Liked Jusant and I loved Game Bakers previous efforts so this will be a no brainer.

This is a guy who has been regularly mocked online for being very defensive of Xbox. He belongs in the same category as Destin Legarie and Parris Lilly as guys who claim to be "neutral" but very often have been pro Xbox and often advocated for Acquisitions in the name of "competition".
Their opinions aren't worth the crap your dog leaves on their walks.

If their already teasing a new game then Sony must have overwhelming confidence in it.

Since when was the green ranger "controversial?" I think the writer preferred it when the red ranger was the leader.

Most games aren't in a great state during development, you'd be surprised how often that is the case.
God of War wasn't well received by Shuei Yoshida in 2016 yet look how that turned out.
The Last of Us only came together one month out from launch to give another example.

Not interested in playing him in the slightest but kudos to Capcom for having the collection as feature completed as possible.

@Leon_93 That's what I'm hoping for, I think nearly every Castlevania game has been rereleased in recent times so here's hoping.

@Mortal Most people don't want to mess around with an emulator.
When the Marvel Vs Capcom collection was announced I had a look at how much it would cost me to get these games on original hardware from eBay and it came to £650, heck people actually spent around $400 to get an arcade cabinet with those titles. So to get these games now for just £40 is a steal.

Will be getting both physical and digital version, it's a collection I always wanted.

People won't care if it's a State of Play or a showcase as long as the content is good.
But if Sony decide not to show a more extensive roadmap then we need to accept at this point that Sony are doing things differently this gen in terms what games there willing to show.
First half of this year they were focusing on Rise of the Ronin, Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade and Final fantasy 7 rebirth. The second...Concord, Astro Bot, Until Dawn and Lego Horizon. In other words, games that are just a few months out.

Ah those mid 90s weekday mornings of watching Power Rangers before school and wanting to emulate them with my mates...only for Mr Motivator to tell us "NOT TO COPY THEM."

Every episode will be "product placement" these companies wouldn't give out their IPs for artistic reasons alone.
The secret level episode could be an opportunity actually, if it's well received it might get the game some momentum or a possible way to take the franchise forward.

@Toot1st I'd be surprised if that happened, most of those things you mentioned are just catering to a preexisting player base. It would have to make up nearly 9 billion on top of the base revenue, plus we don't know what Sony's output for 2025 is going to be.

People obsess over steam player numbers too much. I turned cross play off and have no problem finding matches.

Top 5 gaming companies by revenue according to Wikipedia are:

4. NetEase Games $11.5 billion
5. Nintendo $10.8 billion

I've read that the game has vibes of the PS3 Chronicles of Riddick games which I find intriguing.
The easiest thing for Machine Games to have done was just do an Uncharted like 3rd person game, which would have been fine but the comparisons would be very unfavorable.
At least here they are doing something different.

@RoomWithaMoose Sony tried making those smaller games but guess what? They didn't sell either. Just because there smaller games and apparently have more "creativity" doesn't guarantee the kind of profits that Sony are needing. HI-FI Rush was a perfect example of that last year, fit the mold of a "smaller" game but it still took 4 years and a near AAA budget.

I could say the same for OW's cast...gruff soldier guy, a grim reaper who they imaginatively called Reaper, Beast from the X-men except he's gorilla and Clint Eastwood Cowboy.

@NEStalgia Considering Concord looks nothing like Fortnite your argument falls flat.

I've not heard one compelling argument about why the character designs are "ugly". Is it because certain people just want all gaming characters to look hot or something?

@Gaia093 I'm only missing Nekomata and Lycaon for my agents now and the only money I've spent is on the city fund battle pass cos I was able to max it out so might as well.
But yeah I can't wait to see the Sons of Calaydon get properly introduced.

@Gaia093 I've been incredibly lucky with my pulls so far. Will have close to 150 tapes ready for when Jane comes out. Hopefully my luck holds out for Burnice and Caesar release.

@RBMango Yeah the rise of the Pakistan Tekken community over the last ten years has been mental.

The first game is currently in the top ten in the UK on PSN, so it seems to be getting good play time.

@Flaming_Kaiser I know right? Ever since Smash Bros Ultimate it's been my "dream game" because Smash was such a love letter to it's characters and worlds. But I didn't have nostalgia for Nintendo hence why I want a PlayStation equivalent or at least something in the same spirit.

Love how he's suggesting that other platform holders are doing the same yet I'd bet my house that if Sony and Nintendo had Indiana Jones they wouldn't port to a competing platform. I'd have a crumb of respect for the guy if he just admitted that "consoles sales are tanking and Game Pass subs have ground to a halt so the top brass have told us to sell our games elsewhere" because that's far more closer to the truth.

Just shows that despite all his corporate speak, old uncle Phil wanted exclusives all along. If he had his way, IPs like Doom, Indiana Jones and Elder Scrolls wouldn't go anywhere near a PlayStation. In a way, them buying Activision was a blessing because now Microsoft have taken over and have realized what a lot of us have said for the last 15 years. That not enough people want an Xbox at the expense of PlayStation and Nintendo consoles, so they might as well go 3rd party.

I'm intrigued by that PlayStation episode. If nothing else it'll be an excuse to demand a new PlayStation AllStars game.

No Astro Bot, Lego Horizon and Death Stranding 2 tonight but does give hope for September showcase.

Can't believe I got the dragon question wrong, I went with Insomniac but forgot about Spyro.

Working my way through Zenless Zone Zero's 1.1 update. Been lucky with pulling the S rank agents so far, so I'm saving up to try and get Jane Doe.

Been keeping an eye on this for awhile, chances are that the majority of these games wouldn't get rereleased, let alone bought in decent amounts.

@Brawl4002 Yeah I was surprised at how good it looked, I think it's cool that everything in the game world is made of Lego.
@OldGamer999 November is not a bad shout, they certainly will want it out in decent time for Christmas.

@OldGamer999 I think it's because Astro Bot overshadows it quite a bit.

I would like to see more of Lego Horizon... don't need to see Astro as my mind was made a millisecond into it's reveal trailer.
As for others I want more updates on Marvel Rivals and Dune Awakening.

Will be nice to play one of these games without the pressing need to finish a Battle Pass.

@LifeGirl The vast majority of horror games over the past ten years have taken elements or downright all of what made PT special, including the first person Resident Evil games.

@trev666 Probably because the external studio would have to learn ND's engine and that would have took a lot of time. Plus there was no guarantee a studio was out there to do the job in the first place, even Sony's own support studios would have been on other projects.

I remember when PS said PT was one of the goty and got dumped on by many commenters because it was seen as just "a demo" but time has proven PS to be right.
PT has to be one of the most influential games in the past decade.
