Ive played the first one but then just stopped after an hour or two. My copy of DD2 is arriving today so hopefully it doesn't happen the same way. Im really hyped for this just because this is the fully realized version that the devs wanted to make

My copy of Dragon's Dogma 2 is arriving tomorrow so that's what I'll be playing.

@WanderingBullet That's genuinely a negative for me. Into the Dangan was such a good song even if it sounded out of place. It was so lame that they even took it out for the remastered versions

@thefourfoldroot1 It's literally only been 6 months at most my dude. Talking like the DLC has taken 2 years when it hasn't. You do realize that they seperated both Echoes of the Fallen and Rising Tide to reduce development time correct?

@thefourfoldroot1 Or let them take their time on it. If Elden Ring can release their DLC a year later so can FF16 and it hasnt even been a year yet for this game. It's more content as well so quit whining about it, literally complaining to complain.

@thefourfoldroot1 This is type of feedback that just encourages companies to go back to crunching developers. "Oh this is too late, it should've released sooner" "Oh this is too early, why couldn't this be part of the base game." Such a lose lose situation here.

@jt887 My guy it's most likely something out of the developer's control and has to do with the executives of Capcom.

@Judal27 Agreed, Rebirth is still a fun game but counters in 16 are just a lot of fun and especially with Titan and Shiva.

Wait... is it possibly teasing a new ending there at the end of the trailer?

Edit: It'll probably change the fight but not the ending since Itsuno did state the dlc isn't changing anything about it

@Ashina Honestly it felt good going back to FF16 after Rebirth. I could not stand the mini games and open world that I needed a break from it.

Ability loadouts is nice, it was a little annoying switching my skills up before a boss fight. This is most likely not going to happen but man I would love, love, love, for the Ultimaniac difficulty to be added for the full game instead of just arcade because enemies are actually aggressive like they should be compared to FF difficulty

@Orochilocka That's wrong, there are items in the game where it allows you to recustomize your character without spending money

I thought I'd go with Fighter for the starter and then Warrior after but it looks like I'm going with Thief and then Warrior

Yeah I was thinking there was an issue with my internet. Ah well, gives me time to continue Ada's Seperate Ways DLC.

@Specky You'll probably never get a good open world game with the devs we have right now for dragonball games or even anime games in general. All I was wanting was a competitive fighting game for Dragonball and we finally got one with FighterZ and it turned out amazing. Until the developers decide to do anything other than retell the exact same story over and over again, an open world dragonball game does not sound like it has much potential.

Yeah after FF7 Rebirth's open world and hearing the words map markers and no sense of discovery I'm skipping this.

@Specky I couldn't care less for an open world dbz game. The one thing I do care for is a new story instead of retelling the story of Dragonball over and over again. FighterZ and XV have done something different at least but even XV2 manages to do the same thing all over again.

It's pretty neat that they reused some of the old grunt lines from the old budokai games.

@AndyKazama I need to get back into playing Ff5 but it is creepy asf with its atmosphere, especially with the pouring rain.

I will avoid spoilers, but I am not expecting anything interesting out of the story just because it is directed by Itsuno.

I really find it weird how Sony is just straight up ignoring Bloodborne. Like they even took out Lady Maria from the Woman's day art.

@Rob_230 I've been enjoying my time with Rebirth, but I just gave up caring about any of the open world stuff compared to a lot of other open world games and just focused on the story

It's still getting games as well.

Since they are pretty much planning on remaking the entire mainline RE games, I'm very curious how they will remake RE6.

@OMG_Waffles I'm not a true FF fan as I've only played through 16, 15, 7R and currently playing through 7 Rebirth and 14(Almost done with Heavensward) and yeah 16 is easily the best FF game I have played. It's finished, it doesn't feel bloated, and it truly feels like a game that the devs wanted to make and didn't much issues along the way. I really hope 17 is similar to 16 in its mature tone as it really felt like a breath of fresh air compared to 15 and 7R.

@Rhaoulos Well we can only hope that the executives have learned and not rely on their "CDPR magic" ***** again because iirc the devs that worked on the expansion along with the updates are working on the sequel.

@TheCollector316 Yeah same here, easily my most favorite FF game. The game was very well done with its mature tone and political themes so I really hope we get another game similar to 16 especially in its simple DMC combat.

Mine would shatter from the demo alone do I aint even gonna try it dx.

@Gaia093 Yeah that was one thing I wasn't quite a fan of either and especially with the hair kind of clipping through everything. I just want it a bit shortened though.

@jt887 Im not a console warrior and would prefer games stayed exclusive because I like both competition and having my console be worth more than how powerful it is, sorry to break it to you.

Im all for it and a breath of fresh air from a lot of the devs being afraid to add in outfits like this and a beautiful lady on top of that. Day one purchase from me for sure

@Areus No, it talks about NPCs which are "Non playable characters," Although it would be pretty neat if they added in a permadeath mode in the future.

@nhSnork I mean honestly that goes for practically every creature in Final Fantasy. Just look at the design differences between 15's and 16's Ifrit lol

@Ralizah It doesn't necessarily stop me from buying it, but I am skeptical because companies that put their games on gamepass day 1 usually means that the devs don't have much faith in their game being successful or good for that matter.

Yeah honestly I did not like the design as soon as I saw it. It also did not help that the voice acting for it was awful.

Well the gameplay looks very similar to the first game especially in the way it looks so Im fine with this demo. Also Im turning off pawn voices if I can since the first game was terrible with that.

Now that is a pre order item worth getting for sure

@TheArt That's probably my favorite thing about Fromsoft's souls games. Usually finding a new city or area like Cainhurst castle would be a small dlc, but it's in the game which is badass

@Arisen Besides the crap padding and bloat of the open world(Like yeah the mako vaacuum is ***** stupid) I don't really have much issues with the game. I enjoy a lot of the minigames(Although I hate card games), it is better than "Go to this tower and activate to reveal... more objectives." I have enjoyed pretty much all of the voice acting and character interactions, only one I find just a bit goofy is Yuffie. Sephiroth isn't shown that much and I'm on Chapter 7, does he show a few times? Sure but not EVERY time, in fact he only showed up like 3 times at least throughout the first 7 chapters.

@Arisen You have the option of choosing classic, but I understand your side of disliking that FF7R isn't entirely turn based because that is why I don't like Yakuza 7 and 8 since it isn't the classic brawler fights that I know and love(Funny how FF went for more Real Time and Yakuza went for Turn Based).
