Just watched moist review not long ago and he gave it 45% and Charlie usually knows what's up with games. Taking his and pushsquare reviews I will just say the game not worth spending time on.
I spent around 25hrs in couple of days playing it and really enjoyed it. However, I just put it aside and didn't play since, but if the free upgrade also apply to ps+ given version then I will be happy to jump back and finish from where I started. If the save file will not be affected just because it's an upgraded version and not just update to the base game.
I just watched digital foundry's review and it seems like a disaster. To be fair, on the technical side. Not sure about story since I managed to stay spoilers free for the most part, but technically speaking it just looks the way I thought it will look. Flat and reminiscing of PS3 era type of games.
I tried Sky about month ago for the first time. It was and still is wonky at times, but I absolutely love the artistic approach. It is super chill, super kind game and I sunk like 35+ hours since.
At the times it didn't feel like there is much of a game going on there at all, but the online aspect just makes the game so much more fun than Journey was. The Auroras concert was state of the art too. Her voice is just amazing and songs are really something special.
The only annoying part is that it's grindy for the candles, and while candles aren't that hard to gather, but the other content is locked behind hearts , and those cost candles, then there is special candles, seasonal candles and so on. And best things like always is locked behind paywall. But to be fair, I love playing it and I love the relaxation this game provides.
Been having it vertical since day 1 when I got it, almost 2 years now and I haven't had a single issue with it overheating or else. Of course, I am not saying that's impossible to happen, but like every hardware, there are defects on some units.
I will be switching to new modular PS5 eventually anyways.
When did tlou2 release? 2020? I thought tlou multiplayer mode was suppose to come around a year later. It's now like 2023 and they only thinking to unveil it later this year.
I guess the scope and size of the project was tilted.
It seemed too flawed. Most of the time the shoot out is just them standing in exact middle of the corridor sponging bullets... Ehh.. i feel like if you want to be payday do things better, but it genuinely looks like payday 2 with downgraded gameplay elements.
Imagine if it was open world GTA styled game in 1980.
I'll skip for now. Genuinely never had that much of interest in VR. It looks cool and nice but playing games on a tv already can be distancing enough from the real world.
I almost bought PSVR 3 years ago when it was heavily discounted, but the amount of cables and complexity of it plus lack of proper PC support without a third parties work-arounds was a major factor to me. It's so much better this gen tho, but maybe next gen i will finally go for it. Heh
I don't think it's as good as 2018 GOW. I would rate it solid 8.5, graphics aren't that much different from PS4 era and there are gameplay improvements, diversity improvements, but I did miss the 'wow' factor to play in here. 5 years apart and it just felt more like actual continues sequel which it was, but I think it hid it's identity so it didn't make it feel like a brand new game. Rather like a full scale DLC.
Edit. To summarize GOW 2018 will forever stay my Game of the Year I guess.
Just my own thoughts. Also half a month later still no ps stars GOW preorder collectible.
@Digit2021 I am sure they been doing more in background than just focusing on the Witcher 3 in all that time. Besides, they aren't the largest studio out there too. It's hard to tell for sure, but like I said, even the whole generation above the original release, I doubt they will make it somewhat better than what PC version was already.
If you backtrack the original articles on Witcher 3 coming to consoles, back then it was a huge feast for them to pull it off. Many didnt believe it was possible to run that game on consoles and at launch it had horrible framerates.
I rather not hold my breath for it. It most likely will be the 60fps, better resolution with some mods implementation without any actual major overhauls to graphics engine or graphics itself.
Fingers tracking brings lots of tactical advantages on games. Especially the shooter ones. You could literally communicate with teammates without coms if needed.
It looks alright to me. I think it has potential to be the best NFS in years. Although I still wouldn't mind remake of underground 2 or 2005 most wanted. Even the enchanted versions would do it for me. Unbound sure looks like a solid arcade racer so far.
I prefer the faces closer to their original counterparts from the comincs. I couldn't imagine the newspapers guy any other than what he looks in Toby's spiderman and or harry in general was perfectly casted there. The new age spiderman just too... The far away from home was so boring I stopped halfway and never returned to it. I wish they stopped trying to replicate movie/voice actors and focus more on the comics looks.
I have it preordered. Launching in like 15 mins, but won't be playing tonight. Only tomorrow evening due to finishing work late. Anyways, I only like the coop aspect of these games. Can't wait to play it with my friend.
I love the dedication by Ubisoft. Also glad to see it being fixed. Now I can finally rejoin to have some mere fun. I would like to see a new instalment in the series however, with even more detailed and expanded map. And police reintroduced in the game
I used to be all over her few years back, tho I never watched any of her movies or know much about her at all. I do know that we feel mutual about PSP.
Plague tale works well with 30fps target. What doesn't work well is fast paced games, majority online games and shooters.
Cinematic slow paced games don't necessarily need to be running at 60fps. However you should be able to sacrifice graphical fidelity for higher ramerate if you wish to do so. It's not that hard to implement two modes...
@Max_the_German next game will be requiring to pay a playing fee each time you run it. So you will get charged hourly rate rather than full price at the start. Instead there will be a threshold of maximum 5euro per gameplay hour.
Just finished the game. Absolutely fantastic. Creativity on this game is over the roof. I also should thank ps stars programme for opportunity to play this game, since I got it recommended from playstation in the objective. Bravo

@Quintumply is it better than what
'rehydrated' remake was? I loved the SpongeBob remake game. If it matches the previous game I'm all in.

PlayStation and You: PSVR + playstation eye doesn't work.
Also you can't complete fighting month games with streaming mortal Kombat 11, it doesn't register that game unless you actually play PS5 version.
God of war preorder is a scam, I didn't get any figurine and I see people getting thousands of points yet I got nothing for it. Scam.
