It’s such a slap in the face to those of us that supported the base model and have yet to see enough from Sony to justify even upgrading from a PS4 Pro. Downright disrespectful to immediately go from cross-gen games to selling us a version that will run new games ‘properly’.

FemShep > BroShep any day of the week. Both are good but BroShep’s incredibly awkward delivery is unintentionally hilarious at times and just wouldn’t translate to TV. FemShep would be a better outcome for a potential show.

@ChimpMasta Have you seen the original Concord sketches? It’s nothing to do with character design, all sauce seems to have been sucked out in the actual 3D modelling process.

Depends really. I don’t mind 80 hours of Assassin’s Creed but I couldn’t do an 80 hour COD campaign. A 10 hour Naughty Dog game is OK, a 10 hour Bethesda game would feel like a rip off.

This is insane, OW1 was horribly balanced on launch. There’s definitely a golden era round about Brig and Sig’s debuts (controversial considering Brig’s balancing at first). As it stands the only healers will be Mercy, Lucio and Zen. It will be 6v6 DPS only at this rate. You don’t even get the hilarity of DPS Doom, he wasn’t launched yet. Just a bit weird to consider a game without Moira, I haven’t played it recently but she was literally in every single match I played from her debut onwards.

@kevinm360 My teacher’s mate was responsible for the shadow work in FIFA games for years. Not sure if he made the transition into Frostbite but i can’t imagine that was the most engrossing work back in the day. Besides, computing jobs are f*cked in the UK in general, Brexit means most companies pissed off. My degree’s largely useless.

@TheDudeElDuderino Nah, other way round, we’ll get far far more unoptimised games on PS5 now that’ll benefit from brute force PS5 Pro specs. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were financial incentives from Sony to ensure that.

One thing people are failing to realise about the disc drive is that buying one means your PS5 Pro is now a 4K Blu-Ray player which adds massive value just in itself. For £700 that’s the least you can ask, never mind having to pay £800 or even more if stock issues persist.

The modern day stuff has varied in quality but it’s an essential part of the games, without it, it’s just another open world series. They need to go back to basics, conspiracy theories, illuminati and solid reasons for exploring that specific time period. Now that half the public figures the games accused of being Templars are dead, let’s just double down on it with missions to assassinate Thatcher, Putin etc.
