@Korgon Same with the example I used Naotora was from a Musou game and she was so fun to play as in DOA she fit in really well too because well Koei and Tecmo always had very similar artsyles in their games even before they merged Tecmo were always basically Koei with production values lol. Not to mention there was....another reason Nao-chan fit so well into DOA 😅

I am really fatigued with this series 😅. After the announcement of Ghost Of Yotei I weep even more since that game is doing what I wanted TLOU II to do make the series an anthology about different characters

Eva looks stunning 😍. I really hope this is good Snake Eater is my favourite Metal Gear game so I hope they don't screw it up so far it looks really good and pretty much a 1-1 remake which is what I personally prefer if only Silent Hill 2 got this treatment instead of Resident Evil 2 REmake at home made by one of the worst horror game studios there is 😅😭

@Korgon I'm with you there I'm happy for the folks who are excited but I have no interest in SNK stuff so I'd rather half of the season of characters not be taken up by FF/KOF characters. I'm not entirely opposed to guest characters I loved DOA 5 having Naotora from Samurai Warriors but these days I feel guests are getting too much priority.

Love Jin to bits so if we get another game with him even if a small Lost Legacy type thing I'll be happy I feel his story was complete anyway besides maybe where things would go with Yuna (GET TOGETHER ALREADY YOU COWARDS!!!😅). Besides in Tenchu Ayame was always my favourite character so I'm not complaining that Ghost 2 has a female lead most of my favourite game characters are girls anyway

Ghost Of Yotei obviously looks incredible but for me the highlight was Soul Reaver I'm a long starving Legacy Of Kain fan and this re-release is a dream come true. I wish we got Defiance and Blood Omen 2 as well but hey maybe another time if this does well 🤞

Was gonna replay Both Horizons soon anyway so might as well wait and nab this I mean given what was shown for a tenner it is quite a steal. Again this didn't need to exist but it does I love this series and it's a ridiculous bargain given the upgrade it's gotten if it was full price I wouldn'tve got it but again for a tenner ok you got me 😅. Plus if I get to enjoy a version of Horizon without those abominable PS4 load times then I'm all for it 😅

@Matroska Jin has become one of my favourite game characters but yeah his amazing story feels complete. To be honest as much as I adore Jin and Yuna I was low key hoping they'd go the anthology route with this series

@QiaraIris Nomura didn't write Remake or Rebirth Kashishige Nojima and Motumo Toriyama are responsible for the VII R series story take it up with them and stop blaming Nomura. He only directed part 1 because he was told to he didn't direct Rebirth

It will probably come as no surprise but this is pretty devastating to me this man is my hero but good god he's earned it. I really hope if he retires he does end KH like Metal Gear it's one of those series that's been driven by the creator and I wouldn't want it in anyone else's hands as the old saying goes don't be sad because it's ending smile because it happened this series means the universe to me and I'm grateful for a every second of joy it has brought me. Thank you Nomura and also my other hero Yoko Shimomura because lord knows her sensational, legendary music contributed a lot well looks like our Summer Vacation's are finally over😭😭😭😭 time to sit on a rooftop with some sea salt ice cream and watch the sun set

PS5 Exclusivity is not why these games "underperformed" at the end of the day FF just isn't the brand it used to be XVI was the first numbered entry since X that was actually great over two decades of mediocre and bad games will diminish faith in a brand not to mention tonnes of people complaining about the action combat. And Rebirth as I've pointed out numerous times sold poorly because of course it did VII "Remake" was an incredibly decisive game that completely split the community in two. Lots of people like myself absolutely hated what they were doing with the story and didn't buy Rebirth as a result of that (again I hate that I have to say this but no shade on people who like the VII R games but people are well within their rights to hate the story changes and it's obviously a contributing factor to Rebirths lower sales) People have simply lost faith in Square and are more hesitant about buying their games now Multiplatform releases won't change that

It was very weird to see the absence of FF and KH bots and for me personally no Drakengard cameos (Drakengard has literally never been on another platform other than Playstation to this day so a Caim and Angelus cameo would've been appreciated)

Maybe create or acquire some more 1st party Japanese Studios that will pay for itself with variety. We could have DMC style character action games, JRPGs, Survival Horror etc. If you wanted to make a big killer acquisition that could solve all of these problems try to court Koei Tecmo. Think about it they're awesome the Warriors series, gusts JRPGs, Ninja Gaiden and Ni-Oh for action, you get a big fighting series with DOA and one of the best horror series in all of gaming Project Zero just saying.
