Might be a good way for me to experience the show. I loved the top gear from BBC days, and I don't have access to amazon prime. Which I'm kinda gutted on missing out on the show.

I've got the week off work so with my wife working and the kids in school I'd like to start and finish the new tomb raider then see what else I can get through from my back log. Which depends on the speed of my decorating skills which are few and far between.

Looks like a 90's John Woo film in a really good way.

Maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way, but why would recent cod rdr2 fifa benefit? They have huge player bases already, you can still play black ops 1 on the ps3. Now if you said titanfall 2 I'd kinda understand

That's so tragic first time I've been called middle age before. Guess it's true. Unfortunately I'm cash rich time poor as it were, so I don't get to game very much. Think it was about 5-6 hrs per week on that video thing you can do to sum up your ps4 life. But putting it into context I'd spent £500k on a house she wanted so I really felt I deserved a great tv. Out of interest how old are you?

Exactly, if you can't tell the difference of 4k on my LG oled then you need to go to specsavers, and stop kidding yourself that there's no difference. The difference is night and day. I will agree though entry price for good oled is high currently, but this will drop. I got mine as a mix of buying a big house to please the wife and a decent bonus when I needed it, but £3k is a lot for younger gamers to be investing in. The only benefit of being 42

We played it so much when she was pregnant with our first. Honestly if platinum trophies existed we'd have got them each. I wouldn't be surprised if my daughter learnt how to play in the womb.
But all that said she'd still have the hump unless I got lots of accompanying gifts. I have form in this though, I once got her hotel the board game second hand at great expense, as she loved it as a child, and we played together as a family which made her so happy. So who knows the outcome

Annoyingly for me my youngest teenage daughter, is going on a school skiing holiday next month, I stupidly pointed out steep was now on psplus. And just like that I haven't had a chance to play anything. Hopefully a it of late night gaming tonight.

Seems like a fair way to stress test the servers starting with a smaller batch of players. Doesn't everyone do it this way? Even dreams has an early beta for those signed upto them followed by a public beta.
On topic I haven't decided if I'll try the public beta yet. Might just wait for a few friends to recommend or not to me. I can usually trust their opinions, and I've so much to play.

That's what I was thinking. They still make the best campaign out of the 3, there recent multiplayer mode are terrible in comparison though

I hope it plays out more like uncharted 2 if true. The moment to moment gameplay was fantastic and why it's still the best in the series for me. And hopefully we won't hear anymore of the, he's a mass murderer narrative. I loved the high tempo non stop action. Bring on the killing its a game

I downloaded God of War, so hopefully a little blast on that. But I'd be lying if I said anything else I've booked a spot in the gutter as I'm going to be drinking like it going out of fashion, starting in a couple of hours. Build up for new years eve

Wow thanks for putting the effort in, maybe I'm just blinded by my own views, I know lots of friends with kids that wouldnt be allowed to game on the family computer. And loads of middle age gamers that the PlayStation is their only link to technology.
And for this reason I thought that any give away should match the system it was bought on.
Anyway that's not important as the base game will still be awful regardless

The trouble is unlike Nintendo which has a clear hierarchy of games that pretty much everyone knows what the classics are. When it comes to PlayStation the breadth of games mean no 2 people will choose the same games, short of having an open system that you can download you own personal top 25 games from a store. I don't think anything signed off by committee would work.

Merry Christmas and all that. Just wondered if you knew the ps4 to computer ratio as fact or guessing as it comes across like a fact which would be pretty hard to get the info for.
Anyway I'm 42 and don't own a computer as I have no Interest in owning one. Also I bet I'mnot the only one. Not trying to be argumentative just want to know if you trying to pass off assumptions as fact

I can't understand at the price nex machina drops to in sales why everyone on ps4 doesn't have a copy, its right up there for me as game of the generation. It looks stunning and the gameplay is so slick. Its perfect at what it wants to be

5% of an enormous number of players is still a Hugh amount of active gamers. I guess if they're still playing on an old system, they'll love playing Minecraft as it is and that's still going to be the same game they know and love.

Going to keep an eye on R-Type Dimensions EX. Love some classic shump, hopefully great like Dariusburst chronicles and not like Raiden V which wasn't so great, its taken me over a year to complete.

I've not played the original but this does look like fun, a bit of chewing gum for the brain

I really like this site, I even played my video to my non interested wife, and got a classic eye roll.

Turns out I've played my ps4 for 1557 hours across 98 games, though I can't compete with rare trophies like some I got great stuff in dariusburst chronicles which I share with 4339 others. And my first game was resogun. I put the most time into cod WWII at 331 hours.

You're very lucky then I'm on my 3rd, my lauch day one lasted about a month, I got free replacement then I traded In for a launch day pro. Which is great, but noisier than a hooker at an A list celebs apartment working for tips.

I agree but sometimes I'm a skeptical they don't make the grind longer and harder than it would be without them.

The price drop is incredible on the oled this year. I'm happy that I got my LGb6 when I did but my wife can still bring up that I spent £3k on a telly. Can't recommend it enough though it's still incredible every time I watch it

I'm literally the same, although I sometimes wait longer, you get the best patched experience also. I'm not paying more to beta test. The only thing in the back of my mind is should I bite now or gamble on the 12 days of Christmas sales. I currently have plenty to play for at least the next month or so

I don't get why people would want any bundled ps4 that has a standard ps4 with no logos added or just different in some way
