I will be jumping into Spiderman, and then promptly dropping it for Alan Wake 2. It looks like it's going to be a perfect crossover of my love of True Detective, Twin Peaks, and survival horror games.

I have no problem with them using ChatGPT to write that tripe. Companies never give good apologies anyway, they give safe and non-offensive ones. It's just a formulaic message you're letting a computer write instead of a human.

Unfortunately I think it's so annoying to play this game with controller and not mouse. It's all about peeking angles and shooting first, extremely accurately. Much easier on a mouse.

My hope is they fold some multiplayer component into pt2 remake if they're abandoning the entire vision for one large multiplayer+singleplayer live service experince factions 2. Just add factions to pt 2 in the same way it was in Last of Us 2013 and I'm happy!

@feiozzo98 I've played these games since FIFA 14, and I've got thousands of hours and probably fewer than 100 in ultimate team. No, I'm not joking. It's the best game yet.

It's the best football game they've put out yet. I can't speak the ultimate team experience, because who wants to suffer that rigged game mode, but otherwise it's a powerful return to form

I just don't understand why they couldn't scale it down and release something analogous to Factions 1, which is just doing a bit of map work and implementating multiplayer... why did they have to turn it into a whole AAA game but not execute well

Very good month, because Callisto Protocol is an amazing and highly underrated game. Hopefully more people getting their hands on it means more people get to experience what I did.

If the game is never finished, I don't want to jump in now for fear missing out on future content and QOL changes once I beat it. First world problems!

Yeah I was exicited to jump in a couple days ago and yet my buddy and I couldn't even get a match. From what I've read PayDay2 was pretty poor on release compared to a few years later, so I wouldn't be surprised if this game is fantastic in 3 years.

Wait, why do we know it's The Division 3 and not another expansion to 2? I mean I think it's 3, but Devil's Advocate...

It's a sad story ultimately. I bought and beat the Callisto Protocol recently and I absolutely loved it. One of my favorie games for certain, so I'm sad things just didn't go well for Striking Distance or Schofield. Hopefully the smallish team at Striking Distance gets an opportunity to make something great again and gets recognition..

Vampyr surprised me a lot, and I am a huge fan of Life Is Strange. I am fully bought in.

This is a banner day. I've been hoping, DREAMING of this for almost a decade. Every year at E3 I would carefully hope. I would cling to every rumor. There were times in my life I thought this was what I wanted most in the world, which just speaks to being a kid, but man- this would have meant everything to me at q different age. I still can't wait, and I'm so happy. The fact more people will be introduced to what are easily top 5 games of all time is just amazing. Games are special experiences, and I really equate this culturally to a new museum opening for millions to explore.

I'm way more excited for the radio stations. They are seriously good, and definitely competitive with GTA5, probably GTA6 for quality.

From looking at hundreds of profiles in dead by daylight lobbies I feel like the PSN average is 1000+ hours in Fortnite, Apex Legends, & a Call of Duty.

Personally, it's FIFA17, Battlefield 4, and Dark Souls 2 with 500-700hours .

The Internet has created a mental illness that spreads amongst the most fragile people and makes them think they are justified to do things like this. It really does start with a little echo chamber telling you everyone else is greedy and evil and if you're pre--disposed to being a nutter you take it in and act on it. You have to be massive nerd to care AT ALL about how Unity wants to run itself, if they make bad decisions, they will fail. Why be so invested? Why be a shriveled little cockroach glued to your screen and then making death threats because of this? Insanity!

I sort of suspected this was mid when we got a shadow release date announce, even though this was one of the first games showed in those PS5 conferences back in 2020.

Well, since MK11 involved tens of hours of fighting AI in the towers I would appreciate a cleaner list. That grind was just unreasonable!

$20, $35, and $40? That's a pretty big increase, especially at the top tier. Hopefully it's about to coincide when them announcing they've solved some emulation for PS3 or are about to drop like 30 new titles across all 3 skews...

@KilloWertz it's too close to call of duty. I don't even need to give a reason other than to point out all the people with the analytics and financial incentives to make the most money don't release their games that close to COD . literally the most obvious thing ever dude

This needs to do what Mankind did, where you look at it and say "neat!" And then when you play it you're like "oh this IS a great game, it doesn't just look like one".

@KilloWertz it's always been october. Call of Duty releases in November, and people want to get their games out before Black Friday and Christmas both, while also staying away from the best selling game every year.

I think both of these games are going to be highly underrated gems. One can hope!

In my opinion this game has gotten worse over time. It started in a promising place and was getting great updates, but the devs actually ruined it for me. They introduced an update which changed how the ghosts behave and it made it very difficult to actually gather evidence, and my friends and I felt we were just being hunted and killed without a chance to identify the ghost too often. This game can be incredibly creepy and scary without feeling too real, but I would love to try it on VR.

I love playing Japanese games in Japanese and the Metro games in Russian, so when I play this game I'm glad I get the option to play in Arabic

Desperados III was the type of game that was really cool and I appreciated a lot, but I just felt like wasn't meant for me. If you're interested in this game, try the PS+ trial or go play Desperados III on PlayStation Plus and you just may love both!

Oh my God. They know how to craft a trailer, that's for sure! My only concern is that all the characters seemed to be moving around very slowly. Maybe with the grappling there is more movement but it didn't look too frantic, which I kinda want from FPS games.

Wonder if or how changes will impact trophies or questlines.

Payday 3 is just around the corner and I feel like I haven't seen anything from it, but that's probably just my fault. Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 will probably be epic, so I definitely want to see some gory footage. Death Stranding 2 is my most anticipated confirmed game, so I would LOVE to see a Kojima trailer dropped on our faces.

Haters can hate, but it's not coming from a place of reason. This game has not fundamentally changed from Overwatch 1, a critically acclaimed game of the year in 2016. The difference between then and now is the addition of a handful of heroes and maps, and also a lot of nice features and game modes. It's sad but true- this is not a sequel, even if they slap a number on it. Of course it is frustrating for devs to show progress on a PvE mode and reneg, but the review bombing is ridiculous, as per usual. This game is still an amazing multiplayer experience!

Deathloop is great, Nidhogg 2 is fun couch gaming, and don't sleep on Ghost Recon: Wildlands. It's actually a fun time for a bit, and with a couple more years of polish and different focus it could've competed with Metal Gear (it certainly emulates it)

Well he thinks this because it would mean less work for him and his team to bring things to multiple platforms, but he's wrong because competition is key for driving innovation and quality.

If it's "pushed forward", shouldn't it then be "pulled back"? The release date has been pulled back.
