Re: Preview: Forspoken on PS5 Feels Like a Weird Tech Demo

Juanalf

Too many potentially great games coming up to waste time and $70 on a below average game that should have stayed in the oven for a few more months.

Probably by the time I buy it in a few months it will be less than half off and be fully patched, so those of us that wait will have the cheapest and best experience.

Re: Site News: Where's Our Forspoken PS5 Review?

Juanalf

Usually when you're proud and confident in your product you want the game in the hands of reviewers as soon as possible, that way positive word of mouth can start to build up and lead to possibly more sales on release day.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy the Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden Remasters?

Juanalf

@Deoxyr1bose A clean 4K imagine plus faster loading by themselves (assuming there isn't even more improvements!) are a pretty big deal.

Yeah the game it's technically the same either way but I can say the same for it running on Vita, still the same game but I would rather play the ultimate and most polished version of the game which isn't the PS4 version.

Re: Destruction AllStars Dev Now Helping Out on Sea of Thieves

@Cyberpsycho "Seems that you only get one shot with Sony they might soon regret it."

Wait Sony will regret it? πŸ˜… Lucid Games would be lucky to only be considered a mediocre studio. I wish them success where ever they end up which hopefully won't be as a Sony studio.

Re: Simon Pegg Revealed as the Voice of Hogwarts Legacy's Headmaster

Juanalf

I'm able to separate the work from the artist to a point so I will be purchasing Hogwarts, it looks incredible so far and I'm sure the devs are putting everything they have into the game.

Don't particularly like J.K but the devs and cast don't deserve to suffer because of her words, I still certainly understand and support whoever wishes not to buy the game.

Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5, PS4 Open World Game of 2022

Juanalf

I haven't played Eden Ring yet but from what I've seen I would put over Horizon II which I did play, HFW is a beautiful looking game but Guerilla took absolutely zero chances with anything.

Is like they looked at a bullet point list of the standard things in an open world rpg and implement them one by one without trying to add anything else that deviates from the standard formula, still a fun game though!

Re: Game of the Year: #9 - The Last of Us: Part I

Juanalf

@UltimateOtaku91 It's not a full blown remake like Demons Souls or even Dead Space which will technically be a new experience with brand new story, characters, voice acting, etc.

Tlou Part 1 is still the same 2013 game at it's core, although I wouldn't qualify it as a remaster either since is using allot of new assets so maybe something in between remaster and remake.

Re: Microsoft Invites Sony to Sign Its Own 10-Year Call of Duty Deal

Juanalf

Thinking about it more this looks like a checkmate or at minimum a check. If Sony continues to try and block the deal they will be denying over 100 million players from getting cod to their platform.

Regulators will probably be satisfied now (FTC was said to be mostly satisfied before this) so if Sony doesn't sign that 10 year deal before the purchase goes through they won't even get those 10 years.

Re: Microsoft Invites Sony to Sign Its Own 10-Year Call of Duty Deal

Juanalf

This is a actually nice chess move by Phil! He's basically saying that he would put resources for Nintendo to receive COD ports which it hasn't been getting.

He also got the full support of Gabe and Steam (Jim really thought putting their games on Steam would make them bff!), wouldn't surprise me if more figure heads in the gaming space start throwing their support for Microsoft.

Re: Disgruntled PS Plus Premium Members Can't Downgrade for Black Friday Discount

@Verzion214 @Jacko11 So you want them to just write what the news is and offer no opinion whatsoever? (unless is a positive opinion!) So basically you want the PlayStation equivalent to CNN 🀷

I like that you can open an article here and know which person wrote what without even looking at who wrote it, the best part of this site is that every editor has their own unique writing style and personality.

I think Playstationlifestyle would better fit your needs, there everyone pretty much writes the same and you will get no opinions on anything one way or the other.

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is Exclusive to PS5 for Six Months, Sony Confirms

Juanalf

Complete waste of money by Sony, if you're not going to aquire SE then keep the money to yourself which can be used on something that's not completely pointless.

I think throwing the money directly into a literal burning dumpster would be more beneficial for everyone, at least everyone would get to play the game 🀷

Re: The Dark Pictures Brings a Fresh Rush of Blood to PSVR2

Juanalf

"With the PS VR2 headset eye tracking, we made enemies that only move when you blink"

So would it be considered cheating if I tape my eyelids open? πŸ€” But yeah this sounds amazing and innovative, I hope this does so well that Sony may be incline to greenlight Until Dawn 2.

Re: Star Ocean: The Divine Force (PS5) - Space Age JRPG Barely Takes Flight

Juanalf

@thefourfoldroot1 "Hey, what’s wrong with Hyperdimension Neptunia?!"

Well I've played every single game in the series so far going back to the PS3 games so with confidense I say they are very cheaply produced and are in the lower tier of JRPGs πŸ˜…

They recycle absolutely everything across most of the games which is not limited to backgrounds, assets, character models, dialogue, story, moves, menus, animations, etc.

I play them because the gameplay is really fun so I can ignore most of the stuff I mentioned and in the end we just want to have fun even if were nothing playing a goty super contender.
