Any boxed game is pointless nowadays.

The remake is definitely for a new audience.
The original version is really good and probably won’t play it again.

I don’t get why people would get upset.
Most people I see talking about prefer 1080p at 60fps. So, 8K it’s not even close to be a preference.

I believe Sony will do fine.
I think we’ll have a shift in the mindset on how a generation should work.
PS5 will probably have at least 10 years more of life before a new hardware arrives.
The usage of PS5 hardware processing power is barely being scratched.

There no game yet that uses PS5 graphical power… most are just PS4 looking games… there is no reason for a Pro console.
At least, not yet.

Probably the game will sell very well (better than many other games).
And you know what? There are millions and millions of people who neve played this game (me included). And it’s pretty selfish the one wanting to dictate what others should or shouldn’t play.
Keep in mind that Nnot everybody had a console prior PS4. I used to have Nintendo consoles and missed so many games.
I don’t see this as harmful, it’s just a viable option for those who never experienced the game before.

I just earned some credits as a reward and bought a game. ☺️

I’m playing it every single day.. and I’m far from ending… It wouldn’t make sense to buy another game in pre release if I’m not going to play on day 1.

To be honest, after watching the last trailer, I was let down! I definitely disliked those summons battles. It’s not what a Final Fantasy game is about.
Also, they should provide a demo as soon as possible.
I was super hyped and loved FF15…. Watched all episodes and movie related and after playing the demo I knew I had to pre order.
For FF16 I’m not getting the same vibe.

And finally, I believe that many people are more hyped with the FF7 continuation than FF16.

Sony and publisher are treating PS+Extra like a glorified trial of games, unfortunately.

I believe this is an unfair business.
Wait people engage in games with 150+ hours of gameplay… and then delist the game so you are compelled on buying the game.
I understand the PS+ Extra games you don’t really own the game.. but come on!!
It’s like Netflix listing a 20 seasons series for just some month, not giving any chance to watch it in its completeness.

For this reason I downgraded from Deluxe to Extra… no reason to pay more to have nothing more.

It’s a fact that almost every 3D Sonic installment was a failure. At least, now we have evidence that this new game won’t be much different.

I don’t like cats.. but I’m loving to play Stray.

The problem still persists. No resolution whatsoever. FF7 Intergrade edition is still unavailable. Strangely enough, they’re offering 25% discount for DLC Intermission that should be free for Plus Extra subscribers.

Pretty understandable. Best RPG for the system! The only certainty is: only people who never played are the ones who complains.
As I said other day: I platted the game and I got ZERO crashes… just some minor visual glitches.

I platted the game with absolutely zero crashes. PS4 version. So yeah, it’s satisfactory.

One of the best RPG I played so far in the last 37 years, if not the best! (actually, Final Fantasy 6 still brings me fond memories)
Cyberpunk is like Flashback, Blade Runner and Deus Ex combined in one beautiful package.
The story of the missions is pretty wild and intense... a bold decision in the narrative.

@BrainHacker You just made fell super lucky! I clocked 55 hour in gameplay and haven’t experienced any crash to this moment! (PS4 pro, started playing with 1.2 version of the game.)

Playing it right now... one of the best games I’ve ever played. The scenery, the story, the gameplay... everything fits perfectly!
I only started playing after 1.2 release, playing on PS4 pro.. the game runs flawlessly!

Buying physical games is the same as buying physical movies... it doesn’t make any sense at all.
People need to realize that a “game” is the software piece, not the disc or whatever... that’s just the vessel.

I don’t get the point of this... Were PS3 trophies shared with PS4? No, right.
So why on earth should be shared with PS5?
And more, people usually prefer trophies being on different stack even in different region!

Patching loading times for PS4 makes me wonder why the hell they didn’t implemented the game that way to begin with!
It’s not that the hardware have changed at all... which leads me to think that (SSD aside) this loading times are just an marketing stunt!
