@Tecinthebrain the difference is Anthem sold 5 million copies so its common and readily available. scarcity is what can drive value of alot of games and a physical copy of concord will be rare.

now if you cant actually play it me personally i cant see the value in that

@ProfessorNiggle A very dumb decision to can a game rather than hand it off to another studio to run it. imagine if Firewalk was running faction 2 now rather than wasting time and money on this that would be a completely different story than this failure

Naughty dog didnt have to run the game they have already made it then get a studio like Firewalk to run it and make content for it. leaving naughty do to make LOU3

@Skywardx the thing thats even more concerning they decided to buy the studio in 2023 when they must have known full well what Concord was. what were they thinking ? let alone cancelling it they doubled down and thought it was so good we'll buy the studio

the concerning thing is their research seems to be leading them to the wrong choices. they cancelled Last of us factions 2 i can tell you with no market research at all factions 2 would have succeeded due to the IPs popularity and it being different than alot of games out there. now how long and how big multiplayer factions would be is a different matter but it was an infinitely better bet than Concord

@KundaliniRising333 69 average on metacritic from 21 critic reviews isnt terrible its average. higher average score on Metacritic than concord but yet concord scored higher on here.

push square always seem to score games differently than the norm

will wait for other reviews push square review scores frankly arnt all that reliable

theres going to be big consequences for this failure because of the hundreds of millions spent on this and buying the studio

what will happen to Firewalk ?

xbox will be the first to go

then PlayStation

Nintendo will be the last console standing

and throughout it all pc will remain

they are going to price it as digital console because it then makes customers the price isnt that bad compared to a disc slim

i do find it odd that majority want a disc drive but 80% of game sales on PlayStation are digital.

just completed MGS4 again on PS3 great game.

having just played it dont think it needs a remake just a remaster. the story does a great job of wrapping up the saga and the cutscenes still look great for a 2008 game.

AA is the way to go for gaming

@Stevemalkpus Machine games make first person shooters using the first person IDtech engine Doom uses thats why its first person

mainly the reason its first person is machine games use the IDtech engine that Wolfenstein and Doom use and thats a first person engine

maybe they made it first person because they didnt want to be accused of making an uncharted clone despite the fact that there were indiana jones games long before there were uncharted games

machine games did an excellent job with the Wolfenstein games so looking forward to this

what do they do with Firewalk after this? they wont shut them as they just bought the studio but you cant trust them to make their own game anymore. support studio maybe

thats probably 300 million wasted in buying firewalk and the cost of making this game

factions 2 would have done better than this

looking forward to lost records bloom and rage as well

im looking forward to this and an optimistic for a good AA blooper game.

sorry to say but from me playing both Betas time would have been better spent on something else.

its not terrible its just not anything particularly good, different, new or interesting.

journey to the savage planet is a great ps4 game with free ps5 upgrade as well that includes the dlc
