Don't know where I saw it but apparently the el gargante double fight has been cut, as has the dog assist in the first fight as well as the laser room and massive statue chase. If the other remakes are anything to go by, there's 100% going to be cut content. Whether you might miss it or not is another question.

@ColdHandGee can't comment on the ps5 version but the ps4 one was good. There's a fair bit of missing content from the original game, and the dismemberment from re2 is missing (for whatever reason?) but it's definitely an enjoyable few hours.

SH 1 needs to be remade before 2.

They shouldn't have made Miles yet tbh.
Peter is now the backseat in his own game. Miles has exactly the same skill set and plays exactly the same yet has better additional powers than the actual spider-man. They also made Peter weaker in Miles (getting knocked out by Rhino then saved by the rookie). He should have come later.

@jdv95 start with batclaw (l2 and triangle?) punch, dodge, punch, dodge, punch... Absolute key is the slight pause between actions. Don't just spam. Just try get combo above 30 and remember always finish one with ground pound (r2 triangle from memory?) as it times your score by 10 (100? Been a while). Can help if I can 🤷‍♂️

Just finished guardians of the galaxy last night, really bloody enjoyed it. Gonna go back and do a collectibles/ costume run. But yeah very good considering I didn't like the films or know anything about the comics. Ran like ass on an original ps4 phatboy though lol.

@thefourfoldroot1 yeah old ps plus had set times and days. Ah well, like I say I've definitely got enough to keep me going.

I'll be playing the moving game all weekend. A fun little adventure where you pack up all your life's ***** into boxes. You then put them in a car whilst playing tetris with said boxes trying to maximise use of space and limiting trips, to move them to a smaller, yet more expensive, place, because your landlady is a bint and has decided to threaten you with homelessness and uproot you and your daughter's whole life for the sake of making a few pound.

Said it before, but I was so disappointed with this game. It is exactly the same as the first one. He has no distinction to play as minus the venom cheat mode. That said, if you enjoyed the first one (i loved it) and want more of the same, this is it.
Saying that, I am not a fan of the Miles Morales character anyway, he doesn't need to exist.

Guardians of the galaxy from extra. Played couple of hours, quite liking it so far and I didn't really like the films.
I like extra quite a lot it has to be said.

I enjoyed the vr (astro!) but can't say I spent a great deal of time with it and I'd imagine this would be a similar story.

Personally have little to no interest in anything that they release at this point. I think they absolutely peaked at uncharted 2 and haven't come close to it since.

Also for those who are asking for a longer rpg from them, some of their shorter games have bits that drag, a 100 hour rpg from nd would be downright painful in places.

Medievil from extra. Played it as a kid and got about as far as the 2nd level. Quite fun, but the camera, dear god.

@Royalblues Yeah it's strange. Just Embracer alone would be more of a monopoly than MS, and they are nowhere near that status. I'd absolutely expect this deal to go through, even if ms have to make some people's back pockets a bit heavier, but doubt it would even come to that.

@CielloArc Not yet at least, they have enough ip to do some kind of subscription option each, with more to come at a pretty steady pace.

@JustPlainLoco I mean I can't comment on the quality of Rare stuff as I only ever played Banjo at a mates house on N64, but that doesn't have much to do with this deal. If they buy the whole publisher and list of ip, it's theirs to do what they see fit with, if that means tucking it away in a vault never to be used again, so be it.

Embracer buy everything, no one cares.
Ms buy some ips that do well on other platforms and commit to still releasing them elsewhere, everyone loses their minds. Who cares?

@UltimateOtaku91 if stuff is cheaper to create for mobile and then also gives a bigger return, they will do that. Console games are a huge expense and the profits they make will be hitting the execs pockets, not further reinvestment.

@Dudeman1 if by "on the back burner" you mean a much spoken about remake of the first game, its port to pc, a seperate standalone multilayer coming, and a rv series to coincide with it all then yeah.

Days gone 2 should have been made instead of tlou remake imo. Much more deserving and Sony will be making money from the tv show anyway.
