I see one general flaw...no trophies on the Switch

in generall, fighting games on disc are somewhat useless. If I want a quick round of fatalities, i'm better off with the digital download.

oh, okay, so biased articles are still a thing in 2022...woke up too early from my grave it seems "You only jump and collect things and talk to robots..." ... hey, guess what...in Doom Eternal you "only shoot aliens in the head and jump and collect ammo". That's why I'll most likely never support either the Extra or Premium tier...just not really worth it. So many drawbacks. On top of that, I don't like the idea of paying extra for Sony to tell me when to play my monthly games before they get delisted from the service or before the streaming session gets aborted.

I'm still missing any swan-song AAA exclusive title(s) for the PS4. You know...like we had for the PS1 back in the 2000-ish era ... Spyro 3 or GT2 for ex. Yes we had Ghost of Tsushima & TLOU 2 but ... eh ... still not quite there in my opinion. That cross-gen downgraded mumbo-jumbo doesn't really count. Before the PS4 retires (original or PRO) it should take one last hefty "breath of the wild" (LOL). An exclusive that would go down in history...that would be remembered with dignity. One last mega-title with which the devs would rush all-in...guns blazin'...utilising all the bells and whistles (60fps/HDR, motion sensors, gyro function, vibration, touchpad, camera/VR mode, Vita/mobile cross-functions, etc.). For that, even a 59.99 tag would be justified.

Without monthly discounts and monthly games, there is no point in the lowest 9,99$ plan. Lots of people will be able to catch up on their backlogs without new monthly games. With games still having online trophies, this is becoming a pay-to-platinum business.

23 years ago, in GT2 you could get those super-limited special cars by completing some exceptional challenges...but they were obtainable. These days it's all about eternal grind or spending money on top of the 99EUR price tag. What an era to be alive...
