@Godot25 Yea Its crazy. Theirs no way Sony can stay at the top forever with that kind of output from MS. Hell I haven't had an Xbox since the 360 and im even starting to pique over the fence, lol.

Yea and there co-developing and an Xbox game. Man MS isn't playing around anyone. They have so much in development it's almost overwhelming. Sonys output is almost laughable now in comparison.

God I want to see Embracer fall. I'll never and I repeat ever buy anything published by them again.

I mean...thats a nice gesture and certainly helps this to not be a never play, but the style of game it is just isn't for me. Maybe I'll try it out one day when I can get it for a deep discount. Plus it depends on how grindy the platinum is of course, lol.

Not that you'll care because it seems you're happy with whatever you get, but we are going into year 4 of the PS5 gen and over half of Sonys studios haven't even released one game. I dont know about you, but I don't buy one console to just play games I could play anywhere else eventually. So yes me personally I'm not happy with Sonys output atm, but to each his own. 🤷‍♂️

@MrMagic Release dates for what.....Concord???? Because that's the only first party game I see. Do not mention Stellar Blade/Rise of the Ronin or any other 3RD PARTY game Sony pays to mask as a timed first party game. I am talking 1st party ONLY.

How much you wanna bet its just 15 games that are already announced, and if there is something new don't expect to hear anything new from Sonys first parties.

Franchise is way too over saturated for me to ever feel like jumping in.

Good to know. Because some of these fighting games trophy requirements are ridiculous. I like playing them for nostalgic reasons, but don't want to be made to be a master class at the game for a platinum.

I'm not surprised. Their games are a dated looking buggy mess. I wouldn't want to publish anything from them.

Yet this fan base will glady open there wallets to support this franchise. So why wouldn't Sega do it.

They do this because they know the sheep will gladly open their wallets for this content that should already be in the game.

The game is going to fail and will probably see it on Plus within the first year. Nobody wants these type of games anymore.

You can see Microsoft slowly shifting more into a publisher and less worried about the console race. I think its cool. I'd love to play some Halo or Gears of War on PS5.

@naruball I'm not saying the few games they've put out are trash, but the amount is. 2023 for example had one first party game release and this year looks even worse.

@TrickyDicky99 You nailed it. The first party output the last two years has been trash, and the pivot to GaaS will make the years to come even worse.

Yea I purchased Bill & Ted before it was delisted and didn't receive anything. I opened a ticket with customer service and the way the rep was talking it sounded like it's a wide spread thing.

@nomither6 lol yea but that 50 million is from them riding off the good will from the PS4. Between now and 2027 or whenever the PS6 comes out I have a feeling MS will start to sway to market there way. Like I said in my OP it's this is the first time in 10 years I'm starting to look over the fence.

@nomither6 I couldn't have said it better myself. PS5 is definitely the worst generation so far, and looking ahead it seems it will only get worse.

I dont care what add ons they do. This game felt repetitive and stale after awhile. Pretty much par for the course with a live service game.

F.E.A.R. 3 and Gotham Knights.

I think Bend Studio's is my favorite.

@zhoont I wouldn't hold my breath. You won't see that version of Sony again till the pendulum starts to swing back in Microsofts direction. Which I do predict will happen by the end of this generation with the amount of exclusives MS will have compared to Sony.

@Porco I agree, and I guess Sony will just have to learn there lesson the hard way. I believe this is just the beginning. Imo Fairgames and Concord will probably both fail as well. Sony will definitely lose alot of ground to MS over the next five years. They will have droves of exclusives while the Sony faithful probably get maybe one single player game a year. What Sony has put out up till last year was the tail end of Shawn Laydens time. This year was a joke with just Spiderman coming from Sonys first party studios and I fear it will be worse in the coming years. Like you said the effect Ryan had on Sony will be seen over the next few years.

It's music to my ears. The more of these live service games that die the better. Single player through and through!

They'll have regrets when they see how few amount of copies they sell.
