They're useful to me to give me something to focus on other than news and politics. I probably spend more time on gaming news than actually playing, which is fine. Focusing on some positive distraction part of the day is part of an overall healthy lifestyle.

Looks like something for everybody here. I already have Little Nightmares and the other 2 aren't my cup of tea, but can't complain. That's an excellent lineup.

Crash 4 and Stray made this a great month.

Stray makes it all worth it. I wonder if FF7 Intermission works on PS4?

@bindiana Yeah. Arcadedeggon isn't showing up at all. Usually I wait a few days or even a week til it gets sorted out because glitchiness is the norm.

I like it. I extended my psnow sub just in time, and I'm happy with some of the big recent first party titles on there. Also Uncharted lost legacy. I never really wanted to buy it, just play through it at some point. Well here we go.

It seems to be a game made for enthusiasts by enthusiasts and completely leaves out people who just want to have some rad futuristic fun. Still hoping for a sequel to Fast RMX.

@LP09 Yeah it feels like early Netflix. Where it's really impressive the first few years, but then it's more enjoyable to focus on just the best of what you want which often aren't on whatever subscriptions you have currently.

I have a year of psnow stacked, so I'll be giving Premium a good try. Honestly though, I'm probably better off just being really picky about the games I buy. I've only got so much time and drive for gaming. And the indies I'm really interested in rarely show up on things like psnow or plus so I end up having to buy those anyway.

These things are always so fun.

I'm all in favor of refinement. This looks good. Windbound didn't do it for me, I don't care for procedurally generated worlds, too much crafting, and not so great combat. So hopefully this fills that Wind Waker shaped hole in my heart.

Eh, it's like Disney pouring enormous amounts of money into things that aren't interesting anymore.

@NinjaWaddleDee same. I assume it's going to be a style over substance grindfest like Genshin Impact since that's their business model.

Still working on that Kaze and the Wild Masks world 4 boss. Frustrating as all heck.

They're still making Sega Genesis cartridges, so my PS4 should be safe for a while.

Now would have been a good release time, far enough away from Elden Ring. Just in time for summer questing.

Kaze and Ni No Kuni II are my main games this weekend. Looks like lots of rain so time for something colorful!

I've played this a bit on my RetroPie. Impressive for the hardware at the time. I would've liked it if I had it back then. But not really worth buying or playing today. As with most retro re releases, it's for sitting on a shelf and burning money.

Is there really any demand for all these games to be turned into movies?

@Mauzuri funny you should mention that. I thought DQ11 was alright. Not impressive, but playable, but with baaad music. But I agree there seems to be a "JRPG pass" when it comes to criticism of new entries into beloved old franchises.

I was too apprehensive to buy Wilds, so I'm glad to see this. Savage Planet was good fun til I got stuck and stopped caring.

I don't understand all the love for this game. I got it due to all the hype and, idk man... stiff animation, mediocre gameplay and everything else. Terrible dialogue. Very repetitive. It's not outright bad, but I just don't get it. Everything about it feels "bargain bin".

Well shucks. My ps+ already expired and now I'm just waiting for the remainder of my psnow to get converted to ps+ premium in June. I'll miss out on a few. This is one I'd actually have played instead of most ps+ games the past year.

@Johnnycide yeah, Wattam was quite the let down.

These services are a good deal for someone who doesn't already have a backlog. And for retro stuff, as usual you're better off just putting together a good emulation setup yourself.

@Grimwood Netflix has a few gems, though. Worth having for 2 months a year, I'd say.

10 years? Wow! Played through it multiple times and enjoyed it every time.

@Ken_Kaniff yeah it's kind of a disappointment. I don't have time for a bunch of "okay" big games, and the indies that show up are either meh, old, or available for a very short time.

I'm leaning away from game subscriptions. 9 times out of 10 they're games I have zero interest in anyway. Better off just being more careful about what I buy.

I bet the Avengers flop did hurt it. Also it wasn't released while any Guardians of the Galaxy movie was in theaters, so they didn't get that promotional bump. Or maybe they just have too high of expectations.

Neat! There's a number of free costumes on the store I wasn't aware of. Cute.

I'm fine with it. They supported the PS3 a long time and I got lots of use and fun out of it. Old purchases are still downloadable.

Hopefully Death Squared is fun. I did get PSNow on quite the sale last year, so I can't complain. But for people who are not into GTA, this is not impressive in the slightest.

Hopefully people are still playing it when I do eventually get a PS5.

@Twixmix42 to me, the idea of a mini-game isn't a bad thing. As if I have time for more big stuff. But I've got no interest in Borderlands anything and Tina is an annoying character to begin with.

So yeah, a crappy month as a PS4 owner.

One of my first and one of my favorite ps4 games. Some serious frustrations here and there, but it's uniqueness outweighs them. A lock on function would have fixed combat.

Semi - monopolies everywhere in our economy. Ah well. It's out of my control. Not like i need games to live.

Saw a speedrun of this on pc. Looks good but they may have abandoned the ps4 port.

As Ps4 player, only FF7R and Concrete Genie were enjoyable to me. And maybe I'll give Control another shot. Most was just not my cup of tea.

That sounds good. I like streamlined guides in games rather than having to look up guides and help on my phone.
