Re: Kingdom Hearts 4, Silksong, Dragon Ball Among Most Wanted Games at Summer Game Fest

I'm desperate for more KH IV news I think now that both FF XVI and VII Rebirth have both released they'll start promoting KH IV soon. I think it'll be Square's next big game. I've said in the past I think the infamous "Now In Development" meme from KH III's Dev cycle kinda hit the team hard and they're waiting until KH IV is borderline finished before promoting it like Square did for VII Rebirth. That game got formally announced like 8 months before it released I understand why KH IV was announced too early they were caught between a rock and a hard place if they turned up to the 20th anniversary event with nothing but a trailer for a mobile phone game they would've had a fan base revolt on their hands πŸ˜…

So annoying Mega Man 11 did great and people loved it after that hideous era of no Mega Man for an eon we got that and it felt like a new era would start. Instead The Blue Bomber got thrown back into the basement again for 6 years and this is the first big thing they do with him since? Honestly it feels like PS3/360 Era CAPCOM is slowly starting to rear it's ugly head again 😭

@Dragoon1994 I'm so desperate for more KH IV stuff πŸ˜… I get what they're doing and I respect it they're clearly holding off until the game is mostly done so there's no repeat of the infamous "Now In Development" meme from the KH III days I think that got to them a bit. I think the only reason they announced it early is because if they showed up to the 20th anniversary event with just a trailer for a mobile phone game there would've been riots πŸ˜…

Re: Kingdom Hearts Surfaces to Celebrate Launch of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

I've been theorising for a while now that they were waiting until this game was out before marketing KH4 and they're waiting until it's almost done before marketing like how Rebirth only got announced 8 months out from release. I think that "Now In Development" meme from the KH III lead up got to them and they want to avoid it this time I feel like the only reason they announced it at all was because it was the series 20th anniversary in 2022 let's be real if they showed up to the 20th anniversary event with just a trailer for a mobile phone game there would've been riots πŸ˜…. Can't wait for KH IV hopefully it's either out end of this year or sometime next year I know it doesn't feel like it but it's been over half a decade since KH III came out I'm starved for a new game πŸ˜
