The problem with the original wasn't it's looks it was it's over big and under filled levels and awkward controls.

I tried it twice and couldn't get into it and I'm massively into 3D platformers

I had no option for any amount, did an update and alas....no still no option. I'm based in UK.

Really hope it's a bug as been taking advantage of £5 rewards quite a bit.

Origins was superb. Legends was even better. Castle rock never fails to make me smile.

Rayman 2 was brilliant too. 1 was good but flawed and couldn't get into 3, it just felt.... off

Id hope if anyone would step into Lance Reddicks (very difficult to fill) shoes it should be David Harewood who took over the Mr Door role in Alan Wake 2 and did it superbly.

Anyone who played AW2 can testify to how good he was and in parts channeled Reddick superbly especially in one late game scene

I bought it digitally. By the time it's no longer available to me due to that I'm likely in a nursing home not knowing what day it is 😂

@mac_da_man plucky squire was great but 100% agree about pacing. Way too much stopping pointlessly to talk, too much hand holding.

Hoping they can make a second that has a leap like AC to AC2 where AC felt like a proof of concept for the sequel

Nikoderiko: The magical world. Only played about 90 mins but it's decent. Mixing DK country returns 2D levels and crash bandicoot style 3d sections (in same stages). It's not as good as Yooka-laylee and the impossible lair but I'm impressed so far.

Also enjoying Return of monkey island on plus. Again not too far in but loving the humour and don't mind the art style

@Fuzzymonkeyfunk I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked it. I got it not long after it came out and loved it. Great game. Shame it is almost certainly never going to get a follow up

I personally believe there's a massive amount of gamers who only have consoles or PC's to get the latest COD, FIFA, madden etc and aren't interested in new IP or anything fresh or innovative.

This trend will continue unfortunately

Uncharted 2 blew me away in 2009 and it's a game that will always stick with me and have a special nostalgia to it. This mario 64, ocarina of time, metal gear solid, soul reaver, the last of us, halo 1, god of war 2018. Arkham asylum, bioshock are all there too.

A masterpiece can get a little dated but if you played it when it was in it's prime you will always remember it

Alone in the dark is a poor mans silent hill unfortunately. It's not bad but it's buggy and not scary and quite a bit lacking in most departments

@mac_da_man astro bot was awesome. Got the platinum too and took many many attempts at the master challenge.

Terminator resistance was a really decent game. Great atmosphere. Decent story.

Plucky squire was great but I was expecting more. Too much talking. Too much hand holding. They seemed to go out of their way to drag the experience down

With the review bombing, last if us 2 backlash as they assumed Abby was trans and other petty stuff that's getting reported it makes you ashamed to be a gamer.

Seems there is a large amount of horribly petty gamers out there with too much time on their hands and nothing else going on in their lives. To paraphrase Buzz lightyear. 'You're a sad sad little group....and you have my pity'

@LikelySatan cheers. Appreciate that as can't find anything about patches online. That's the issue with indie games can be difficult to find if they are fixed or not. May have to get this today. If I do I guarantee it'll be on sale on Wednesday. If I don't get it it won't be lol

Knocking the price up like this is scummy as hell.

I think I claimed it when it was on the COVID free games but I'm unlikely to upgrade as just can't see replaying it.

For those complaining about them remastering it just realise no one is making you buy it

If I find myself with a lull of games I may replay it but likely not. I spent so much time on it in 2017. I couldn't get into forbidden west. Just can't see replaying this unless I have nothing else to play

I think making the original a Wii exclusive in 2010 was a mistake. It would have been better as a multiformat release.

My youngest is mad on the epic Mikey series and I recently played a bit of the Wii original and then the ps5 demo.

The PS5 version is better in every way as the camera and controls on the Wii original are so bad it's untrue

Not played this but it looks great (not voted obviously).
