@RoomWithaMoose Uhhh.... that would certainly be a terrible move if we remember what happened with Mortal Kombat 1 and Arkham Knight. Unless a Switch 2 is announced (Which almost seems to be confirmed at this point) it would be a disastrous launch. Just play it on the Steamdeck.
@AdamNovice I'll be pretty surprised if there's isn't considering how much of a fan the director is of the game and even got the composer of Nier to help him out iirc anyways.
@PuppetMaster Yeah I just wish the dectective parts of the game weren't so tacked on. I feel like they could really expand upon these parts of the game if they didnt include stupid sections like climbing up a building in the slowest way possible.
Honestly unless there's something else interesting besides the Warbond I'm probably not gonna touch it. I love the game but it's getting pretty stale and especially when we haven't encountered the next enemy faction yet.
@PuppetMaster Only games I've ever cared to buy was Judgement because it still has the brawler style combat. Still find it such a massive shame they switched to turn based :/
I very much respect the developers for making a battlepass that has no timer. I hope this trend keeps going because I'm very sick and tired of developers trying to gain players through FOMO
Im not understanding this article, splitgate was a full release after the beta. The game they're working on is something different in the same universe.
@FinneasGH Yeah whenever I played TFD I just felt like I could be playing Warframe that feels better to play. You have better mobility options, better melee options(And especially when it changes the way the combos work on each of the melee weapons depending on the mod that you get), and a more interesting story to it. Genuinely if the grappling hook for TFD actually had physics to it and let me around with it, shoot while grappling, while flying off of it I would've forgiven the lack of a slide and dive mechanic.
It's a 5v5 hero shooter, if there is one thing I don't like it is being restricted of a class or weapon because someone else is using it. So a hard pass and the character designs are butt ugly
@Mortal Your comment reads as if you spent $20 bucks on the game and trying to justify through a very biased view. I've played enough of it to realize that it is a very dull, repetitive and straight up a worse version of Warframe. The loot never feels that special or different because you constantly get millions upon millions of the same weapons with just slightly higher stats.
Gameplay is very disappointing as you can't slide, the AI is pure trash, and the grappling hook that should to feel great to use feels like absolute garbage. You can't fly off of it, you can't shoot while you're using it, and you can't swing with it. The only thing you can do is grapple onto someone to melee them but even that feels like trash. Lets not even get started on the monetization that Nexon so DESPERATELY wants you to pay for as there's loads and loads of expensive and greedy monetization.
I gave up on it as soon as I noticed how bad the AI was. The AI will either walk very slowly towards you as they shoot at you or they will charge at you to melee you. The snipers won't even reposition when they are clearly being shot at, they will sit there trying to hit you. It got so boring that I was starting to fall asleep playing it. Genuinely makes me appreciate Destiny 2's AI more even though that one is still bad but at least they still put up a fight compared to this.
I'm pretty happy I don't have to buy Dawntrail right now since I'm in Stormblood. I will say Stormblood hasn't exactly hit me very hard like Heavensward has rn. God I wish I could play through Heavensward for the first time again.
2 negatives I have to say about it. One is that it is another arena fighter and two is the immensely disappointing lack of blood. An anime and manga that is known to be brutal(And especially in TYBW) the blood is just non existent here. Not very excited for this and especially when it looks like the developer behind the Naruto games and Kakarot isn't working on it.
It was a tough choice for me with Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, and Dragon's Dogma 2. Ultimately had to choose Helldivers 2 just because it's the one that kept me playing the most. Dragon's Dogma 2 and Stellar Blade are still amazing to play through.
@NEStalgia They haven't, which is why they got backlash for the performance in the first place and especially from the PC community. Even then Capcom has been on a winning streak and with Dragon's Dogma 2 as well.
@Northern_munkey Don't get me wrong I had fun exploring and camping, I just wish the level design was a little more interesting in looks. Elden Ring has kinda spoiled me with Farum Azula and Caelid
@Northern_munkey I mean the graphics are whatever, Elden Ring has pretty much shown us that level design is much more important and something I think Dragon's Dogma 2 lacks.
I kind of enjoy it, but it definitely feels like it's trying to be mix of a lot of other mmos like Warframe specifically. It kinda copies it a lot with the way you obtain Descendants and how you need to wait a certain amount of real time to get it.
My problem with this remake is they didn't need to redo the voices since they are trying to keep it as faithful as possible. But it's pretty obvious why they are doing it and it's to change any lines that would be considered controversial.
@AndyKazama Literally the first game that got me to ever turn the sound off. That's how bad it was and lets not forget Ava, the most annoying character ever that got a beloved character killed.
@RoliePolie91 That's pretty much what it is, a faithful remake because it keeps the core game intact but utilizes new assets. Just like how Demon's Souls, Modern Warfare 1 and 2, and Shadow of the Colossus have been. The developer in the interview did a piss poor job on why it's even called a remaster lol
I'm buying but 2 things I so far do not like, one is Frank's hairline and the other is the fact that they added autosaving. If I'm allowed to turn that off then I'll be happy.

Re: Sample Rise of the Ronin in New PS5 Demo Available Now
Did not care to buy this because of both the boring open world design and Dragon's dogma 2 was coming out so I will be happy to try out a demo.

The people still crying about the censorship never fail to annoy me. Really shows that they haven't played the game whatsoever.

@Nem It is a win because it's a fun game
Re: Poll: Are You Playing The First Descendant?

If they could just fix the issue with the NPCs popping up in front of you I'd be fine with the fps because it hasn't really ruined my experience.
