I was kinda hoping it’d basically be a Horizon game but with a Lego aesthetic… unfortunately the trailer seems the opposite. Just looks like any other themed Lego game 😔

After completing all the campaign trophies on Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition this passed week, I’ll be trying to get all the multiplayer stuff done this weekend. More of a solitary player for the most part but looking forward to a rare bit of social.

Now that is good news, will be picking this up for sure

So bloody hyped for this! Obvs it’s from an unproven dev… but so was Lies of P… and Stellar Blade… looks special

Just because some PlayStation gamers would buy certain Xbox games (I bought Hifi Rush the other day in the sale for like £16) in no way means we’ve all been desperate for these games all these years.

I’ll probably get around to Hifi by around 2027 what with my backlog… and it’ll be the same if anything else I fancy gets ported. More games coming to your platform of choice is rarely a bad thing but this positive reception is not indicative of everyone on team blue having been quietly coveting all things Xbox these past years.

Nice for the target demo I suppose, I’ll donate it to some local kid or another

Already have SoR4 but didn’t have the others. The Cosmic Shake was on my wishlist, so pretty happy with that… and somewhat intrigued by AEW, might give it a go.

If I get any spare time this weekend, unlikely though it is… I’ll be looking to start Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. It was never a game that was on my radar but have heard a fair bit of positivity about it recently so hopefully it lives up to what people have said about it.

@LowDefAl I don’t tbh… subscription services just don’t appeal to me.

I just bought Fate/Samurai Remnant which I’ve heard is somewhat musuo… like a hybrid between action rpg and musou from what I’ve heard. It’ll be years until I get around to it though if I’m honest.

I’ve never played a musou game but did kinda like what I saw from the trailer. Maybe this’ll be a good place for me to start.

@CaptD I’m kinda with you on that… though I probably enjoyed the PS4 gen more tbh.

I’m just playing PS3 these days so that I can finally draw a line under it (once the back log is cleared)… having a ton of fun doing so though.

I think it’s pretty obvious what the core audience wants… and hopefully we’ll be catered to it over the latter half of the PS5 life-span. Unfortunately though, we’re not necessarily the cash cows anymore… and the new cash cows need to be catered to too.

So my PS+ Essential is up in August, if I were to re-up now… would the new sub be from August or from when I re-up?

Will be well up for a Code Veronica remake, the original is one of the only RE’s I ever played (back on Dreamcast), great game.

Funny how exclusives that sell 3 mill quicker than that are considered flops and multi platforms are considered successes… my fud senses are tingling

@Andywax yeah I got it but was anxious the whole time through as there was a few things that could prevent the one trophy (of which the online requirement was part of) from popping. T’was a satisfying one for sure!

Having a blast with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a criminally underrated game imo.

@Czar_Khastik haven’t got too many games left now, maybe 10-15… it’s been weighing on me for a few years and early this year I decided that I’m just gonna clear it. So it’s been predominantly PS3 games this year and I’ve had a surprisingly great time so far. I just hope the PS3 lasts until the last of the games are plat’d tbh 😅

Picked 6 up at launch but still to actually play it unfortunately. Can’t wait though and once I clear my PS3 backlog by the end of 2024, that’ll be one of the games I’ll be making a beeline for.

Went back to finish off the platinum on Mad Max last year… awesome game!

I want good games

As much as I love The Last of Us games I’m really hoping for something new… and maybe a little lighter in tone… just a little bit lighter

Well I’m pretty sure the Insomniac leak gave a 2026 release for Wolverine anyway, so no rush right now… though I would like a showing of the suggested Venom expandalone due in 2025 fosho!

Could actually be really cool if the maps and cosmetics had more association with the big Ubisoft franchises.

Sounds pretty boring from the reviews but it will be one of the few Xbox games I play when it gets ported 😉

Finishing off my hardcore playthrough of Fallout: New Vegas and couch co-op with @missuskilgore on the Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons Remake.

One of the few games I’ll play at release.

Kind of forgot about these as I just couldn’t get one by hook or by crook… might have another look for one now that their a bit more available.

Well we may be saying goodbye to those PS5 exclusives… but Sqeenix will be saying goodbye to those exclusivity cheques in the hope that the sales on Xbox will eclipse that value. And when considering the sales figures of games on Xbox, there are certainly no guarantees.

Putting in a few shifts to hopefully push super-Earth through to galactic success in the original Helldivers… and learning to play Caravan on Fallout: New Vegas.

Hope the master race enjoys it as much as I did… still one of my favourite games of all-time.

Well… regardless of the various bull**** spouted on both sides of the divide, Xbox gamers you’re more welcome over here than you’d think. I know the fashionable choice for you guys these days is an upgrade to PC… but you’d be surprised at how decent a bunch we can be tbh.
