Making good progress in God of war. I'm absolutely loving it so far, just worried I'm getting a bit strong for the enemy's and it's getting a little easy. Still I can go 1 harder level if I need to. Other than that I'm loving the new Alcatraz map on blackout, got 4 wins and 3 second place yesterday , some of which were played with randoms.
If its anything like his football commentary and not watered down. It should be funny, just don't cut anything. And put a warning for the easily offended. Like us decide if we want to here the C bomb
@tomassi You have the same play style as me. I never buy day 1 either. I only buy digital now at I've got 5TB of hard drive. I already have driveclub on disc so would want it cheaper to suit my laziness.
I'm Probably 15 or so hours into god of war, so continuing to push through on this. Want to play a bit of soulcalibur 6. Haven't had a proper go yet, still annoyed my 14 daughter is now better than me and puts my reflexes to shame. Wouldn't mind playing some more driveclub after the terrible news it's having its servers cut. I haven't helped the game (apart from buying it and all its DLC), I haven't played it in ages
@redd214 I had this exact problem, but it was only occurring randomly. I'd download a 10GB patch in 7 or 8 mins the it would take an hour to install. It was really random when it happened and not happened in last month for me
Would be amazing for me, I buy all my games digitally, and I'd love to be able to gift them to my nephew when I'm done. Assuming it wouldn't cost me money to transfer them.
Finally finished up shadow of the tomb raider last week, so last night I decided to boot up god of war from my backlog, only played 3 or 4 hours. But man is it good, can't see me paying much else. I may even switch to appear off line to stop the invites to blackout
@lacerz
It often seems like America is the pinnacle of first world countries, where you'd expect by default the best Internet. But somehow you keep voting in such money hungry governments and never pass fair play anti monopoly rules so all the money is kept at the top, capitalist ceo's of you major companies monopolise your country and milk all your money. There are so many poor people you could fight it and vote for better opportunities, instead your fed the belief that you could be a success and live the American dream.... At what cost to the majority.
Edit, due to good enforced competition I get 200mb unlimited fiber for hardly anything and I have at least 6 alternative providers if I choose to move. For either better price or service.
Definitely wouldn't be getting this, I barely have time to play more than 1 or 2 psplus games a year, even though I'm interested in more of them. So I'm certainly not paying for games I have no Interest in. There are so many amazing games to play that I choose to buy. My paid for backlog includes spider-man, God of War, farcry 5, wolfenstein 2. I literally can't get through the cream of the crop quick enough. ..... Man what a great backlog. First World problems
Still to finish off some shadow of the tomb raider, then a bit of soulcalibur 6, still getting back into it, it's been a while since I was good at it about 96 or 97, hoping muscle memory kicks in soon. Then filling in the gaps with a bit of blackout and some multiplayer as they seem to have given out the DLC maps free as I was playing them last night and I never buy anything like that. Other than that my wife and youngest daughter are away, so me and my eldest are about to watch England v Scotland rugby, unfortunately we can only come second. We'll done Wales. Then a couple of movies. She wants to Watch siccario and I'm choosing lock stock and 2 smoking barrels.
Well you couldn't employ anyone from my city. Its hard to go out and find anyone that isn't smashed on their poison of choice, having the time of their lives.
@PSfan4Life22 Sensitive Americans I guess, can carry a gun but something natural like the female form is something to fear. I don't get how the reverse isn't true
@PapaGlitch Correct. I only know because my manager is celebrating international woman's day with the female managers today, and he said he'd be doing the same for international men's day. I recommended spearmint rhino. Not sure how that will work out
I got it with infinity warfare, but its such a pain as you need the infinity warfare disc in just to play it even though it was a downloaded game. So now at last I can delete that version and redownload so I can play off my hard rive with ease. Happy days
Going to carry on with shadow of the tomb raider. Thought I'd be well done by now but keep getting invited into blackout by nats and wasting time there. I'll also be starting out on soulcalibur 6 which I picked up in the sale probably only put 30mins or so into it so far. Really can't see me getting into any other games as I tend to Complete before moving on.
I'll raise a beer to that. We'll done for keeping it engaging over such a long time. I've not been here from the start but have enjoyed visiting here daily since I got my lauch day PS4.
I stopped downloading or adding to library the Vita and PS3 games years ago. I always download the Ps4 games as I have 5TB storage but realistically I never play them. If I liked them I've already bought them. I literally have no time in my life to play games I didn't want even if some may be great to others. My back log is vast from games I really want to play. Even after all this I still think it's good value just to have a more stable online, its noticeably better than when it was free.
@Frigate Out of interest do you actually like Peugeot cars or were you being sarcastic, it hard to tell online. Only I've never met anyone who doesn't think they're awful. I've personally had one for a year or so and the best thing I can think to say about it is that I know I've had the worst car of my life and its only better cars for the rest of my life now.
I picked up farcry 5 in the sale along with soulblade 6. Not sure I get to these, still finishing off shadow of the tomb raider. Plus have god of war and spider-man in the backlog. But hey got some fun ahead of me
Thinking of picking up farcry 5 for £19.99. Also Road redemption is cheap so may pick that up for my road rash itch. Not to be mistaken for road rage that is also on offer but terrible.
Not the order I'd choose, but if you look at it as a total list its very impressive. Just one point of note, come June 24th we all know Crash Team Racing is number 1.
@Shepherd_Tallon It's funny, for me it's the opposite. I keep seeing it everywhere. Yesterday I was in Curry's looking for TVs for my daughter and it was playing on all the screens.
After promising myself to get soulcalibur day 1,i failed to get it. Now I'm just holding out for a price cut to jump in. Not bothered if I get the DLC or not just like the look of the base game.
Got the week off again. So looking to finish off shadow of the tomb raider which I guess Im going to need a few evenings on. Then something from the backlog. Hoping England stuff the Welsh I'm the 6 nations later and set themselves up for a grandslam on the way.
Edit: or as it appears next weekend for the rugby
Mines at the back of the wardrobe collecting dust since a daughter took my TV in the bedroom when hers broke. To be fair I probably played less than a few hours per year since the ps4 came out. More of a bluray player for the bedroom
I've never cared about cross play, if it's forced on me at least let me choose to play with the ps4 community only. It might then remain a level playing field. I really don't care about supporting other platforms, they're no my problem
@Princessmadllama I get 200mb fiber in England, I think you'll find like most countries it's just not full coverage. I'm sure the new 5G when it comes out will have a massive impact though
I'm hoping to try it with a few mates over the weekend, annoyingly when I downloaded it first time it crashed my ps4. Such is life, I won't hold it against the game
Just watched the video, how disappointing is that. I think I was fooling myself thinking it would be the quality of TF2. Wanted to reminisce the team death match mode without titans which I loved
@IBeAGamer
Or to speed things up for you, you don't like anything playstation. There that might solve you future post just copy any paste. Your welcome
Was looking forward to this but glad I've read the review. Even rewatched some John Woo movies, hard boiled, a better tomorrow and the killer in anticipation. Slight gutted at the out come to be honest.
Been playing shadow of the tomb raider all week so I can't see that stopping. So far really enjoying the game. Not sure why so much shade was thrown at it when it launched
@fluggy Great standards. Apart from the odd competitive multiplayer, like movies I've positioned myself 1 year being the curve. As you can't miss what you haven't had. Plus it's cheap and usually patched to perfection.
Sounds promising, sort of thing I could just play an episode after my wife and kids go to bed on a work night and not get so engrossed in I stay up all night
