Over the moon with Veilguard! Between Ragnarok, Lost Record and Dragons Age I feel ive got my money's worth all ready out of ps plus and it's only February. Unreal

After initially loving Alan Wake 2 in the first few hours it's beginning to wear me down a bit. It started off incredible but the Alan Wake chapters and terrible combat are becoming a drag which is a shame. Feel they should have just stuck with Saga's chapters as I am still really enjoying them.

I wouldn't get your knickers in a twist over other people's opinions if they think its rubbish who cares move on, if they love it good for them. Either way you know your own truth and move forward.

Just bought a Portal this last weekend there and have to say I absolutely love the thing. Can see cloud steaming shifting a fair few more units feels that's a massive update.

Nice been looking for a reason to play Resi 7 again and if psvr2 support is in then I'll be all over this. Parts of that game were absolutely terrifying on flat screen so can only imagine vr 😅

Picked a psvr2 up the last couple of months when it went down to £350 and honestly evey time I stick it on it blows my mind. This along with Metro, Alien Rogue Incursion and Behemoth are still to look forward to and that's on top of 7 or 8 great older games to get through. Couldn't imagine not having a VR headset going forward now.

@zupertramp it's funny my initial comment mentioned I wasn't a fan of the super shot either but of course that was brushed a side.

Fifa 22 was the first I bought in years because new features sounded great. I honestly don't think there's enough in there to merit a purchase.

I have no interest in womans football the same way I have no interest in men's volleyball or dog's show jumping doesn't mean I don't respect their athleticism or skill. Why would I want to pay £70 for new features I'll never use? Woe is the perpetually offended.

@Stocksy No, the article is nothing to do with inclusion. Woman's teams have been included in fifa since 2016 this is nothing new. I am only saying the new features of woman's mo cap and the power shot (which men get as well by the way) don't appeal to me so I'll stick with fifa 22. Its only my opinion, no need to get worked up and jump on your gender equality high horse.

@AJ1 Agreed, that was a very poor show.

Started Guardians of the Galaxy this week, seems okay so far but very basic and the constant banter is grating on me. Hopefully it clicks and I start to see what everyone else is loving about it. Also got Deliver Us The Moon on the go which is good for a change of pace and some peace and quiet.

@gbanas92 Yeah it felt like such a strange design choice in a game where you have to face the same boss countless times to learn patterns and weaknesses. Just left no room for experimentation.

@Elodin That's good to know, I'll get round to playing Elden Ring eventually then.

I'll jump back into Reutnal tonight and try make a bit more progress!

@Elodin I really want to stick with it because the highs are massive but the lows are awful. I think I wil need to have another game on the go at the same time to break up the repition.

Also is Elden Ring like Bloodborne were if you happen to use all your health potions and items and die on a boss fight when you go back to your last saveall your resources are gone? Would like to give Elden Ring a try but that really annoyed me in Bloodborne.

I feel like I am on a similar journey with Returnal at the moment. Went from really enjoying the first hour to absolutely hating it the next 6 hours and now after defeating the first boss I am back to enjoying it but also dreading whats to come.

@Ryany Yeah it's definetly not for me. Made me question why I enjoy gaming at all to be honest haha.

Despite not really fancying Returnal when it was released I gave it a go as its on the new Plus. Turns out dying repeatedly and wasting hours with out any progress is about as fun as it sounds.

First game me and my bro got for the playstation. Need to give this a bash for the nostalgia, can't wait!

If the revenue generated from live service games and mobile mean Sony can eventually afford to release first party games day and date on PS Plus am all for it.

Hoping they include the old tomb raider games on ps plus premium at some point. Don't think I ever got round to Last Revelation or Chronicles.

Am delighted with this! Just having Returnal, Ghost, Demon Souls and Death Stranding on there pretty much covers the year subscription. Hopefully they hang around long enough to get through them all.

After really enjoying Shadow Warrior 3 I decided to finally give Doom a try last night. Wow, first mission down and I am hooked.

Yep definetly my worst score yet, 5/15. Great fun though.

I can see this being a Fifa lite version that only includes online play or something similar. Great month overall though!

I did initially think with Resident Evil Village a winter release would benefit the atmosphere. However I feel games are just so immersive these days It doesn't matter when you play them. Dark room and headphones on and I am instantly transported to the time and place in the game. It's interesting to think if the season a game is released is something that game publishers take into consideration to add to the atmosphere.

@SystemAddict By that logic would you have preferred if Horizon Forbidden West was delayed till the summer?

Ah yes! Was hoping for a Summer release as the schedule is a bit barren but I've got more than enough to get me through till October.

I really despise the Deadpool sense of humour but I'll give this a go if it's on Ps Now. Hopefully be decent enough for some brainless filler.

Happy with Ghost Runner! I was playing it on PS Now when they took it off without any warning. Anyone know if the ps4 saves transfer to the Ps5 version?

Yep HFW for me. Only a few hours in but loving it so far. Saw the Digital Foundry guys were recommending playing it on 30fps graphic mode, gave this a try but lasted 5 minutes with it. Just too sluggish felt like I was stuck in last gen. Switched to 60fps and what a difference there's no going back for me. Graphics are still absolutely incredible.

Been playing through the Vanguard campaign. First Cod I've played since MW2 and really enjoying it. Turned all aim assistance off and playing on hardened which is making for some really tense fights. The graphics are outstanding in some scenes. Should wrap it up this week in time for HFW.

Been playing through Ghost Runner the last few days from Ps Now. Having a great time with it.Its definetly challenging in parts but its scratching that "one more go" itch similar to Celeste.

@ScottyG Well that is true, it may be the case that I have checked it out while there isn't a great deal that interests me. I'll keep that in mind and check back in on it every few months or so. I've been asking myself if game pass magically appeared on PlayStation tomorrow would I subscribe and yeah to be honest I probably would. I think it's the thought of spending another £250 - £450 for an XSS or XSX that makes it less appealing at the moment. So for me to suggest it isn't a good service is probably a bit harsh.

For the first time this generation it crossed my mind I may have to buy an Xbox just for game pass. After flicking through the catalogue this morning I have to admit I was pretty underwhelmed, maybe 4-5 that interested me. I'm sure it will be a decent service in 2-3 years time but right now I'm happy to stick with Ps5.

I really enjoy both Ps Plus and Ps Now as they are just now. If Sony could offer a few launch day 3rd party games and some sort of mobile streaming service were you could play PS Now content on your phone I'd be all over this as I am spending more time away from home at the weekends. Would be a huge incentive for me to pay for the premium tier.

Just played Fallen Order Ps5 version over the Christmas holidays and it's up there with Resi Village as my favourite game of the year. Really looking forward to a sequel.
