My hope is that this new Spider-Man can actually be better than Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction. That is still my all-time favorite super hero game. The versatility of the 100+ different moves for unique attacks, movement, and weaponization is incredible. I can't believe no other game has tried to copy that weaponization system.
I really want Gang Beasts. I don't want to buy it for 20 bucks because I'm sure I'll be done after a couple hours playing with my kids. This is my final month of PS Plus ever (I'm not renewing) so it would be great to get something I really want to try.
Now that I think about it, I've purchased way more PS4 remasters than I originally thought when taking the poll
Resident Evil 4
The Last of Us
Shadow of the Colossus
Uncharted Collection
Burnout Paradise
The remakes I still want are Maximo and the Skate trilogy.
In general, I feel there are way too many remasters. But that's largely because I don't care for most of them. However, when it's a remake I really want, I do get excited.
While I admit this is initially disappointing, the game looks well made and I'm still optimistic. For all we know... This is the next great idea and we should be ashamed for wanting just another racer.
Soccer with cars sounded pretty weird too... Until people tried Rocket League.
I'm doing my second playthrough of Breath of the Wild and an enjoying it quite a bit more than my first playthrough. The first time, I went in blind and some things I didn't figure out for a very long time. Most notably, I didn't know how to cook until I got to the end of the game. And believe me... Going through the whole game (especially early on) without cooking is a much more frustrating experience.
I love the visuals of this game but the gameplay looks boring. I love 2D platformers, but I've played so many at this point, I've gotten quite picky on what is quality enough to be worth my time.
Celeste for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it's my favorite new game of 2018.
I say "new game" because SotC is one of my favorite games ever, and the remake is incredible but not altogether a new game.
As far as I'm concerned, this is a modem classic of 2D platforming that deserves to be listed amongst the greats like Mario Bros 3 and Donkey Kong Country 2. It's that good.
"There are strange portals connecting our world to another dimension. A dimension similar to ours, yet different — a kind of dark reflection of our own world. And just like reflections, actions in one dimension are mirrored in the other." So... Metroid Prime 2 Echoes then?
I'm glad I don't make video games. It would be terrible choosing between making the kind of games I love vs. the kinds of games that are most profitable.
I hate how they've handled the 4 week sale. The sales keep stacking, so I can't figure out what's new for week 4 because it's all mixed up with weeks 1-3. It's fine to have the sales continue for multiple weeks, but at least make it easier to sort through.
This was the first game I bought when I got my PS4 two years ago. I play it semi-regularly but just in bite-size chunks. It is a perfect game to pick up and play but never run out of levels to play. I've beaten many hundreds of levels and still am years away from finishing the game. Apparently, now I'm even further from beating it ☺️
I helped kickstart Praey for the Gods and am super excited about it. It's coming along nicely. I'm glad they added a glider just like Breath of the Wild.
I'm also excited about Death's Gambit and Celeste.
This is a good game but no way is it better than Horizon Zero Dawn. People will still be talking about HZD for years to come. Lost Legacy was just a very good game that will fade from memory.
I had high hopes that this would be a big step up in regards to my complaints about previous MH games. But nope.
Super clunky, and it somehow manages to be overly simplistic and yet overly complicated at the same time.
It's probably a good game. It's just not to my tastes. I'd much rather take down machines in Horizon.

Re: Spider-Man's Web Swinging Sounds Superbly Skill Based
I know Amazing Spider-Man 2 gets a lot of hate but I remember really loving the web-slinging in that game. Am I just crazy?
Re: Spider-Man PS4's Release Date Has Been Decided
I'm so excited for this game.
Re: Review: Minit (PS4)

Re: There's a Bit of Zelda, a Bit of Dark Souls in PS4 Action RPG Decay of Logos
I'm interested. I like the combat of dark souls but not the darkness and gore.
Re: Replay Over 50 16-Bit Hits with SEGA Genesis Classics Collection
Finally, I get my face on the front page of Push Square!
Re: Store Update: 13th March 2018 (Europe)
Since I missed the original release, I really want Burnout Paradise. But no way am I paying 40 bucks for it.
Re: Shadow of the Colossus Remake Team Readying Another Revival
Skate trilogy!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 210
@Rogueleader76 Lost Ark is certainly confusing at first but if you stick at it, the experience of figuring it out is very satisfying.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 210
@carlos82 Raiders of the Lost Ark on 2600 is awesome. I spent years uncovering all the secrets in that game (pre-internet).
Re: New PS4 Screenshots From A Plague Tale: Innocence Show a Grimy, Rat-Infested World
My guess... They die at the end of the game.
Re: New Onrush Video Features First Glimmer of PS4 Gameplay Footage
I am really excited for this. Reminds me of Excite Truck for the Wii.
Re: Poll: How Strong Do You Think the PS4's Exclusive Lineup Is in 2018?
For me personally, Spider-Man and Shadow of the Colossus are the only two PS4 games I'm excited about this year.
Re: The Burnout Paradise Remaster Rumour Mill Keeps On Turning
Hopefully this is real. And more hopefully... This will be followed by a Skate trilogy collection.
Re: Onrush Looks Like Motorstorm on Steroids in Brand New Trailer
Reminds me of Trackmania and Burnout. Definitely an exciting prospect.
Re: Rumour: Spyro Remaster Roaring to PS4 Later This Year
@get2sammyb SAVAGE! 🤣
Re: Grand Theft Auto V Is Getting Closer to the 100 Million Units Milestone
I haven't bought it and no gamer I know has bought it. Who are these 90 million people?

Celeste for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it's my favorite new game of 2018.

Re: Guide: Shadow of the Colossus Boss Guide - How to Find and Kill All 16 Colossi
Nooooo.... A guide ruins this game! You can only experience the magic of discovery once. Why spoil it!?
Re: CounterSpy Servers Shutting Down 31st May
This was a cool game. I didn't get it free... I actually bought and quite enjoyed it.
Re: Rumour: February PS Plus Finally Gives PS4 Owners Knack
It would be hilarious if North America gets Dark Souls 2 while Europe gets stuck with Knack instead.
Salty like fish & chips.
Re: Talking Point: What Free February 2018 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
A Hat in Time
Wind Jammers

Celeste on Switch. It's a masterpiece of 2D platforming.

So... Metroid Prime 2 Echoes then?
Re: New US PS Store Sale Focuses on PlayStation Essentials
It's hilarious what games make it to the "essentials" list. I mean Cluster Truck? REALLY!?
Re: Hands On: Shadow of the Colossus PS4 Looks Outrageous on PS4 Pro
I want to hear performance impressions on a standard PS4.
Not that it really matters. I pre-ordered this the second it went up on PSN. A remake of one of my top 3 games ever...of course I'm buying it.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn Sweeps Nominations at DICE Awards 2018
How is Hollow Knight not nominated for art direction!? That's messed up.
Re: Celeste Climbs to the Top of the PS4 on 25th January
This is seriously one of my most anticipated games of 2018, and it turns out it releases on my birthday ☺️
Re: Foul-Mouthed Platformer Rad Rodgers Heading to PS4
Cursing isn't funny or cool. It's just vulgar.
Re: What Happens When You Show Shadow of the Colossus to a Kid?
The original SotC came out when I was 20, and I didn't buy a PS2 until I was 28. But I felt like a giddy 5 year old when I played it.
Re: The Witness Physical Version Witnessed on Amazon Italy
It's an incredible game and one of my favorites on PS4, but I prefer digital.

I'm also excited about Death's Gambit and Celeste.
Re: Game of the Year 2017: What Was Your Favourite PlayStation Game of 2017?
