Previous games were:

God of War

The Last of Us Part 2
Ghost of Tsushima
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
Horizon Forbidden West
and God of War Ragnarok.
@get2sammyb I've been saying this for months but honestly some of the commenters are so narrow-minded in their views that they won't give any game a chance as long as it's a SP game, and even then they will find some excuse.
I think the more pertinent question is, will GTA 6 cost more then $70. Some outlets have rumoured that it might well be, and GTA is probably the one IP that can get away with it.
That explains why there's been queues every time I've logged on. Fortnite doesn't get enough credit from the core gaming community for the way it keeps players engaged with quests, events and content.
Personally I would like to see a expansion or standalone game where you play as Thrúd (Thor's daughter) because I felt she was cool, plus I want to use the hammer dammit.
@JSnow2 Well Naughty Dog did the same to Bend Studio back in the Vita days. Besides your assuming that Bungie themselves acted alone...they wouldn't have done, Sony would have final say. Plus there's no way of knowing what state the game was in.
Hopefully Bungie are learning valuable lessons so that Marathon doesn't have the same convoluted and expensive business model as Destiny 2. Because if not and the game tanks then Sony may well have to either A) Sell Bungie onto someone else or B) Take on a more hands on approach and turn them much more into a 1st party studio.
10/10. It improves on every aspect of the previous two. Web wings never get boring, side missions are way more memorable, gadgets been part of the UI mean they get used more often, and main story had the right amount of pace. What I would love to see now is a Black Cat expansion and a Venom spin off game...other then that...bring on Logan.
@OnceaThief Jim Ryan has been with PlayStation for pretty much the same length of time yet many seem to be happy about him leaving. These people were never going to stay forever.
@ShogunRok Good shout on the shareholders comment, because unlike companies like Sony who have other business interests, EA only sell games.
@Powerplay94 I got it for my birthday so I couldn't judge it on full price value. But I really enjoyed it, was very faithful to the original while fixing what was needed and adding new elements that add to the story.
@Powerplay94 Job advertisement basically. If a game gets announced and it's nothing more then just a logo then in all likelihood it's a company's public way of recruiting.
I hope Motive and EA have a team that's doing a Dead Space 2 remake, they did such a great job with the first one.
That whole puddlegate nonsense was such an absolute joke that I was shocked that some on here who I regarded as having intelligent opinions were giving the nothing burger credence. And people still haven't learned their lesson. Some are still complaining about SM2's graphics because they can't get their heads around how natural lighting looks. I would like to see more devs react like this because they work their arses off for years going through goodness knows how much stress in an industry with an appalling job retention record, only to have their work nitpicked to death by armchair developers on Twitter and comment pages every time their game gets previewed.
Before the reviews I predicted that PS would give it 9/10 and Eurogamer would give it 3 stars. Result: Push Square 8/10, Eurogamer 4 Stars. In other words I can't predict s***
@Sakai Your acting like there was some magical contract out that guaranteed all ABK games on PlayStation which there wasn't.
If it weren't for Jim Ryan fighting the merger (like he was supposed too) MS wouldn't have started throwing around ten year contracts just to please everyone.
Stop been clouded over your weird hatred for a man you don't know.
People like to take these reports as the 100% truth when it's far more complicated then that. Also stop we should stop blaming Bungie when we don't know what state the game was in, how much it cost etc. If these last few articles have told us anything is that most have no business acumen. You demand more SP games but there costing over 200m (because we demand lots of content with top quality graphics) to make which lack long term revenue streams. We also demand "new IP" but apparently not if it's a live service like it's some genre. Sony have said in interviews that they are not making 10 Fortnites like some seem to think they are, plus they want to be less relying on 3rd party revenue to prop up their business which is smart considering the way the industry is going.
I reckon over 90% of people have moved over to GT7 by now at least. Plus all of Sport's content is on 7 anyway.
No doubt people will all of a sudden care about GT Sport like they did with Gravity Rush 2 and Everybody's golf, if it mean they can regurgitate the "Sony are anti consumer" comment.
@get2sammyb An article idea I've thought of that could be interesting is looking over potential candidates for the job. There's the obvious ones like Yoshida and Herman Hulst but could throw in some fun ones just to get the discussion going.
@DiggleDog Which was taken completely out of context but everyone just decided to make their mind up on him without fact checking. @Sequel That's assuming that they were off track in the first place. The guy has been at the company for 30 years, he just decided to retire, simple as that.
No doubt people will jump to conclusions but facts are the man has worked at SIE for 30 years now. And regardless of what you think of him he played a key role in helping Playstation become a force in Europe. Also let's not get things into our heads that it means Sony's live service push ends with him...it simply won't.
I still honestly don't get what Jim Ryan has done to get the vitriol he gets. It seems to come from people who misunderstand out of context quotes he says.
Also if these hackers end up posting details about Playstation's business such as hardware reveals and games in development, I hope Push Square decide not to publish it. These t***s only want attention so best not give it to them.
@invictus4000 There largely still been faithful to the original story but want to expand on it in interesting ways(such as Zack's timeline.) Since a lot of the developers that made the original are working on the remake, I think it's fair for them to do that since it's a bit of a tall ask for them to spend ten years of their career to remake something they did nearly 30 years ago.

Re: Here's How PS5 Will Help You Become Na'Vi in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
I obviously see why people think of Far Cry but I just find it ironic that it's not the FC devs that are behind it. It's the Division studio.
Re: Larian's Xbox Series S Optimization Efforts May Benefit Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5
@species mate I put a wink emoji on my original comment. It isn't that serious.
Re: Larian's Xbox Series S Optimization Efforts May Benefit Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5
@Sil_Am This.
Re: Larian's Xbox Series S Optimization Efforts May Benefit Baldur's Gate 3 on PS5
It already did benefit PS5 because of Series S, cos it made BG3 a timed exclusive
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Dominates Golden Joystick Awards, Wins Game of the Year
@ShogunRok Yeah the cutoff dates are weird.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Dominates Golden Joystick Awards, Wins Game of the Year
@evan23 I don't think Spider-Man 2 was in the running. Otherwise I think that would have comfortably won.

Re: Sony Delays Six Live Service PS5 Games, But Company Remains Committed to Model
And some hoped that Sony were straight up cancelling them...not a chance, they have put a lot of time and money into them to just abandon them.
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Sales Swing Past Amazing 5 Million Units Milestone
People really are taken that "Miles" comment out of context. If you finished the game, you should have a good idea where the third game is going.

Can't wait for the Zelda game based on the movie to come to PS5.

Re: Poll: Spider-Man 2 PS5 Bugs are Apparently a Real Problem, But Have You Had Any?
I think these things get overblown, every game has bugs there just not game breaking. The most SM2 has is the odd typical open world jank.
