Im not quite sure if I should give in to the hype...I have zero nostalgia for Atari (grew up with ZX Spectrum/Amiga). Would love to see something like that with the NeoGeo / SNK arcade smash hits.

I wish for two things in life...world peace and CP2077 to actually run on a base PS4. Big games get optimised for kid toys like the Switch, why can't CP get optimised for the base PS4...the truth is out there ...

That's something that should definitely be pressed on a 4k bluray Omg don't support this, guys...it's only a justification so that other "goodies" could be packed-in in an overpriced LRG release.

So it is STILL possible to release ps4-optimised games in late 2022 ... the devs just need the propper $timulation

It's so funny when you think of it...each fw update during the lifecycle of the console says it improves system performance & stability...how super-broken must've the OG firmware been? How did SONY dare to release such a product to retail?

Honestly...who would this be for?
1) owners of PS4 system who upgraded to PS5 - they most likely played that already
2) fresh PS5-only owners/newcommers to the Playstation ecosystem - why would anyone be interested in a prequel to Forbidden West? This prequell would be largely inferior (combat system, map scale, story, enemies, etc.)
3) collector editions addicts - 299 for a shoebox with a download code - maybe

This and GEX ... would be so awesome

The sad thing is, it cannot even be coumunity-supported later on, like the Ouya is as this is "just" a controller.

in generall, fighting games on disc are somewhat useless. If I want a quick round of fatalities, i'm better off with the digital download.

oh, okay, so biased articles are still a thing in 2022...woke up too early from my grave it seems "You only jump and collect things and talk to robots..." ... hey, guess what...in Doom Eternal you "only shoot aliens in the head and jump and collect ammo". That's why I'll most likely never support either the Extra or Premium tier...just not really worth it. So many drawbacks. On top of that, I don't like the idea of paying extra for Sony to tell me when to play my monthly games before they get delisted from the service or before the streaming session gets aborted.
