I kinda agree with the last of us. I’m not a big horror fan and I put off getting the last of us on ps3 partly because it was sold as a survival horror. I picked it up on the PS4 and loved it definitely don’t think it’s a horror game in any shape or form

My team all like the odd bit of zombies. But I tend to skip it and stay on multiplayer if I’m on. I’m a little put off by the lack of a campaign, but treyarch make a great multiplayer. And having just tried battlefield 1 and hating both the multiplayer and campaign I’m mean it’s so much worse than battlefield 4. There’s no way I’m going to be getting battlefield V for my multiplayer kicks

Wow onrush dropping to £27 pretty quickly. Almost considered mass effect andromeda for £5.39 but good value doesn’t come with extra free time. And I’m not sure I’ve got time for mediocrity at any cost.

Yay a backlog clearing month. Or a newish game at a reduced price. There’s so much out there I’ve not played yet. They really could stop making games for years and I’d not notice

Playing through the stories in battlefield 1 and trying a bit if multiplayer. It’s not clicking yet, think it’s because I can’t find a gun I like. I need an automatic rifle or sub that has relatively good recoil. Not sure if it’s the world war 1 setting but I found plenty of decent guns in battlefield 4. So I could at least be competitive this late into the game.

Need to buy you TVs in March April as the new ranges come out in May for most manufactures and you get the best deals as retailers clear their stocks. In the uk anyway. Don’t upgrade without going OLED though I have a man crush on my tv it’s so good

You’re right Moving house is a complete game killler. I moved November 2016. There so much to do and we got a house that needs doing up. Luckily I have no man skills so my wife knows we have to get people to do all the work. But seriously just choosing stuff and cleaning up after tradesmen is so time consuming. Not to mention wallet destroying, just over £20k for a new kitchen. But don’t let me put you off it’s worth it. I managed to convince my wife I’d be happy to move if I could have a new tv and got a £3k OLED . So still chuffed with that

I tend to game a lot less during the summer. A number of factors for me I guess. My kids are off school and stay up a lot later and my wife’s a teacher so the same for her. But the biggest change is how many summer evenings my wife likes to spend in the pub, going out or having a bbq. I find I don’t enjoy gaming when I’ve been drinking as I mainly play fast paced games (seriously try playing nex machina after a few beers). That and there’s just more to do. On a positive though I get my once a year go on my vita when I go on holiday.

I’ll get heavy rain as I’ve somehow not got round to it yet. And I’ll definitely try absolver as think it might be a good game for me in a sort of guilty pleasure way.

It’s my mums 70th Saturday and my wife’s birthday Sunday. So party followed by bbq. Added to that my eldest daughter has finished her exams and is off for the next 11 weeks. Add in the World Cup and I’ll be lucky if I get time to get 10 mins gaming . But on the positive side the beer fridge is rammed full

My view of the campaign, as someone who’s played through them all would be that it’s one of the poorer ones. But has a great redeeming factor which is the whole thing can be played coop. The story seems disjointed but the gameplay mechanics are sound. As for the multiplayer for a futuristic game it’s pretty good. Not quite as fluid as titanfall 2 but better than advanced warfare and significantly better than infinite warfare

I set it to download from my phone. Went for a quick game and told need to insert disc. So had to deleted installed disc game and then download from the store. I’m sure Sony could make this easier as I’d already installed the game. Still done now.

I was hoping to play through the first just before the 2nd releases. But currently so hyped I may be playing tonight as well

That looked amazing. I’m so hype. The game seemed really responsive and I loved how much weight was behind the impact animations

Loved the stealth gameplay. Hopefully they’ll show some guns blazing action to match the same quality next

I was both shocked and pleased to see Detroit still sitting high. Haven’t played it yet but really looking forward to hopefully in the near future

Picked up the premium edition of battlefield 1 In the sale so should be bug free by now........ that plan didn’t work for battlefield 4. But I’m sure I’ll easily get £11.99 of value out of it.

Non issue for me. I don’t want to play against other platforms because you can’t guarantee a level playing field. One platform limits these issues. Also if I was Sony I wouldn’t, it’s a key selling point having the largest install base.

Hopefully getting the time to start a new game to me. My back log is ever growing.I find if I only have an hour or so I play.i play an online game as I like to get caught up in my single play games, so a good solid 3 hours will get me into one. Thinking of uncharted the LL

Really enjoyed the vita version, one of my favourite games on the system. Hopefully just as fun and play a bit better with a standard ds4.

Surely the real final today is Sarasons v Exeter. In terms of gaming not sure, we’re half way through the rugby and Sarasons are winning and I’m a few pints into the match. Tend not to play if I’ve had a drink as my coordination goes quickly with a few pints of fighting juice in me. But Sunday should be good for some chilled gaming.

If you go to the ps store another one of the battlefield 1 DLC is free today. Personally I’ve been downloading them as they appear free even though I don’t have the game, with the intention of picking the base game up cheap some day and having all the DLC.

I honestly think it’ll work pretty well. I’ve enjoyed all treyarch multiplayer games and think they have an amazing amount of polish out the box. For me they feedback and control is some of the best. I guess my only bias is a fair pretty well in all their games wether it’s k/d spm or win loss ratio. I also have a good team to play with. So for me reAlly looking forward to trying this out.

I went from Panasonic plasma to oled. They’re immeasurable better. As for motion blur read the linked review oled TVs have almost zero motion blur. Much better than any other technology

No image burn whatsoever and I have teen age daughters that leave it paused all the time. To be honest I didn’t have a problem with my plasma before and they’re supposedly have a bigger issue. Anyway if you do get it these a pixel refresh option in the menu that would return them to original state so a non issue really

Th C7 is exactly the same as the B7 but curved. Both amazing personally I went flat screen as I have a large lounge with quite a few different viewing angles.

Although expensive I can say I have seen no better picture as the LGB7 OLED TV. The tv has also won the best 4K HDR gaming tv 2018 on rtings.com not sure I could ever buy a non OLED TV again. I’ve got the same 4tb WD passport hard drive it’s work perfectly every day this year. Having this much space has really made me enjoy my PS4 so much more. Just having access to all my games and not having to install again if I want a quick blast on an old classic like driveclub, resogun, battlefield 4 which previously I’d have had to delete to make space for newer games and probably never bothered to install and download the massive patches for plus all the dlc.

Think I’m going to start a ps plus game either knack or Deus Ex. Not sure yet.

I think your clutching at straws to make your point. I love dead nation but come on they’re not comparable. It’s a twin stick shooter, why not add alienation or nex machina if you going to try to compare apples to oranges

Let’s not forget the last of us was a PS3 title and therefore built on that architecture. The possibilities on the PS4 are far greater. And they always seem like a team to try and push boundaries with whatever system they have worked on.

I opened up to post a comment that I’ve picked against the grain, only to see we have the same choices. I feel like the part in train spotting where sick boy gives up heroine just to make Renton look like his efforts mean nothing.

I only need Cervantes now and that’s my core fighters accounted for. (Assuming I didn’t miss a Cervantes announcement). If he appears not only will it be a day one purchase but I think throwing my wife and kids out for the weekend and getting my brother round would be a fine move.

I really enjoyed my first play through. First time I’d played a game like this. Definitely worth a play if it’s your first time. I won’t play it again purely because of the backlog of untouched games I have.
