Too many potentially great games coming up to waste time and $70 on a below average game that should have stayed in the oven for a few more months.

Probably by the time I buy it in a few months it will be less than half off and be fully patched, so those of us that wait will have the cheapest and best experience.

Usually when you're proud and confident in your product you want the game in the hands of reviewers as soon as possible, that way positive word of mouth can start to build up and lead to possibly more sales on release day.

My dad use to always tell me that an angel receives his wings everytime a live service game dies, though I'm not sure if I'm remembering what he said correctly 🤔

@Deoxyr1bose A clean 4K imagine plus faster loading by themselves (assuming there isn't even more improvements!) are a pretty big deal.

Yeah the game it's technically the same either way but I can say the same for it running on Vita, still the same game but I would rather play the ultimate and most polished version of the game which isn't the PS4 version.

I don't like being served scraps from the floor so when Atlus shows us the same respect they show Microsoft and give us proper PS5 versions then yeah I will buy them instantly at full price 👍

Wait Sony will regret it? 😅 Lucid Games would be lucky to only be considered a mediocre studio. I wish them success where ever they end up which hopefully won't be as a Sony studio.

One of my favorite games of all time but I can't support paying the same for something less than what Xbox is getting, when they announce a PS5 version on par with the series X then it will be a day one!

I'm able to separate the work from the artist to a point so I will be purchasing Hogwarts, it looks incredible so far and I'm sure the devs are putting everything they have into the game.

Don't particularly like J.K but the devs and cast don't deserve to suffer because of her words, I still certainly understand and support whoever wishes not to buy the game.

If they get purchased I would like for Sony to immediately fired president Yosuke and possibly put a restraining order so he can't enter the building, absolutely terrible what he has in store for the company.

I'm considering a class action lawsuit against you guys for not including Stellar Blade 🙂 it's a PlayStation exclusive and it's being published by Sony! 😅

Guerrilla moving forward desperately needs to search for good profesional writers to bring in, they have the tech down to perfection but it's like they had some new interns write all the story for HFW.

I haven't played Eden Ring yet but from what I've seen I would put over Horizon II which I did play, HFW is a beautiful looking game but Guerilla took absolutely zero chances with anything.

Is like they looked at a bullet point list of the standard things in an open world rpg and implement them one by one without trying to add anything else that deviates from the standard formula, still a fun game though!

The opinion on this game is all over the place based on the comments here! it's either one of the best games of the year, a giant pile of rotten filth or 100% pure meh.

Now this is the list where TLOU actually belongs in! Also a bit strange that The Witcher 3 wasn't even worthy of an Honourable mention 🥲

@UltimateOtaku91 It's not a full blown remake like Demons Souls or even Dead Space which will technically be a new experience with brand new story, characters, voice acting, etc.

Tlou Part 1 is still the same 2013 game at it's core, although I wouldn't qualify it as a remaster either since is using allot of new assets so maybe something in between remaster and remake.

Guerrilla games is probably wondering what did they ever do to us to deserve so much disrespect, surely it at least deserve to win best Graphical Showcase 😅

They couldn't improve the battery even a little bit so that it could at least match the current Dualsense!? Personally I wouldn't even pay $70 for this, I would rather buy one of the new color variants of the Dualsense.

I still believe Tencent is a much bigger threat to the industry then Microsoft, they are buying stakes and trying to own as many gaming companies across the world as possible.

Stellar Blade is still a day one purchase for me but I hope I don't even have to see Tencent branding anywhere in the game.

While I'm not very fond of the creator I won't let that spoil my fun 🙂 I've always wanted a Harry Potter game just like this so this is an instant day one purchase for me.

Sounds like a stealth way to move as much people as possible to digital. We know people can be lazy and once they get that unit home they probably won't bother buying the disc attachment and will just use as is.

Pretty sure anyone in this comments section can make a better box art in less than 10 minutes, you almost have to go out of your way to make sure it comes out this terrible.

I was fiercely campaigning for Horizon 2 not to be held down by last gen but now that it already released there follow through to the end! That's scummy to give all the players that bought the PS4 version a giant middle finger.

Having white leads didn't stop Uncharted, TLOU, most COD's (with many many more games!) from being successful so why did that only effect his game?

Thinking about it more this looks like a checkmate or at minimum a check. If Sony continues to try and block the deal they will be denying over 100 million players from getting cod to their platform.

Regulators will probably be satisfied now (FTC was said to be mostly satisfied before this) so if Sony doesn't sign that 10 year deal before the purchase goes through they won't even get those 10 years.

This is a actually nice chess move by Phil! He's basically saying that he would put resources for Nintendo to receive COD ports which it hasn't been getting.

He also got the full support of Gabe and Steam (Jim really thought putting their games on Steam would make them bff!), wouldn't surprise me if more figure heads in the gaming space start throwing their support for Microsoft.

@Hundred_Hand_Slap Well if in a couple of years they remaster this remake (and charge full price) then I will happily be in the front lines of the hate squad. As of now this looks incredible and is 100% warranted!

Will wait for Dead Space remake then I will buy it on discount, it does look really good though.

I personally would love a Burnout Paradise 2 but I'll take whatever they give me if they want to go back to the main entries or just remake the entire franchise which would be for the best.

While is quite funny seeing both companies continuing to throw themselves under the bus the joke has gotten a bit old, whatever is going to happen I want it to happen as soon as possible.

HFW winning storytelling is strange as that's easily the worst part of the game also while I'm a self declared fanboy of Stray there is no way it's better then Horizon and freaking GOW 😅

Hopefully they don't change their minds 🤞DLC for story heavy games usually doesn't advance anything foward and is there just to waste our time on meaningless stuff and telling us about something that happened midway into the game.

Yes keep patching this baby up! Once I find it at a discount I like I will be playing a silky smooth polished experience! Hopefully there will be like 10 more updates before I finally buy it 🤞

I would happily play a follow up as long as they remove the super move requirement to defeat someone. I still have nightmares of everyone running around the stage chasing orbs instead of actually fighting.

My go to voice for Batman for sure and looks like he was a great human being on top of everything. I do believe he was also the first person that gave Batman and Bruce Wayne distinct different voices, RIP Batman.

Usually I don't mind too much but It was really annoying in Forbidden West, there should have been an option to turn it off cause I was screaming at her to please be quiet for a bit.

Completely pointless waste of money tier that is only good for giving Sony more negative headlines for no reason. They could easily scrap it and just focus on improving PS Plus Extra while advertising how much value you're getting.

@UltimateOtaku91 Well the market is currently beyond oversaturated with all that junk so Sony is like someone featured in My 600-Lb Life trying to jump into a small pool with 1,000 people already inside.

I'm sure after the year ends both games will combine to take most of the goty awards, I'm also happy for their success and we can at least say that our Playstation is able to play both games!

Complete waste of money by Sony, if you're not going to aquire SE then keep the money to yourself which can be used on something that's not completely pointless.

I think throwing the money directly into a literal burning dumpster would be more beneficial for everyone, at least everyone would get to play the game 🤷

Both GOW & Elden Ring will win plenty of awards, there's plenty room for both to share the stage. Can't say the same for Horizon thought, maybe it wins some technical and graphics awards.

I don't think we expected anything less from Santa Monica, they have an incredible team over there that only push out quality.

I do feel a bit bad for Horizon 2 as is probably not going to win anything with Elden Ring and now this excellent GOW sweeping everything everywhere.

Very interested and would have paid that if it was backwards compatible since we would have 100's of games to play while we wait for more PSVR2 games to be made.

Well I've played every single game in the series so far going back to the PS3 games so with confidense I say they are very cheaply produced and are in the lower tier of JRPGs 😅

They recycle absolutely everything across most of the games which is not limited to backgrounds, assets, character models, dialogue, story, moves, menus, animations, etc.

I play them because the gameplay is really fun so I can ignore most of the stuff I mentioned and in the end we just want to have fun even if were nothing playing a goty super contender.

Still have my N64 cartridge in mint condition, will definitely be buying this! I feel like I loved every single N64 game I played although that's probably the kid in me talking.
