Was hoping to bring my son into the current generation this year, may have to be second hand. Worrying to see increases this far into the generation.

Just had a boss picnic in the sunshine with the family and now looking forward to finishing the last two endings of Atomfall tonight. Top game overall 👍

My anxiety is taking a hammering this weekend with a kids birthday party and followed by a few drinks with some brand new friends. All I really want to do is have a glass of wine and play Atomfall, which continues to be a great time. Here's hoping for a cancellation 😂

Pretty wild headline. Like those shampoo adverts where it says 94% of 100 people agree and used as the definitive opinion on the matter.

My wife and kids are away until tomorrow, which leaves me to my own devices for the maybe the first time in about 3 years, so if I manage to make it home sober enough to play Atomfall that is indeed what I'll be doing.

The messaging side still seems woefully behind the curve. I would have thought they would have worked to integrate more discord features, or at least just allow me to address a specific person in a group chat?

I bought this on release as a show of faith in the devs but I'm ashamed to say it is still sealed. I must rectify this and start post haste. This update looks fantastic 👍

Picked up a bug during the week so have been convalescing with some Power Wash Simulator. Just the remedy.

Finished off Life is Strange: True Colours last night, fantastic entry in the series. Now my attention shifts back to Dead Island 2 and Assassins Creed Origins both of which are very early doors but liking them.

@Zeke68 Oh I know i have a relative privilege having at least one date, i feel your pain. The UK has become so prohibitively expensive that it might as well not be a date at all though.

This would be very cool if there was other UK dates. Going to London for anything costs a small fortune, oh well.

I have the use of both my ears this week which is welcome. Made a start on Assassins Creed Origins this week and also started Quantum Break. Thinking of taking a break from GoW Ragnarok for a bit as it was starting to drag. Atomfall is fast approaching too so may very well be after i'm done with that.

@DrVenture69 Thanks, friend appreciate it. I should have attacked the situation a long while ago. I have an appointment to have it cleared on Wednesday. Keeping up with the drops until then. Your situation seems a good level above mine, myst have been awful and over xmas to boot.

My left ear is completely blocked and has put dampener on my gaming enjoyment this week, but i would like to push on with God of War Ragnarok which has been incredible thus far.

@graymamba Yeah completely get that, I had many of those moments when playing through the collection. You’re in for a treat with A Thief’s End, the distillation of everything that is great about the series. Apparently Lost Legacy is even better so I still have treats ahead 😂

Lost Records is a huge win for the service, looking forward to that. My year of EA play on the old pricing structure is up on Wednesday and haven’t had chance to get to Jedi Survivor so happy with that. Top banana

@Kraven If this was a review for the game I would have picked it up day one no questions asked.

Hopefully finish up SE: Resistance on Series X, which has been fun enough but there is too many technical issues that have plagued my play through. My other order of business is concerning God of War: Ragnarok which is phenomenal so far and making a start on Dead Island 2 in preparation for some Push Square co-op action.

With Spider-Man 2 and its platinum firmly in the rear view mirror I can safely say I don’t need any more Insomniac or superheroes for a good long while. If I do get any gaming time I’ll be edging closer to 100% in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, absolutely love this game even if some of the collectibles and icons are a mess.

Surely they should be analysing why so few games are delivered in a playable state and actually finished way before anyone considers raising the base price of a so called ‘AAA’ game? The industry seems to have become very comfortable with the patch it later ethos

Shocking the amount of people who come to these articles to just laugh at those that find the act collecting trophies enjoyable, just like other aspects of gaming. It’s crap that the servers have shut down but the shear snobbery is worse.
