@ShogunRok you ever felt tired (overwhelmed maybe)? you played P3&P4 remastered and P3R in a pretty short period and now Metaphor with a very similar structure. I'm talking about managing those social links and doing all those character activities and then suffering some of the most boring dungeons ever. feels terrible even if you love these games.
Valkyrie Profile 2 on PS2 and a 14" CRT with MONO audio! this game, FFXII and Haunting Ground look and feel amazing still. these are on the list too: Tomb Raider Anniversary, Hitman Blood Money, Genji, Fatal Frame 3, Code Veronica, Magna Carta Tears of Blood (anybody knows this one? never finished it back then).
it's not terrible but when you look at what From made before and after this game, you see that the art direction is lacking or missing.
still the best npc is there; Aldia, scholar of the first sin, a heavy metal god: "beyond the scope of light, beyond the reach of dark, what could possibly await us?..."
@ShogunRok I know the quizmaster and I appreciate your dedication to this fun feature. that would be funny if you ended up #1 on the leaderboard every time!
I'm playing Subnautica. staying alive in these games is much more difficult than in real life. managing oxygen, hunger, inventory, making new batteries... very painful. I've found a lot of cool blueprints but making them looks impossible. these survival games can get boring real fast. the fans are really patient and must love the game so much. I was thinking about No Man's Sky but now I'm not sure anymore. I don't have the fortitude required.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 looked promising, kinda new, fresh or something.
I also liked Wuchang - not to be confused with Wolong or Wukong - and Metaphor: ReFantazio (which I can't understand the meaning of the name. my bad English).
after finishing Dark Souls 3 with my 4th character, I went back to Dark Souls 3 with my 1st character, NG+6. it was more like a boss rush mode. everything was fine until Gael. took me 3hrs to beat him 😅. GoodGame
@Max_the_German same, I never played a Metro and I'm curious about Exodus. they say (on reddit and steam) it's immersive, atmospheric, fantastic... but the dlc aren't that good. so what should we do?!
Dark Souls Remastered.
it's been a while since I visited Lordran; maybe 10 years. I had forgotten how terrible the weapon upgrade and equipment load were in this game. pretty much everything about this game feels old.
still an iconic and unforgettable game and much, much better than dark souls 2.
his voice and performance was the best part of Max Payne games for me. "Einstein was right. Time is relative to the observer. When you're looking down the barrel of a gun time slows down, your whole life flashes by, heartbreak and scars."
I saw it first on Epic store and then checked youtube, this game supports Persian language. if I'm not wrong, it's the first ever game from a major publisher with Persian localization. I'm not a fan of the series and Ubi but this is really appreciated. great support/accessibility for a small population.
"an ever-changing experience loaded with new content every single week"... but these can't compete with atmospheric, storytelling experiences like FF7, RE1, MGS1 and so on; games WE played as kids. ...time changes anyway.
@naruball I mean the way they put 'Question' above the information they share. are they answering actual questions people have? seriously? that's very nice.
I'm more worried about the narrative (time travel / flashback / flashforward...) than world structure and traversal. a cohesive story is much better than (possibly) convoluted timelines; obviously.
@ShogunRok are YOU going to review all of them?! can't say I'm jealous. you're doing this for us, Thanks. "No real characters", I remember this one. it is a tough game.
I'm playing Minesweeper at the moment. I hate this game. those 50/50s... my best time is 247s. challenge me. also Octopath 2 demo. very good so far. the fact that cutscenes are fully voiced made my day. I'm lazy.
@ShogunRok how long to finish and review both 3&4?! nice job and thanks as always. I love the blue-haired, headphone-wearing male lead of P3. he is my favourite silent hero ever. P3 characters, story and general atmosphere are the best.

Re: Enticing Action RPG REYNATIS Hits PS5, PS4 in September
@AndyKazama I played the demo for Monark and Crymachina. both were boring (hope you enjoyed if you played them). this one looks good. I'm interested.
Re: Poll: What Do You Think of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's Ending?
the scene didn't have the impact (or shock) of the original.
the whole story is disappointingly convoluted.

@Max_the_German same, I never played a Metro and I'm curious about Exodus. they say (on reddit and steam) it's immersive, atmospheric, fantastic... but the dlc aren't that good.
so what should we do?!

first one was kinda relaxing for me; I don't know why. I loved it.
Re: Cult Classic Shadows of the Damned Gets Hella Remastered for PS5, PS4
@ATaco same. I remember there was a boss that you had to shoot his brain, the brain was dragging on the floor behind him. that guy freaked me out.
Re: Cult Classic Shadows of the Damned Gets Hella Remastered for PS5, PS4
cool, this and Lollipop, so why not Killer7 Suda51? such a weird and unique game.

50 games - 855 Hours
1. Mass Effect trilogy - 110h
2. Borderlands 3 (can't remember)
3. Code Vein (didn't even like it)
4. Samurai Warriors 5 (too grindy)
5. 13 Sentinels (good story, bad combat)
