To be honest I don't really care if a song or two changes I just want to play the games in my ps4. I hope they do a good work in how the games actually play.

I have this preordered. The only thing missing are the Master System games/ Game Gear games/ Knuckles Chaotix that I guess may added via DLC if the game sells well...

On a more serious note I ordered the Castlevania PS4 from Limited Run Games. From 35$ that is the initial price I ended paying 65€ due to shipping, customs, taxes etc.

To be honest those polls need the option: I don't care for the games, I just pay to play online or for cloud saves... I don't remember the last time I downloaded a Plus game... Personally I mostly pay for the convenience of cloud saves. I would much prefer if they ditched the free games and lowered the price of the essential subscription.

@KidBoruto Both RE7 and Village are top quality, you will have a great time regardless of when you play or in which platform. Just beware of spoilers!

@KidBoruto They may only referred to the paid VR DLC... In any case we will probably know later this month. If there is Story DLC it should release this year and not next year close to the RE4 Remake.

@WaveBoy I have played and beaten RE Village in PS4, PS4 Pro, PS5, Series S, a mid-range PC and in the Steam Deck. Yes, it is crazy, but I love this game. Believe me that all experiences were great. Seriously Capcom did a great job at optimizing and scaling the game. I don't know why they don't do this to this one too. Seriously it is not Final Fantasy 16 or Spider-Man 2. If the Steam Deck can play RE4 Remake so can the aging platforms. Obviously the PS5 was the best experience but you could not go wrong with any of them. I have never tried a VR game.

As for RE4 I know that it is a popular game, but I did not like it that much. I never got why they ditched the horror elements to create another adventure-shooter that they were already a lot of them. I never really liked RE5 either. Way action focused and a bizarre final battle that would be more suitable to a Superman game or something. On the other hand I did not find RE6 that bad. With the Leon and Ada portion looked like they wanted to please older fans and it kind of works, however I never truly enjoyed Chris or Sherry. They follower the action and stealth norm of the day that I could not stand.

They seem to want to change the story of RE4 and make it more horror based. This could work in RE5 or even 6 if they play their cards right. As you said the same could happen with RE0. The could minimize Rebecca's involvement and come up with a better setting.

You summarized the bad aspects of Code Veronica pretty well but the way they altered aspects of the story in RE2 and 3 Remakes shows that they can make it work. CV in this style with a more serious Steve and a better villain could work.

@get2sammyb That's great actually, I guess I didn't follow the news since neither me nor any of my friends bought the PSVR1 device. I have the Move controller from the PS3 era and haven't used it almost since I bought it lol. Still, I don't think that PSVR2 will be that successful, we will wait and see

@get2sammyb TBH Sony's track record of actually supporting hardware that has not hit the masses is not that great. I don't want to say that PSVR2 will be a flop but I don't see an expensive add on for an expensive console that you still cannot buy easily (also in a bizarre worldwide economy) be much of a success. And few initial sales will lead to lower games been developed etc. and you move towards a Vita situation.
Edit: Now that I think about it the first VR is not very much supported, is it?

@WaveBoy Nobody asks Final Fantasy 16 to be on the PS4 but come on RE4 Remake can be released on the aging hardware. From the trailer it seems to use the same engine as Village that plays great on the PS4.

As for Code Veronica I am surprised to see such love for this game in the comments. I always thought that this game was not that great. Steve and the antagonist may be some of the worst characters on a mainstream game of this generation.

@KidBoruto Was the story DLC officially announced? I don't remember it... Anyway, I love this game I will play any sort of story DLC they make. I hope it is better than RE7 DLC though.

@tselliot Yes but it still comes sort out of nowhere, the final antagonist is bland and with no real motive, and the cliffhanger was badly done. Seriously, I love this game but the way the ending was done ... I did not like it at all.

@DonJorginho I don't think such sites exist for my region. I can only find PS5s in 700 euro bundles with games I already have.

Despite the bizarre ending I really liked Horizon FW. I would love some actual DLC for it.

One might think that preorders may open after the show but it will most probably not happen. Sure Final Fantasy 16 is a huge deal, I would suspect it could get its own state of play...

I live in PAL region but some PS Classics I have from way back are the American versions. However, the PS Classics Mini console had PAL games even in Japan? This makes no sense. They should offer both versions since some might want to play a German or Italian version. It was uncommon to have American versions with all languages. Personally, I would prefer the American version but I can sort of understand the issue. Stuff sometimes is frustrating. Before the PS2 era text heavy games had translated versions throughout Europe. I am a PAL gamer tha speaks English and I had bought by accident Italian or German versions of games and I can't understand them.

This is not good there some Vita games that are not available in the PS Vita store, but you can download them in PS3 and transfer them in the Vita!!!

Anyway, on a more serious note PSP has some of my favourite racers of all time: Outrun 2006, Motorstorm, Underground Rivals... I would love if SEGA ditched the Ferrari cars and offered Outrun in PS4 in some form.

I haven't seen a single Simpsons episode although I have played some games with them. Bart vs. The Juggernauts is a cool one.

@AndyKazama You can back up Vita games on a PC via Sony's clunky program. Doing this also backs up the saves.

I have the PAL copy I got on release date. I feel old. I also have lots of its re-releases. As you can guess I am a Castlevania fan.

We did not have euros back then obviously but I paid 55 euros todays money for it.

I have this game in Steam and highly recommend it.

To be honest I don't think the endgame of Trails from Zero will make much sense without some kind of familiarity with the world and the lore. Steel 1 and 2 may make some sense but 3 and 4 not so much. I may be biased since when I preordered Steel 4 I played Sky 1,2,3, watched playthroughs of the Crossbell games and then I played Steel 1,2,3. I obviously rushed the games playing them in the easiest difficulty and used walkthroughs but still I don't really know how I did all this.

@lolwhatno Well Nintendo usually is easily forgiven for almost anything. People said it is fine then. It sure is in my opinion.

@MaxDiehard Well I have a SSD nvme 512gb somewhere lying around but in valve's video changing the HDD seems harder than your average Windows laptop.

I have ordered the 64gb model actually and waiting the delivery. I would love to tinker with it, do Linux stuff, install Windows 11, play some Indies, install Retroarch and Launchbox, try xCloud, Game Pass etc. However, it seems that I should have ordered the 256 model to make dual boot easier. Not that I could afford the more expensive SKU at this point and you can order only the model you chose back in July. Having loved the Vita and being so and so on the Switch this console-pc hybrid seems to have the horse power I would like.

OK now I am somewhat angry. THERE IS NO WAY TO TRANSFER THE SOUNDTRACK from the console app to a USB drive. Same with the comic. 20 euros wasted in the digital deluxe edition. Not that it mattered that much since only volume 1 is included!

From a quick search seems that a lot of games do this. I was just lucky that Final Fantasy 7 Remake and some other games I have the soundtrack from psn did not do this.

I love the soundtrack, yet I cannot see the option in the extra content of the digital deluxe edition to copy the songs to a usb drive...

I loved the Ryza series and have all the platinum trophies in those games since the OG Rorona. The game is already preloaded in my PS4 and ready for the midnight launch!

@Quintumply Have you tried the game in an OG PS4? I have the game pre-ordered but I am afraid there may be performance or other issues...

@Korgon Oh my God, what you reminded me... I was so angry with the Cold Steel 4 fiasco. I started some months before the CS4 release from Sky FC and played and beaten the games in order. I beat CS3 one day before the CS4 and I couldn't play it for days!

I love the Atelier games. I have multiple platinum trophies on almost all of them and last year I 100% beaten Ryza 2 on Switch, PS4 and PS5. However, I don't think Sophie 2 is what I wanted. The Mysterious Trilogy is my least favorite one. There didn't seem to be an overarching story and I would very much prefer a Ryza 3 or a Dusk sequel. That being said the game looks very interesting however we yet again have the 115 euro ultimate edition. I guess those supe expensive versions are here to stay. This is way more expensive than ultimate editions of more maistream games.

They are boring. I was hoping for a Final Fantasy 7 Remake or anything more specific.

In any case I can now buy covers for a console that I can't buy. Not that I could buy the cover anyway since my region is not at the ones listed.

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I can't stand Miles, he is one of the blandest and generic characters that wore the mantle, and I cannot understand why he must be introduced in all major adaptations of Spidey like this game, the recent tv series etc. I cannot recall any story that miles was the focus that I really enjoyed: Spider-Men, Civil War 2... At least the his cameo in Life Story was interesting. And in the game, after they changed Peter's actor, they made him seen younger than Miles.

By the way I loved the end in Spider-Man. I loved the connection and how it was forged between Peter and the final boss.
