Just finished the excellent Still Wakes the Deep. Now not 100% sure what to play

@sanderson72 dark alliance was superb. The water effects were amazing when it came out. I have it on PS5. May have to give it another go

I didn't finish this but enjoyed it. I vividly remember a side quest getting a blind man his missing eye only for him to see who you were are and condemn you

Stellar blade for me. Loved it.

TLOU 2 is so good that even as 4 year old game it was close.

From the small amount of play time I've had still wakes the deep is really good and would be in consideration.

Also had a blast on Dave the diver and hi-fi rush

@BecauseBecause yeah I check my wishlist. See one or 2 on sale but not big enough discount but then want to see if the rest is up in case something went under my radar is on sale but takes way too long to show all items. may have to wishlist everything I have even passing interest in lol

Looking at that list there are about 14 maybe 15 games I'd be interested in and a few I'd have to Google as not heard of.

The ones I really want are Astro bot, Star Wars outlaws, silent hill 2, the plucky squire, life is strange, epic Mikey are ones that really interest me. I won't believe wolf among us2 until it's actually out

Ones £3.50 new. Ones always on sale and already on extra. The other is a sports title that is niche outside of America and Canada and would have been bought already by anyone who wanted it

@sketchturner from what I've heard it's 60fps on consoles all except switch which is 30fps

@Pusher2021 I had to turn it off due to not wanting to see too much of it. Want it to be as new and surprising as possible when I play it in early September

I'll finally finish it this time, didn't on GameCube and barely played it on PS3 but now in a bit of a lull period for me it's come out at the right time

I genuinely can't wait for it. Loved Astros playroom. Always wanted to try rescue mission but never got VR as it never went cheap enough for me.

I don't get difficulty as a gameplay feature. Difficulty used to be something used to artificially increase the length of a game now it's a selling point.

If a game doesn't have difficulty options it's not for me.

Not interested in the grind. I don't see it as a badge of honour. My free time is already limited as it is without repeating the same stuff over n over

Re-playing Jedi survivor. Performance mode is so much better now. Just wish Beyond Good and Evil was available now instead of Tuesday

@Mirror_D_80s it may depend on licensing as Leslie Phillips did voice for the 2nd in UK and he's sadly passed away. Could cause issues if his estate refuses

Never played Gex 1 but played Gex 2 on PS1 and N64 and 3 on PS1. They were mid tier 3D platformers. Above Bubsy, croc, Tonic trouble, Jersey devil but way below mario, Banjo, Rayman 2 and spyro.

Nostalgia will play a big part in me resisting these

Before I got an N64 I was desperate for a 3d platformer on the PS1 after having tested Mario 64 at a game shop.

I was fooled into thinking Bubsy 3D may be worth it....how wrong I was. It had no redeeming features at all. It's painful to look at, listen to and play and I bet it fu*king stinks too to assault all the senses

I'll hold on for timesplitters 2. 1st one didn't have a good campaign. Fun as hell in battle mode with mates though

It was an ok game. It had lots of tech issues but it had a good atmosphere for the most part and that story kept me interested
