Greg Miller knows a lot of people at PlayStation so if he is delaying their podcast until later in the week then something is for sure going down. Common sense will tell you the soulslike is Salt & Sacrifice obviously. People on the internet lack that though. Shu has been very excited for it, it comes out soon, and he runs indie games on PlayStation. Plus his Twitter bio is literally nothing but Salt & Sacrifice right now.

I mean I don't doubt it. It really comes down to stock. Sony's lineup this year is full of bangers while Microsoft has nothing other than Starfield right now. Redfall maybe but we've yet to see a single thing from a game that is apparently coming this summer.

@ShogunRok A US company can't just buy a Japanese company because they want to. If Microsoft wants any of those publishers like Sega, Capcom, etc they are going to have to find their way around some laws.

I've seen some incredibly stupid takes about this. Them making 1 million more PS4s for the entire world is basically the same as them not making anymore period. They use to sell 1 million in the US alone during Black Friday week. People need to learn a thing or too and chill the hell out.

@AdamNovice LOL. I think he knows how many copies it sold considering he was there. The game was one of the best selling games in the US in 2019 according to NPD. Pretty sure it did well in EU too. Keep in mind that NPD charts are factored by revenue not units sold. So it going away from sales charts once it hit $20 doesn't mean it stopped selling. It's harder for a cheaper titles to appear in revenue based charts. Pretty obvious this game sold what he said it did.

@nessisonett The Order was profitable too from what we learned. Thing is it appears if a game doesn't get good reviews Sony is done with it. Unless you're Mark Cerny and then you get your way with Knack 2.

Blame reviewers for the game not getting a sequel and Sony for listening to their nonsense. One reviewer complained about all the Zombies being white and Sarah telling Deacon to ride her like his motorcycle. Another complained about the game having another gruff white male lead character. Dumb reviewers with agendas bashing the game for stupid crap

They are using the word "experience" too much for this. I'm worried this is going to be like an hour long if that like Batman Arkham VR. I thought Sony learned their lesson about that...

This isn't surprising or new. A common trend with day 1 PS Plus titles is that they usually have some kind of DLC to take advantage of all those who are getting the base game for free. First Class Trouble, Worms Rumble, Destruction All Stars, Hunter's Arena Legends, Fall Guys, etc all followed this trend

GT7 being the highest rated exclusive in 2022? Lol yeah no. What is with this attitude that just b/c Horizon and God of War Ragnarok are sequels they can't score as high as the last entries? When has that ever stopped anything? TLOU2 was practically the same score as TLOU. The Uncharted games got better after 1 and pretty much all scored about the same as eachother. I guess Push Square staff has already decided in their minds that those games will get docked points just because they aren't original. That's a really dumb mindset to have

@Rural-Bandit Yes but Microsoft has been far worse about it than Sony in recent years. Sony has been getting stuff out within a year or two of announcement lately. Microsoft has been announcing games left and right that take 3 years or more to release and that goes back years. Crackdown 3 and Sea of Thieves took forever, Then you had the Scalebound debacle. Hellblade 2, Perfect Dark, State of Decay 3, Avowed, Everwild, Outer Worlds 2, etc will all be 3 years or more from announcement before they release. Heck I think Everwild is already at that point and from the sounds of it they still don't know what the game actually is

@GamingFan4Lyf No reason to worry. Again look at history. Back in 2020 we had no idea what was coming after TLOU2 and Ghost. Then that June and Sept, Sony announced Returnal, Ratchet, GT7, Horizon 2, God of War Ragnarok, Miles Morales, Astro, Demon's Souls, Destruction All Stars etc. The last of those games is about to be released which means Sony will be revealing the next wave of titles very soon. We know Spider-Man 2 is 2023 and PS5 only and you can bet they have other teams ready to show stuff. Naughty Dog should be showing Factions and TLOU Remake soon, Guerrilla has been working on a 2nd project, Cory Barlog has been working on his game, Pixelopus has been working, Firesprite has been working, London Studio has been working, Team Asobi has been quick with the Astro games so they could have another ready for 2023. The only ones I wouldn't expect something soon from is Bend and Sucker Punch.

@RevGaming Well history and paying attention would teach them to be more realistic with their hopes. It's always easy for me to predict when games are coming because I pay attention to all those things. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone thought Hellblade 2 would've been out a year or two ago when they said from the start it was an UE5 game and that engine isn't going to be fully available until 2022. That alone told me it was years away.

@Rural-Bandit LOL you think they haven't announced all their 2022 games yet? You don't pay attention to how they announce and release stuff do you? Tell me how many games did their studios announce and release in 2021? or 2020? Forza Horizon 5 was the only one. Everything else we knew was releasing that year prior to the year starting. The same will go for 2022. You'll get a confirmed date for Forza Motorsport but again we already know that's coming. The only new one you may get is inXile's smaller game and that's because it's a smaller project like Grounded was. Microsoft isn't one to just announce a game and drop it a couple months later. Their the type to announce their games LONG in advance and then have you waiting years to play them (Hellblade 2, Everwild, Avowed, Outer Wilds 2, etc)

Microsoft has nothing for the entire first half of 2022 otherwise it would've been announced by now. They are going to rely on indies and such hitting Game Pass day 1. The second half of the year will be Redfall, Forza, and Starfield (assuming that doesn't get delayed). Maybe you get that rumored smaller game from inXile but otherwise 2022 is going to be a quieter year for Microsoft's teams. Sony is going to have a monster 2022. Horizon and God of War Ragnarok are GOTY shoe ins. Then you got GT7. The exciting thing is that with those 3 games out soon we're about to learn about the next wave of games coming in 2023. We could also see TLOU Remake or Factions in 2022 if they want to launch it around the HBO show.

I said this back in 2019 when it was revealed and I'll say it again you won't be playing it until at least 2023. Microsoft 2022 is going to be Redfall, Forza, and Starfield (if it doesn't get delayed.) Outside that you might get that new smaller project from inXile and some third party exclusives like As Dusk Falls. Everything else is 2023 or later at this point.

They really shouldn't be showing the results live. All that does is lead to groups trying to exploit the system. I still remember last year when TLOU2 was way out in front and then the incels on 4chan and TLOU2 reddit banning together to get Ghost of Tsushima the win over TLOU2. It was so obvious because you saw GoT all the sudden shoot way up and it was never even close after that. I won't be surprised if there are groups doing the same thing for Halo right now

@WallyWest You aren't getting the full Godfall game with the DLC. All you get is the endgame stuff. If you want the campaigns you got to buy them

You aren't even getting the full game of Godfall. It's only a part of it which is why they called it Challenger Edition. That's a joke. It's Driveclub PS Plus edition all over again

I still check it out daily but it's not as great as it once was. Their staff has gotten lazy too. They frequently skip their podcast if there is nothing MAJOR to talk about and they can't even be bothered to put up their post anymore that listed all the new games coming out the next week. Xbox Wire actually copied them and started doing one of those and then PlayStation was like nope we're not putting that post up anymore.

Deathloop but it's not because the game is that good. There are other things about that game that will make the gaming press vote for it. Can't believe Returnal wasn't nominated when these same gaming press people couldn't stop praising Hades last year.

PlayStation needs to stop setting these goals so high. The last event like this we never hit the stretch goals and now it looks like we won't even finish stage 2 for this event. Why bother design these avatars and themes and then just never release them because you set the goal numbers so darn high?

Been playing every season but I think they really need to shorten them. I usually hit max rank in the first couple weeks and then for like 3-4 months there is nothing to rank up for. I saw the PlayStation costumes leaked for this upcoming season so I'm looking forward to getting them. Over 600 crowns won to date.

Been playing every season and always thought it was weird that Sony paid for timed exclusivity but never got a single costume in the game. Glad to see them finally coming. I got well over 100 crowns on hand so I'll be getting them all. Hope more come like Kratos or something. Shame Rivet only gets a namecard and not a costume

They misled a little but I don't think they lied. I always expected the next Horizon and God of War to be on both. The previous games released in 2017 and 2018. Did people really think they started making the next games during those same years on PS5? No that's foolish. They were always going to be on PS4. Now if Naughty Dog or Sucker Punch started making their next games on PS4 that would be madness as they just put out games last year. They should only be PS5 games and I'm sure they will be. We've still gotten some quality PS5 only games including Astro, Ratchet, Returnal, Demon's Souls, and the upcoming Deathloop, Ghostwire, and Forspoken.

Bioware did this list right. Made it so you can easily get the Platinum in all 3 games while having a separate list for those who want that harder challenge. This is how it's done
