
FF7 Rebirth sounds like a good bet.
Stellar Blade is technically not 3rd party or indie but I guess "a focus" doesn't necessarily mean it's exclusively about those, so I am hoping for an update on that.
