I have never played any of these games but I fired up the first one and I have no idea what to do. It throws you into a level and I was told to find something.

As some one in the UK, this update offers me nothing :/

I thought this was just for the US? Or at least it was select few during testing?

The Plucky Squire and Night in the Woods for me! Played Night in the Woods when it was on Game Pass and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend it, especially this time of year 🍁

Can it stand horizontal without an extra stand? I have the original fat and that bad boy is very unstable without it.

I have always said that Play Room is the best PS5 experience and I am glad this is living up to it. Will definitely pick this up at a later date when it is a little cheaper. Can imagine there will be hundreds of copies in CeX in a month (thanks to the Plat and Sell crew lol)

I really should jump back into this. Had it on launch, played for a little while and never went back.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare we are 4 years into this current generation cycle and we have yet to see anything original from Naughty Dog. Since the PS3 days, I always saw them as "the PS Studio", the ones that really showed off the hardware tech. It has been Insomniac Games doing all the current leg work in this generation.

It is a real shame. They do have some great talent at their studios but they all seem to be working on huge budget games that will not see the light of day until 8 years after concept.
Just glad there are plenty of Indie games to fill the gaps

I know that they have the new Astro Bot game coning out, but have Sony/PlayStation shown off anything new coming soon? Something to get gamers excited and hopefully forget this disaster.
I am very out of the loop with gaming atm, but I remember a time where we seemed to always know what was coming in the next 6-12 months? I know they shot themselves in the foot a few times by accounting games way to early but they did become better at it.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare with how long it takes to make games now, I am always amazed that in one generation, Naughty Dog churned out Uncharted 1,2,3 and The Last of Us! We even got 3 Infamous games, 3 Resistance games, 2 Killzone games etc...
You could see the shift starting to happen during the PS4, but Sony had more Studios to fill gaps.

Pretty weak month for me.
Here is hoping the Quidditch game is half decent.

I feel bad for the entire development team. What was it? 8 years in development (probably a few of them coming up with the main concept) and this is the response they get.
When I checked the numbers this morning, it was less than 100!

@breakneck I think it is a lot more noticeable in the PSN sales because of the trophy games which have separate releases for PS4 and PS5. I am quite thankful for the Wishlist feature

If you have missed out on Midnight Suns, I would say do not try to rush through it. It goes on sale very often.

Never saw the hype of The Witcher 3. Tried it multiple times and it never clicked.

I have just finished up Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and I really likes the way that game handled guiding a user.

An urban RPG? Now that is a genre I cannot said I have heard of before.
I've only heard of Genshin Impact and from what I understand, it can suck you in if you are not careful. I don't think I will be trying it after reading your review. The one thing I have trouble dealing with in f2p games is just the amount of systems/currency to learn

@Voltan yes, the early access for Plus members. Was reading the blog and it said ‘ Just look for the option to download and play the beta when you boot up your PS5.’ That’s what I was looking for on my PS5 😂

But after another re read of the post, I assume it will be 10am PDT along with the pre order folks 😀

@riceNpea I agree, revealing it before Chistmas/Holidays with a future (2025) release day would destroy any console sales, as some may wait.

If my memory serves me well... I remember that Sony use to do full announce hardware release dates during Gamescom. I certainly remember the PS3 Slim getting a price and date. And that came out the same year, just in time for the holidays.

It may sound silly, but imagine if Sony are holding out to find out when the Switch 2 comes out. As I am sure that would kill everything in it's path 😂

I am glad to see Sony back at the TGS and will be interested to see what they bring, because in the past this is where they usually show off their more "quirky" games from Studios long gone...

@tweaknmod don’t all Ubi games since AC Valhalla support their own cloud saving now? I know I have seen my PS5 save when I load the game up on Xbox

Cannot really complain as my latest 12 months of Premium only cost £65. As long as one games takes my interest, I am winning

I’ve not been fully following any gaming news for quite a while and this was the first bit of media I paid 100% attention to. I’m slowly catching up. (Like I found out a few days ago there is a new Star Wars and Assassin Creed game coming out this year!)
Up until that SoP, I had no idea Concord existed let alone what sort of game it was 😂

I was invested during the cutscene at the start. Looked like it was going to be a fun space adventure game...

Nothing of interest for me there. Not a great month really.
For those who want to play RDR2, I would start right away as Rockstar games only seem to be on the service for a few months at a time.

I honestly have no idea what happened in the end. Prior to be completing the game, I saw posts saying saying the ending was amazing... and I felt it was just meh
