So, decent enough and there's nothing majorly wrong with it, but there doesn't seem to be anything particularly amazing about it either. Still, I'd enjoy it, so I might pick it up at some point.
@MickOnYourFace I must have saw the battle pass mentioned on Nintendo Life. The twitter link at the bottom of this article leads to a humble page with a bit more info if you're interested.
Battle pass though. I'd like to see more monster catching games pop up instead of just Pokemon being the main notable game in this genre, but that battle pass makes me very reluctant to try out Temtem.
Those sorts of messy grids detailing the various editions and DLC make me hesitant to purchase this. Spending time trying to figure out the correct way to buy this is hassle.
I wonder how they can proceed with the story after the events of Portal 2, but the writers should be able to come up with something great. The recent Aperture Desk Job had something that would work well with Portal 3.
Might be a cool feature, but it's not an option that I'd ever use. For me, much of the appeal of these kinds of games is that it's your decisions that'll affect who lives and dies.
Remember all those rumours saying the PS5 would be backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2? I'm not going to trust these kinds of rumours until there's an official announcement.
Slightly odd trailer, what with the panning shots without seeing the character move. But it does look very good. I've always got a soft spot for these kinds of old school 3D platformers, so I'm excited.
"Classic games" is the interesting part for me. If that includes PS1 and PS2 being emulated without streaming, then that would be very exciting. However, I don't play online that often, and only very rarely have PS+, so it'll be hard to win me over.
That's great news. As it's WB, I was worried it would be full of microtransactions or go down the live service route. Instead, focusing on the single player experience was exactly what I wanted for this game.
That trailer was impressive. It's a strong single player experience, and basically everything I wanted for the game. As long as it runs fine on a PS4 and there's no major issues, I'll likely grab it soon after launch.
Brilliant reviews. The only thing stopping me from getting it right away is that I've never played a Souls-like game before. If I start with the latest and greatest, then that could make the others seem bad by comparison. So instead, I'm thinking about starting Dark Souls or something soon, then Elden Ring can be a bit further down the line.
With movies, I usually agree with the audience much more than critics. But from the trailers, I'm not fussed about going to to see this one. When it eventually appears on TV, I may give it a try.
It would be cool if it is separate from their Dark Pictures Anthology. I enjoy those games for what they are, but at this point it makes sense for them to mix it up and do something a bit different.
@Ralizah For the UK, Atlus games are priced very inconsistently on the 3DS store. Some are still full price, while others in the same franchise can be heavily discounted. Soul Hackers is oddly cheap at £9, so at that price I'll snag it without a second thought.
The demo was alright, but seemed to be lacking the spark that games such as Shin Megami or Persona have. The grinding and the lack of enemy variety are my main concerns, so I'll probably skip this one.
Some news on possible upcoming expansions would be cool. It would be fun to revisit this game again, as long as they don't screw up the release of new content.
I keep misreading the title as Stfu, which makes me expect something cringy. Have to keep reminding myself that it's actually a cool martial arts game.
The high difficulty is making me more interested here, as I want to see if I can overcome the challenge. If it runs fine on PS4, then I'll be tempted to try it out.
As long as they nail the single player experience, I'll probably get this. I wonder where the game will be set. Returning to Vice City or the Las Vegas style place from San Andreas would be fun, or they could mix things up with a brand new location.
I don't exactly play racing games that often, so some annoyance like this is enough to put me off considering it. Requiring an online connection is lame, as there'll be issues whenever there's server troubles or maintenance, or once they decide to shut down the servers.
Looks great. Nice pixel style whilst looking fun to play. It doesn't sound like they really need the kickstarter money though, so I'll hold off until it releases and then perhaps buy it then.
No reason to blow this tweet out of proportion until if and when backwards compatibility is officially announced. There was also a lot of rumours before the PS5 launch about BC, but that naturally didn't happen.
Lovely. Great to have a way to revisit Elusive Targets. And I can hardly wait to play around with that Freelancer mode. I'm excited to get back into Hitman again.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 429
It's a mix of games from me this weekend, as I'm playing The Stanley Parable, Bioshock 2, and Persona 4 Golden.
Re: Persona-Inspired Action RPG Eternights Announced for PS5, PS4
This certainly has my interest. Hope it turns out good.
Re: Over 30 Developers and Publishers Confirmed for Summer Game Fest
Geoff's events never end up being as good as the hype, but that's quite some list. There's bound to be some great announcements featured.
Re: Kao the Kangaroo (PS5) - A Fun But Flawed Platforming Throwback
So, decent enough and there's nothing majorly wrong with it, but there doesn't seem to be anything particularly amazing about it either. Still, I'd enjoy it, so I might pick it up at some point.
Re: Please Don't Get Your Hopes Up for Today's Persona 25th Anniversary Stream
I appreciate the realism in the headline and not over-hyping the stream.

Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 9
9/15, my best score yet on these quizzes.
Re: Embracer Group to Buy Multiple Square Enix Studios and IPs in Huge Acquisition
That price seems oddly low. Embracer Group is a bit of a mystery to me, so I can't tell whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 8
6/15. I only knew two of them, but had some good guesses.
Re: Sony Confirms PS Plus Subscription Stacking Has Been Blocked
Subscription stacking had been acceptable for a long time, so it's not right to suddenly brush it off as a loophole.
It's a poor move on Sony's part. It wouldn't have been such an issue if they'd just announced this ahead of time.
Re: The House of the Dead Remake Coming to PS4, Out Next Week
I'm interested, but it depends on whether the controls are okay on PS4.
Re: Sonic Origins Spins to PS5, PS4 in June with Multiple Pricey Editions

Re: Mini Review: Slipstream (PS4) - OutRun 2022 Makes a Real Splash Wave
Glad to hear that this does a good job at scratching that Out Run itch.

Re: The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Finally Launches This April on PS5, PS4
Very nice. I've been quite interested in trying out The Stanley Parable for a while now, so I'm looking forward to this newer version.
Re: Poll: Will You Subscribe to Sony's New PS Plus Tiers?
Might subscribe for a few months if the selection of downloadable PS2 classics is excellent. But mainly I'll stay unsubscribed.
Re: Random: Ratchet & Clank's Rivet Was Nearly Also Named Ratchet
Rivet is a cool name. A unique name like that helps give her her own identity.
Re: Xbox Game Pass Inspired PS Plus Reboot Reveal Rumoured with Splashy Lineup of Games

Re: New Witcher Game Announced, Developed on Unreal Engine 5
It's exciting news. Hope it turns out great. Though after the whole Cyberpunk affair, I'll wait until after release before considering getting this.
Re: Hogwarts Legacy Will Be Free of Microtransactions
That's great news. As it's WB, I was worried it would be full of microtransactions or go down the live service route. Instead, focusing on the single player experience was exactly what I wanted for this game.

Re: Don't Even Attempt to Outrun Slipstream on PS4
Maybe I misread the title, but I was expecting the article to be about technical issues with the PS4 version.
I spent a scarily long time in Yakuza 0 playing Out Run in the arcade. Slipstream gives off similar vibes, so I'm interested.
Re: The Quarry Is a $70 PS5 Title from Supermassive Games
Looks good so far. I do like their games, but the price they're asking here is way too much. I'll pick it up when it's heavily discounted.
Re: Still Playing Fall Guys on PS4? You'll Need to Re-Download It via the New Launcher
It would be interesting to hear from a technical standpoint why they're having to do this, though that's possibly not something they want to reveal.
Re: State of Play Showcase for Hogwarts Legacy Coming This Thursday
I'm eager to see some gameplay. This has the potential to be a brilliant game, but there's plenty of ways they could screw it up.
Re: Best The Simpsons Games
Hit and Run was great. It was one of the first console games I ever played, so I have a lot of fond memories of it.
Re: State of Play Confirmed, Showcasing Third Party PS5, PS4 Games
20 minutes is fairly short, but that could be a good thing. The past ones have had a tendency to drag on.
Re: Round Up: Elden Ring PS5, PS4 Reviews Crown One of the Best Games of All Time
Brilliant reviews. The only thing stopping me from getting it right away is that I've never played a Souls-like game before. So instead, I'm thinking about starting Dark Souls or something soon, then Elden Ring can be a bit further down the line.
Re: Elden Ring (PS5) - Likely Another FromSoftware Great
With all the glowing reviews it's getting, I'm thinking it might be time for me to get into the Souls-like genre.

Re: Soul Hackers 2 Brings Shin Megami Tensei to PS5, PS4 in August
It's a cool trailer. Looks like some Persona influence with that vibrant style.
Now we know what this announcement is, I'll probably go and get the first game on the Nintendo 3DS eshop before that closes for good.
Re: Monark (PS5) - Tedious JRPG Grinds to a Halt
The demo was alright, but seemed to be lacking the spark that games such as Shin Megami or Persona have. The grinding and the lack of enemy variety are my main concerns, so I'll probably skip this one.

Some news on possible upcoming expansions would be cool. It would be fun to revisit this game again, as long as they don't screw up the release of new content.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 413
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker. I've beaten the main Sept-something route, and am now on the other Tri-thingy story.
Also playing some Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, and I'll find a new game to get started with as well.
Re: Sifu (PS5) - Kung Fu Brawler Is Brutal But Brilliant
I keep misreading the title as Stfu, which makes me expect something cringy. Have to keep reminding myself that it's actually a cool martial arts game.

Re: Gran Turismo 7 Will Require an Online Connection on PS5, PS4 to Prevent Cheating

I'd love for this to be true, but I'll wait for official confirmation before getting excited.
Re: Kao the Kangaroo Is Bouncing Back in PS5, PS4 Reboot
That looks good so far. I'm very fond of 3D action adventure games, so hopefully this one will turn out great.
