The game died in it's first week, that's actually pretty impressive! Twitch streamers and players in general aren't just going to start playing it for no reason so It will be f2p within the month and be shut down by the end of the year.

Is pretty shocking to me how much money Sony has invested in an ip and company that's not even theirs! If Japan Studio's games received just 1/20 of this very aggressive marketing they would probably still be around

There's already two demos available, just boot up either of the two Marvel's Spider-Man games 🤷

I will wait for reviews and if is not omg easy goty contender than I will wait for discount, I can't pay the premium for every very good or good game that releases

The "not available on other formats until 12.31.2023" at the bottom looks quite goofy. I imagine the cash they are paying to keep it off PC for a few months and from Xbox forever must be enough to at least fund half a game, maybe an jrpg of their very own!

While it's a great game on it's own I would not put it over the "Halo Killer" Killzone 2 🙂

It was nice going 2-3 weeks without hearing about this tiring saga but of course happiness can't last for too long or else 🥲

I do think they had the strongest showing from all the recent presentations! I want a strong Xbox so Sony don't fall asleep on the wheel, they need strong competition. Also I'm still not over the awfully named Fairgame$, that alone made me pick Xbox's event over Sony 🙂

I really hope Xbox has an amazing showing and easily beats Sony's and Gamefest's showing! Sony is at it's best when it feels pressure from the competition

Even if you remove the music and main character it still looks like a cheap mobile game, just search your phone's store right now and you'll find dozens that look like this and better.

They look pretty awful but I'll be glad just to have them there just cause, I do wish to see more comic book costumes which I'm sure they will add.

Sweet Tooth looks pretty good! with the positives out of the way man that was awful, I was completely overwhelmed by the cringe

While Street fighter 6 looks quite excellent and deserves that perfect score let's never forget their 40/40 Nintendogs score 😅 #neverforget

I'm not asking for nothing groundbreaking just folders on the main screen 🥲 the PS5 UI shouldn't feel like a downgrade from the PS4 and even the simple yet to the point PS3 UI!

@Ken_Kaniff I have a 8TB external for the PS4 games and I couldn't imagine having a smaller one, is great having all my games installed at the same time and switching when I please.

I think a 4TB for the PS5 is the perfect size although that price tag sure isn't 🙂

@Anti-Matter So how's work coming along on the game? You guys planning to use some of the Dualsense features like haptic feedback? 🙂

I legitimately would want to meet and shake hands with the person that would pay $60 for this! them asking for $20 would still be extremely bold and courageous

I hope they are going with something that at least looks a bit fresh and doesn't look exactly like the 3 previous games.

I'm interested in the device and I don't even mind the price is just there isn't at least one must play game yet, there a few pretty good games and a bunch of shovelware but nothing that's worth running out and getting one.

Honestly I don't even see Sony in the future making such a title. A big budget AAA game made by a first party Sony studio with a high marketing budget? I will eat my words if I'm wrong but I just don't see Sony giving a game like that the greenlight. 🤷

As for Rocksteady yeah they should have but thanks to management they were forced to make a live service SS game which will flop severely which in turn will result in job cuts and potentially studio closure 🤦

So he expects the PS5 overall to sell less than the PS4? Not sure that's how I would choose to flex but whatever what do I know 🤷

@MFTWrecks Like many have said it was a great multiplatform showcase but a terrible Playstation one, why do you think Xbox was celebrating like it was them that just had a showing?

When Xbox is claiming victory over your showcase then you know you probably put too many multiplatform games. This was supposed to be a PlayStation studios showcase but there was barely any, a few of the exclusives that were shown were dog water live service games that look like ass (hi Fairgame$!).

Spiderman didn't even look that impressive, looked just like the original imo (talking just graphics!). I'm confident in saying it won't look as good as HFW or Burning shores.

Obviously were talking just graphics here and nothing else! Still haven't played the original Alan Wake but part 2 has a tough battle with Burning Shores in being the prettiest game if that's all they are going for 🤷

Jade promised (multiple times) something groundbreaking and genre defying! Fairgame$ doesn't look like any of those, in fact it looks like the exact opposite of those things. On top of that it has one of the worst names I've seen recently, way worst than Forspoken!

Can't be too surprised when you hire a bunch of ex Ubisoft employees and they make a Ubisoft game 🤷 I will be upset if after this game bombs they are allowed to continue to exist while other wayyy more talented studios like Japan Studio stay buried.

Looks like useless junk to me! like everyone is saying they basically copied the wii u, why? Why not copy the more successful and useful Switch? I hope this device bombs so hard that Sony will have to ship them away to Ukraine

Unless the Switch version is cloud based I don't see why they wouldn't go for the extra cash? I'm just thinking from a business perspective why they would leave money on the table with them having already technically made a last version 🤔

They all can charge $150 for all I care 🤷 I still have never payed $70 for any game this generation and I have most of the big releases. Those of us who wait for the games to be heavily discounted not only benefit from a cheaper price but from a fully patched experience!

I'm glad a studio is really focused on releasing a game that's very polished and won't require lots of updates just to be acceptable, at the same time this doesn't exactly look like something that needs that kind of attention 😅

I think a complete reboot would be perfect, the story line is all over there place now I hope everything is fresh even the art style and designs of the characters.

Gravity Rush is practically already a playable anime so that should be the easiest and fastest to make. I would also love a very graphic Bloodborne Anime along with Horizon!

It was another Sony studio that didn't make the same old same old just like Japan Studio, If Mm next game isn't an instant hit they will be next on the chopping block.

I never thought I would see the day when possibly some random 600 pound plus guy could realistically compete and earn an Olympic gold medal 🙂

I got my PS5 a little later after launch and I've yet to spend $70 on any game. I also have every mayor first party PS5 game except GOW2 (waiting for that sweet discount!).

If I know within 2-4 months the games will be on sale (plus fully patched!) why would I pay that hefty price tag? I don't have plans on dying anytime soon so I'll happily play the waiting game and get anything with a $70 price tag on sale 🙂

It can absolutely be done on PS4, that's not even debatable. They might have to put a little bit more man power on it, they would also have to use the regular clouds from the base game instead of the new ones but it could still be on PS4 (obviously downgraded but still playable).

Well that's a bit disappointing I really wanted something else like a new IP or Killzone 😕
At the very least I would like a completely new writing staff for part 3! I've enjoyed everything from HFW except the story, characters, dialogue, etc.

You can say allot of things about the writing in Forbidden West but one thing that's not debatable is that is an absolutely gorgeous game, as good as you're going to see on any platform!

I don't suppose it's on the table that they make something else? They divorced Microsoft because they didn't want to make Halo games forever but they will make Destiny forever?

@WallyWest I agree that there's no reason for it to be PS5 only. I'm one of the people screaming at Sony to leave the PS4 behind but since you already released the base game there why not just finish and not screw over PS4 owners that bought the game?

I'm currently finishing HFW Platinum and it's a really beautiful game, I would give it 10/10 in graphics and I'm playing it on performance mode! That said they put too much junk in it, it makes me sigh everytime I have to look at all the icons in the map.
