Great month for me, been keeping an eye out for Plagues Tail, got the plat on the 1st and really enjoyed it.
Evil West is a great game, some real punchy weapons and good old B Movie dialogue, good fun all round, it reminds me of Shadow of the Damned on PS3!!!

Thanks Graham, as a fan of Prodeus which I played earlier in the year I will now have to check out Dusk, that one passed me by!

@thefourfoldroot1 You are so right, seen you say it a few times but until Xmas (when I got my PSVR2) I couldn't comment but I understand that feeling now, flat games are just.....flat. I want to be fully immersed in the world and feel like I am truly in it which only VR can do!! It is a really special bit of kit!

I will be continuing to enjoy my PSVR2, what a piece of kit, I have the 1st PSVR which was cool but this is such a step up! So much better in every way Currently enjoying Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, feels like I am 12 years old again!

@JamieO Really good list mate. As a Dead Space fanboy myself, I too found the remake to be superb and it shines on PS5. I discovered Full Void on the Evercade, what a treat! Back on PS5 as a pixel art fan I enjoyed Prodeus too and now it is coming to plus in January everyone will get to sample it.

No worries, we all have a healthy back log I'm sure, take all the time you need Shift Up. Hopefully it will be worth the wait, if it plays half as good as it looks we are in for a treat

Great selection, loved the 1st Plague game so looking forward to getting the plat on this one. Evil West is a superb PS3 style game, great weighty combat, some comments saying it is button bashing have clearly not played it for long as there is no way you complete this game button mashing. Late game has some good mechanics switching between weapons is a must!

Brilliant game and 6th is about right IMO. I thought the basic controls (whilst not for me) made it far more accessible for everyone and loved the single player campaign!

@SoulChimera couldn't agree more mate, I would love the platinum but just never seem to be around when tournaments start, it is a bit bizarre and the only flaw in the game!

Henry my friend you get a gold star for including Dredge! About time it got a bit of recognition, I absolutely loved it and was disappointed to not see it on the list of Indies for the year here at PS.
I haven't started Horizon Call of the Mountain yet, only got my VR for Xmas but what a piece of kit and I can't wait to work through this years titles. I do hope we get Half Life Alyx one day though!

I quite enjoyed Ishin, especially the dungeons but it did feel like I was playing an older game where as RE4 and Dead Space felt modern and looked stunning. Can't wait to try RE4 VR mode and then Village after that!

Great list Stephen, I really enjoyed Humanity too, brilliant game I couldn't agree more regarding the web wings in SM2 it is such a joy to traverse/fly around loved it!
I've said it on other lists but Cocoon is definitely high on the back log list for me so hopefully get around to it sooner or later, all the best for gaming in 2024!

15 out of 20, not bad at all, much better than last year I think!! To be fair I log on here pretty much everyday so I should have an idea of most stories but a Dual Sense for fertilisation!!!! Definitely missed that one!

The original was possibly my favourite PS3 game (definite top 3) and the remake did it justice IMO, looked incredible. Probably wouldn't make my top 10 this year but that is mainly due to the high caliber of releases in 2023!!

Dredge was by far my favourite indie this, for it to no even be an option is ridiculous (it has been over looked before on here so not overly surprising).For those who are interested Dave the Diver is doing a Dredge linked/themed DLC
Really enjoyed Humanity too definite top 3 and I will be trying out Cocoon in the New Year.

Nice list Khayl, can't say I have played anything in there unfortunately but good to see the variety. Fireteam put me off the new Aliens game but I might check it out & BG3 will be played once I get a physical copy!

I would have it a bit higher on the list but I am a big Star Wars fan, as long as it hits top ten I can't argue.
Great game, great characters and runs really well now on PS5, thankfully I didn't play it at launch when it was supposed to be a bit ropey!

This is getting a lot of mentions in GOY podcasts, gonna have to give it a try, sounds intriguing & I do like a good puzzler!

SM2 for me, I wasn't fan of the Avatar film but man I am being drawn into giving the game a go, love Far Cry so it sounds right up my street!

I never played the original RE4 as I became a dad around the time it came out and then it just passed me by so the remake is like a new game to me, it is absolutely brilliant and now I get to enjoy it all over again in VR SF6 is also brilliant!

Got my Humanity Platinum last night, great game glad I didn't miss it. Back on GT7 in preparation for VR2!!!

Nice one Aaron, Diablo 4 is lingering in my back log, I have that levelling up itch too and since leaving Destiny 2 I haven't found anything as satisfying but I am a little bit nervous as I can quickly get addicted to the loot loop!!

I wasn't a fan of Chun Li's huge thighs in SF6, not sure what she is like in Fortnite. Funny article though, always makes me laugh!

A good list Ken, I will be starting BG3 once the physical copy arrives and I can't wait. Lies of P is intriguing me too!

@thefourfoldroot1 Thanks for this, I will no doubt be in the same boat as you, as a trophy hunter I tend to avoid non trophy games. Appreciate the feedback on RE4, haven't got the platinum in this yet so might clean that up in VR, what a treat

@CharlieChooChoo I hope you are right dude but unfortunately I gave up on Karma a long time ago, good people don't always get what they deserve and it seems bad people get away with a lot! Doesn't stop me from trying to be a good person though as should we all

@thefourfoldroot1 Nice on buddy, I hear RE Village is even better than RE4 in VR due it being built with VR in mind, did you try that one? Not sure the baby scene would be enjoyable in VR though 🤢

@Kidfunkadelic83 Thanks dude, Pistol Whip is definitely on the list, looks great and absolutely my type of game. I have the OG PSVR so am hopeful the motion sickness is not an issue but I hear you, many people have said it is a thing. I am sure I will feel a bit sick when spinning out in GT7 though 😂

This is a PlayStation GoY so I won't list other platforms but It has been a great year, I haven't played everything yet but from what I have my top 3 would probably be SM2, RE4 (1st time paying) & Robocop. BG3 and AW2 are in the back log and no doubt BG will win.

Done and thank for the tip off on 'Road to VR' I had somehow missed this site!!

I wanted a pallet cleanser after Robocop and nothing too big before Xmas so I gave Humanity a go and man is this game good, definitely in my top 6/7 this year. Just done the Yellow core so almost there and probably got 90% Goldys
Will give it a go in VR when my PSVR2 arrives off Santa but do you play as the dog or is it just an overview kind of experience?

I won't get the t shirt but I would definitely watch the film, heard good things about 'Everything Everywhere all at Once' and Uncut Gems was relentless but brilliant (Sandlers best film in years).
Really good to see Kojima get his ideas on the silver screen, clearly a dream of his realised 🤞

Put it on a disc and I'll buy it, really enjoyed the first and this one is clearly even better from all the reviews and acclaim it has got!

Got my platinum on Robocop this week, great game, proper fan service stuff!!
I am now chilling with Humanity, got real Lemmings vibes, really good game and addicted to getting my goldies

@EnragedGibbon It is a good question, I am massive Star Wars fan so Tales From the Galaxy is a must having not played it before and I have got GT7 & RE so look forward to diving into them too. Horizon is in the box so that is a day one, heard good things about Red Matter and having played Moss on the OG PSVR I will no doubt dip into the second one of them along with Saints & Sinners. Open to suggestions though buddy if you have any!?!?

Not a day one for me but as a fan of Ubisoft games (stop laughing at the back) mainly Far Cry, AC and the Division I will pick this up down the line. Something soothing about clearing a map with that formula.

Anyone know if we will get a physical release? The first did on the original PSVR!

I haven't got around to them all yet still have Armored Core, BG3 and FF16 in my backlog. Great to see Dredge get some love but shame Robocop missed out as that is definitely in my top 5.

I will leave Avatar until next year a it looks like a long game but looking forward to Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Alone in the Dark if it reviews well!

Hopefully finishing off Robocop which has been a joy, I love the film, one of my favourites so I am bit biased but it is brilliant. I accept Robo walks a bit slow but he does in the erm... real life! Also hope to try out Goodboy Galaxy on my Evercade

More Robocop for me, real nostalgia trip, gutted to hear Flashback 2 is a mess was gonna give it a go but perhaps I will get on to Mario Wonder instead, plenty of robo killing first though
