I have to admit I feel much the same way. I haven't finished Elden Ring, I'm maybe half-way through, if that. I can't quite recall what brick wall I came up against, but I realised that I just wasn't having fun anymore. The game had beaten it out of me. I think there are many things to commend about Elden Ring, but personally speaking, none of it is enough of a draw for me to see it through to the end.
@Milktastrophe Man of Medan's on Extra, so putting it on Essential gives it away to a lot more subscribers who are on the most basic plan. And based on what I played of Arcadegeddon a while ago, it'll be well worth a try.
@Vovander There isn't really a tutorial, it's similar to the previous games. I will say that last year's story mode was a good in-road for new players, but that's not here this time.
@riceNpea Reviewed using a DualSense (the haptics and triggers implementation is fine but not mind-blowing, in case anyone is wondering). Totally hear you with regards to a wheel, though! We may have something on that front soon.
@Titntin If you just do a general search for it, you should find it. The various sections of the new Plus tiers are in a bit of disarray right now.
Edit: Read your comment properly! So aside from just doing a search, I've managed to find it. In the Games tab along the top, it then shows you every game on PS Plus, so sort by Z-A and then scroll down until you see it.
@Mauzuri My thinking there is just it would be nice to have the option, as it's something you're able to do in older Sonic compilations (I believe). Not a huge negative either way!
@Sinton As far as I understand, Classic mode uses the same version of the game as the Anniversary mode, just modified to reflect the originals (4:3, no drop dash, limited lives etc).
@Ryany @BartoxTharglod I mean, it'll be available in a matter of hours, and the PS Store won't run out of copies! As to why some games get pre-orders and some don't, no idea.
@RudeAnimat0r I'd say combat is less complex in TMNT but one thing it has over SoR4, in my opinion, is a dedicated dodge. That alone makes it more enjoyable for me.
This game isn't really about chasing high scores, although you can, but there aren't leaderboards or ranks. There are optional challenges and collectibles in each stage, and the story mode displays your best completion time for each level on the map screen.
Not getting my hopes up for anything, really. Save states would be great, but I’m not holding my breath even for that. I think Trophies for these hundreds of retro games is extremely unlikely.
@nyXhc420 One of the best! I do think it has its flaws — I'm still not won over by the story really — but it's excellent fun from start to finish. So much variety, the gameplay throughout is consistently good, and it uses co-op in some brilliant ways. Very good.
To clarify: the list is actually based on the Push Square USER score, not our review scores. If you disagree with anything on the list and want things to change, get those user ratings in.

@Th3solution Nah.
Re: PSP Game Super Stardust Portable Joins PS Plus Premium
@Titntin It is all a little messy right now, no question. I'm sure it'll settle into a groove once it's been going for a little while.

Re: Sonic Origins (PS5) - The Genesis of SEGA's Mascot Revisited with Style
@xDD90x No use of haptics or adaptive triggers, I'm afraid!
Re: Sonic Origins (PS5) - The Genesis of SEGA's Mascot Revisited with Style
@xDD90x I reviewed this natively on PS5. It's on both!
Re: Sonic Origins (PS5) - The Genesis of SEGA's Mascot Revisited with Style
@Vix I don't think there are any alternate options on that front

@Voltan Programming is golf, got it.
Re: Random: Jak and Daxter Fans Are Porting The Precursor Legacy to PC
@Voltan Pretty much — I didn't go into crazy detail above but they created and used a heavily customised version of Lisp named GOAL.

This looks pretty great!
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (PS4) - Brilliant Beat-'Em-Up Is Best in Co-Op
@Ryany By the way - double checked regarding the six-player thing. Turns out we were both half-right.
To clarify: Shredder's Revenge on PS4 supports up to 4 players locally and up to 6 players online.
@BartoxTharglod Yeah, it's an odd inconsistency!

Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (PS4) - Brilliant Beat-'Em-Up Is Best in Co-Op
@Ryany Not every game goes up for pre-order — it'll go live on PS Store when it launches tomorrow. No conspiracy here.
Also, the PlayStation version definitely has six-player. No idea where you've heard otherwise, but that's false.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (PS4) - Brilliant Beat-'Em-Up Is Best in Co-Op
@messimagician There's crossplay between PC and Xbox, but it's not supported on PlayStation or Switch currently.

That’s awesome. As the article says, not expecting Trophies in everything, but it’s cool that at least a few will have them.
Re: Hands On: MultiVersus Leans on Fantastic Cast of Characters in Entertaining Smash Clone
@Juanalf The alpha test only has online play for obvious reasons but as far as I know, the final game will have local multiplayer options.
