Re: Prospective PS6 Purchasers Would Consider a Portable Model

@twenty90seven While your not wrong, I would also say the Steam Deck too because that showed you can make a portable without it needing it's own games for it to sell.
A new PSP would need to be native to really take off, it would need to play PS4 games natively and stream PS5/6 games (can't see tech advancing enough for native PS5)
It would also be a way to get a bigger foothold into the Japanese market with them far more into portable gaming.
They could potentially do another Portal later on for a cheaper price as an option.

@get2sammyb It does make a bit of sense when you look at it this way.
An Horizon series was in the works till unforseen circumstances happened. So this would have been a product to sell next to it.
It's also an opportunity to give younger developers a chance on a bigger project rather then throwing them in at the deep end.
And it fills up gaps in their release schedules.

"Waste of resources" people really have become experts at how to run multiple games studios now. I guarantee that these remasters wouldn't make new games come any quicker. I mean we just had Astro Bot with Lego Horizon coming in November, so this idea that we're starved of new games has no merit.

It'll be interesting to see whether if it brings the graphics more in line with Forbidden West.
Also Sony's remasters tended to add something extra on like Ghost of Tsushima had an expansion, Death Stranding had new items a new mission and a race track. While TLOU2 got a roguelike mode, so I wonder if HZD gets anything.
