I’m still cranking away at a lot of the PS5 Plus Collection for the first time so it’s hard for me to complain (just beat Arkham Knight last night, onto TLoU 1 now). March probably takes the cake with FFVII for me though. Nevertheless I’m still all in for a PS Plus/Now overhaul!

I’ve amassed a hearty collection of VR games from things like Plus and the Play at Home initiatives, that I haven’t been able to play with the PS5 being my first venture into Sony gaming. This might actually be a deal-breaker for me if it’s a no, as I was banking on actually being able to check out all of those titles with the new hardware. Seems utterly pointless to invest in two different headsets imo.

I’m really itching to jump back in for some Spidey side quests after seeing the new movie, especially with the incentive of the new suits in Remastered. My PS5 is still packed up from my journey between college and home, but maybe I’ll find the time to dive in this weekend!

WB is gonna be dominating my future game time between this, Hogwarts, and maybe (just maybe) Gollum...

Still holding out for this one just because the whole thing seems so silly, there’s no way I couldn’t get at least some enjoyment out of it!

Actually stoked about LEGO here! My little bro and I have been marathoning the LEGO games and DC Villains is coming up for us fast, so this is great timing that’ll definitely save us some money

On-rails shooter is a better option that most of the half-baked open-world/platformer shlock that licensed movie games have gotten a lot of recently. Looks fun and decent for its target audience!

If they were to incorporate voice acting, licensed music, and a more well-rounded roster, this would be a no-brainer for me. They've hinted at such things coming along via DLC down the line, but as it stands I'll either wait for a drastic sale or just hold off entirely.

I understand and agree with a lot of the criticism pointed at this corporate nonsense, but the ridiculousness of that headline and way of incorporating the character into the game is admittedly hilarious to me…

Honestly one of my most anticipated games at the moment! Glad to finally hear some news about it, I’m gonna be such a sucker for the big franchise tie-ins within the next year between this, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hogwarts Legacy, and yes, even that Gollum game (sue me😂).

Neat! As a newbie to this franchise, are there any qualms with starting on the fourth game? Any big overarching story that starts back in #1?

Central Park and Schmigadoon have my votes at the moment! They’re both releasing new episodes right now, so if you need to scratch that musical theatre/comedy itch they are well worth a watch

People really need to rip off the nostalgia glasses before offering these takes. I watched the first Space Jam in preparation for the new one and it’s the same amount of average yet innocent fun, just that one is coated in 90’s nostalgia and the other in obviously more current pop culture saturation.

A key component missing from this and the kart games is voice acting. I know it’s probably not feasible to bring back the bigger names like Tim Curry as Nigel for something like this, but SURELY they could scrounge up enough archival recordings to ensure that these characters retain some of their personality? Seeing a bunch of half-baked character models alone does not do much for me. The last Nick game I can remember including voice was Nicktoons MLB which wasn’t that long ago, right?

Nice, I grabbed the PS4 version as part of one of those super cheap indie bundles a few months back. Played on Switch before that, it’s good dumb fun especially with a friend.

Avatar and Guardians take the cake for me since I’m a sucker for the licensed stuff. Let’s hope they turn out well.

If Ring Fit on Switch is anything to go by, turning non-gaming activities into games can really make them alluring to someone like me. I never got around to really devoting myself to learning guitar while in lockdown (piano took the cake then), but this may be right up my alley! The subscription base is a definite turn-off though, I’d much rather just pay a one-time fee and be done with it.

Picked this up on sale and then immediately held off from starting as soon as the PS5 version was announced. Looks like it may be time to dive in soon!

As an outsider to the series, it’s something I’d willingly give a go as a PS Plus freebie. Already incredibly content with Oddworld for next month, though!

Gotta be honest, as a huge fan of the movies I was so on board for the idea of a Bethesda-helmed Indiana Jones game. Now, with how unlikely it is to come to PS5, not so much...

This is fantastic. I’ll finally give FF7 my first go and Maquette really piques my interest as well. The lack of an option to upgrade is disappointing as I totally would’ve paid for the extra stuff, but I’m not gonna drop $70 when I can still experience just about everything on offer for free now
