I’m in chapter 2 of RDR2. Not really feeling it, but I think I’ll keep at it. I’m sure it’ll click at some point

I just started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 days ago so I’ll be playing that. I’ve never played it before and the only thing I knew about it going in was it’s a western game. Having a little trouble with the controls, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it

I think I’ll buy Forspoken, but I wonder what the chances are of it coming to PS Plus essential this year. It seems like the kind of title they’d add

Am I right in saying FC24 doesn’t have the J-league? That sucks, because it’s the only league I watch. They have the K-league and Chinese league, but not the J-league. Guess they couldn’t get licensing or something

I’ve never played anything Silent Hill so I’m looking forward to jumping in with this. The only thing I know about Silent Hill is that it’s a horror game franchise.
I played RE:2 remake recently and I hope it’s at least as good as that.

Dragon’s Dogma 2. Played 43 hours already mostly avoiding the main story. I have 9 days off work starting tomorrow so I might start Bioshock, too. Never played the series before

@astro911 Thanks I’ll look into doing that. I played Until Dawn last year and didn’t even know anything was cut. It makes me wonder now what other censored games I’ve played without realizing

Yeah it sucks. I live in Japan and have a PS5 digital console. A couple of games I’ve wanted to play but can’t get are Dead Space, The Callisto Protocol, and Dead Island 2. A couple of games I can get, but are censored which slightly annoys me are TLOU2 and Baldur’s Gate 3

I finished The Artful Escape recently and didn’t really get the hype. Well I liked it enough to finish it I guess. I also finished ABZU last month and thought it was nice.
A couple of these are in my backlog. I particularly want to give Minit a go

I love open world games, but dislike super heroes like Marvel and DC. I’ve never seen anything of Black Panther though. Maybe this game will change my mind on super hero games

I voted for TLOU2. I never played the original so I only know this remastered version. It’s probably my favorite game ever surpassing part 1 which I played last year. The No Return mode is new, right? I had so much fun with that, too. Lots of replayability.
I’m about 30 hours into Dragon’s Dogma 2 which may overtake TLOU2 for my GOTY

I’m gonna try out Immortals of Aveum tonight basically for PS Stars thing and then back to Dragon’s Dogma II

I’m completely sucked into Dragon’s Dogma 2. I love this game so much. I just changed to the thief vocation from fighter and warrior, so I’m gonna try leveling that up for a while. I haven’t got very far in the main story - I’m mostly exploring and doing side quests. I love my pawns

I’m playing Dragon’s Dogma 2 now and it’d be really cool if I could see my stats, map, quests, pawn details, storage, tutorials etc. on my phone when I’m not playing. I’d use that so much

@Kyushutrail To answer my own question, the next Famitsu magazine cover is Rise of the Ronin with DD2 mentioned as a minor headline. Elden Ring DLC has a bigger headline 😆 Cover looks great though. I think I’ll buy it

I wonder what score they’ll give DD2 and I wonder what the next Famitsu cover will be - Rise of the Ronin or Dragons Dogma 2? I’ll pick up a copy if it’s the latter

I’m playing through RE2 now so it’ll be nice to put 3 in the backlog. By the time I’m done with those I’m sure 4 will be added to extra 😆

Hearing it’s more accessible than previous team ninja games is music to my ears. Will probably pick this up sometime, but like others I think I’ll be playing DD2 for a while…

DREDGE! I’m loving it so far. I might finish it in the next few days so I’ve got Control and Rachet & Clank: Rift Apart downloaded and ready to go. They’ve been in my backlog since forever

I thought the story of TLOU2 was perfect. Even better than part 1. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I hope he does a part 3 one day and I trust it will be great, too

The speech was fine. Who really cares about award ceremonies anyway. I’m watching the show now (just starting the David episode) and it’s not bad. I think he did a decent job as Joel

@Kienda I kinda agree. I’m an old guy but new to gaming and loving it. I played 7 remake last year and enjoyed it. I actually didn’t know about this death. I get that it’s an old story though so I dunno. I also got spoiled before playing TLOU2 but apparently a lot of people did. Maybe I should just stop reading anything about games 😐

The game doesn’t really appeal to me, but the name is pretty funny

I played Tchia and Ghostwire: Tokyo last year and LOVED both of them. I haven’t played Outer Wilds yet, but I’ve heard good things so I’ll start it tomorrow!

I’ve already preordered it, but I’ll play the demo just to play around with the character creation in readiness for the full release

@Fishface45 Thanks, but I did some research and it looks like it’s not releasing on ps5 in Japan where I live. It’s releasing on Xbox and steam only. How bizarre. Hopefully it gets a PlayStation release here sometime

@Onearmbandit It was the gameplay. I was trying to do one of the first missions involving stealth and found it frustrating. I’m sure if I stuck with it it could’ve gotten easier, but I guess I didn’t have the patience.

@Onearmbandit I’m always tempted to buy AC Valhalla because it’s always really cheap on sale. I love the look of it, but I tried Odyssey and didn’t really like it so I’m on the fence

I’m playing TLOU part 2. I’m about 60% of the way through (no spoilers please!), but I have to say it’s easily one of the best games I’ve ever played. Such a great story.
I also started Slay the Spire the other day and it’s really cool so I’ll be playing a bit of that, too

I’ll try Steelrising eventually I think. Looks kinda like Lies of P

I just hope we get an English text option in the Japanese release
