question guys - have u seen any cities or bigger settlements in this game? Really wondering if there will be one - Tsushima felt a little bit empty in this regard...

not a fan of GAAS, but yes,.. in business perspective, Sony should chase this live service dream, because it generates way too much money over the years.

@Arkz people tend to praise past products, games etc. But truth is PS4Pro was not that great at all.

I had it and it was loud AF and many games have not been optimized for it.

So looks like a game that could be improved by time.

29yo here and although I would prefer a game rather than sub/czrrency, it seems Ok to me that kids want to play online games together. Why not.

@nhSnork I agree with physical buttons. That’s why I think launching something like Backbone controller (or connecting dualsense) should be necessary for “Playstation mobile games”.

This could be accompanied by PS app, from where you launch those games, track trophies, buy games, add ons etc. App would be available only on higher end phones.

Ignoring some other legal/technical hiccups, this scenario would be really interesting - many people including myself don’t want to own several different devices.

Many won’t like it but mobile phones are the future. They have capabilities, now they need software.

Think about it this way:

• there are games that do not want to miss out on old gen sales
• then there is freaking R* that does not care to release it elsewhere because people will buy PS5 just for this game. 😅

It s pretty frustrating that games like Mafia 2 run 30fps only.

Really considering PC purchase - since this is purely devs' laziness ...

@AhmadSumadi yeah, Spidey 2 feels really good so far (played 15 hours). It is more evolution than revolution type of game, but for me it feels polished and very engaging than other games this year.

@ROTTIEMAN16 majority of casual gamers do not think that way. They see games like COD, Spiderman or Avatar and do not care about much else

looking forward to this. There have been many new MP titles in last couple of years but not a lot good ones.
This looks great though and from what I saw on YT, reactions from players are quiet positive... We will see

@get2sammyb I have known Pushsquare for a long time. However, for some reason I have noticed much more content from u guys in recent 1-2 years... don't know what it is honestly but good job.

@get2sammyb I believe if you did an A/B article test one day about some new title where on version A you use live-service wording and in version B you do not, I guarantee people will only hate ver. A.

Imagine describing whole title from a perspective of upcoming DLCs &/or other content and people will love it. 😄🤷🏼‍♂️

Meanwhile, Phil tries to be this “hero” of the gaming world that only has the best intentions for gamers…

If you ask me, MS has really stelar PR and marketing teams. They are doing really amazing jobs promoting this Xbox sh*tshow in the last decade.

@get2sammyb that would be completely Ok. Thing is, they do not really compensate for it and their attention to hardcore gamers is minimal. It feels like they cater most to casuals these days...

In my opinion, they should definitely do something about their marketing and PR.

@Sakai I do not get why so much hate. Some people like to play live service multiplayer games like me for example (Apex Legends). Some like to game on their phones. Some on PC. Some like virtual reality.

Look at Microsoft - they are much likely to do what "internet likes". Sony gets a lot of hate sometimes but usually they experiment much more and usually more successfully than others...

it needs something mindblowing, like some of the best AAA games having the VR mode. Not a side game, but full game in VR like GT7 or RE...

If something like GTA came up with VR mode... well...

Nah, you cannot trust Ubisoft until they bring something great again. I am not against buyi g their games if good but definitely do not preorder with them.

True - they might be hitting the ceiling. However, a proper cloud solution that works would bring many more players. People who never got to play big AAA games, simply because they just do not want to invest in console. Even for some casual gamers it might look silly, but really - paying at least 300 for playing 1-2 games is lot for some.

Therefore, I believe Xbox's only way to push forward will be via cloud. Which - in my view - is still pretty shi**y solution to play games.

@KaijuKaiser true... they release some of the best story-driven games on the market every year. But somehow fans think they only gonna do live service now lol

gamers hate MP games because first think that comes to mind is COD, Lol, Fortnite... MP does not necessarily needs to be something like that and there could be a lot of innovative games using online elements or other revolutionary game mechanics in story games for example...

Don't hate it until you see it (or see battlepasses - in that case hate it as much as you want 😄)

I regularly visit a local gaming site in my country + Pushsquare.
However, I find Pushsquare to have far less content than some other portals - guys, you do not have to have a perfect post all the time, but it could be nice to have more information than now...

@GamingFan4Lyf regarding Switch - true, but still there might be a lot of potential on other platforms for Sony, since there's lots of users having huge game library, which they would appreciate to play somewhere else...

For example, I have over 1k games and playing them on a vacation from a portable device would be a dream...

realistic MP shooter game? Looks really good so far.

I like the genre and feels like ages since there was something really good and innovative... 😕

TV series about GTA? Sounds "meh" to me, I would prefer if he was a character in GTA6...
