Unpopular opinion but I’m down. Re-watched all four seasons of Black Sails a few months back and have been itching to get my pirate on ever since.

Still haven’t played Inquisition tbh… might just jump straight to 4. A 2024 would surprise me mind.

Not only are they not growing but I’d argue that they’ve had an impact in regards to the current industry crisis.

@XenonKnight and that’s when you know… it’s actually all over. It’s a real shame, if Microsoft had actually stayed the course (which in fairness would involve many difficult board meetings) I think they’d have taken a bite out of Sonys base next gen.

I was convinced for a while that they’d bet so large on Gamepass that the only option they had was to keep doubling-down… ironically the ActiBliz books showed them another way.

For all those in the recent Tony Hawk 3 & 4 thread spinning the news that the project getting cancelled prior to the ABK acquisition being proof-positive that Microsoft buying the publisher was a good thing… well, your probably so engrained within your opinion that even today, you stand by it still 🥸

@nessisonett I actively avoid modern music tbh. That’s not to say I haven’t heard a Lamar track on the radio and just not known who it was… but I have no idea.

As someone who loves hip-hop from the 80’s and 90’s (and some early 2K) and still listen to it regularly, everything I’ve heard from Drake is absolutely horrible… and I can’t say that I’ve ever heard a Kendrick Lamar track.

I’ve really enjoyed the rebooted series and hope that this new one keeps a lot of what made those great, while evolving the franchise too. Looking forward to this.

Yeah I always thought the open-world + difficulty levels combination would tempt more “casuals” than the Nioh games. I personally love Nioh and particularly Nioh 2 but there’s no denying that they are difficult, even when compared to other souls-likes.

I thought I was over these Bethesda games tbh but having loved the show recently, I’m absolutely loving New Vegas atm. So much so that I’ll probably pencil in a Fallout or Elder Scrolls every year or two moving forwards.

Hated the original at release… and then went back to it years later and loved it, liked the sequel too. Legion has been in the backlog since it released and I’m in no rush.

I think that this game (& SoT) is a classic example of why the distinct ecosystems of the Xbox and PlayStation was a positive. These online GaaS might well be good but I just have absolutely no interest in them whatsoever.

Any idea about the plat difficulty and MP requirements, there isn’t much info around about the trophy list?

Gonna make a start on Fallout New Vegas, I played it back when it released but don’t think that I actually ever finished it. Looking forward going back.

Yeah lovely game that and so much better than I expected. Hope that Xbox players buy it… unless it’s on Gamepass of course.

@NEStalgia so I’d been trying to get my missus to try Fallout for ages. The reason being that she loved Skyrim and was looking for something else to grab her in the same way. Try as I might, she just had no interest whatsoever… until she watched the show. Now she’s very interest in playing one (probably 4).

Yeah I’ve been tempted back too tbh. Think I’m gonna playthrough New Vegas again… but they’re all pretty good to be fair.

An update to Mafia 3 to resolve all the trophy bugs would be nice.

I’ve picked up the first two across the various store sales over the years, haven’t played them though. Judging by some of the comments though, they seem to garner some love so I might have to fit them in at some point.

Really looking forward to whatever Fares has cooking. I managed to convince the missus to couch co-op It Takes Two with me and it is and will remain one of my favourite gaming memories. We did A Way Out too, which while nowhere near as good, was still an enjoyable couple of afternoons. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

The second big step towards a console-less future (the first being producing games for PC in the first place). Dread it, run from it… destiny arrives all the same.

I think there’ll be another generation, maybe two… but we’re in the Endgame now.

Haven’t played a tennis game since Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast… but used to really like them. I could be up for this actually 🤔

The original Helldivers, a great game… and has done two things for me personally: 1) reminded me about how much I love twin-stick shooters and 2) whetted the appetite for Helldivers 2.

Actually looks awesome… never heard of the original but the trailer for the sequel hits!
