I played the first thinking it might be interesting but ehhh, what a slog. I understand that a game about mental illness isn't supposed to be fun or a good time but it basically was about lining up symbols in the environment while endless chatter repeated lines like "You can't do it!....Yes, you can!!!" I'll pass on this when it gets a PS5 release to try to recover its development costs.
Pretty sure no one was bothered by Nioh 1's protagonist being a white guy as it was made by Team Ninja, an actual Japanese developer who (surprisingly) are staffed by actual Japanese people. It's their history, so I think they can do what they want.
If I could dislike that trailer more than once, I would. It's Ubisoft that I (and most others) hate as a company. Remember this is the company that said you should "get used to not owning their games", countless tales of employee abuse, charging $130 for 3 whole days of early access, saying Skull and Bones was a "AAAA" title that justified a $70 price tag, deleting The Crew from your library and god know what other stuff I'm forgetting. If defending Ubisoft is the hill you're willing to die on, than good luck with that. I'll never buy their games again, never. But sure, go ahead and claim its racism. Whatever.
Indika - what a weird game, I'm enjoying it. About an hour in, impressed with what I've played so far. Diablo 4 - finally tried out a seasonal character, grinding Helltides but getting decent exp from them so it's good to play while I listen to music. Athenian Rhapsody - looked insane so I picked it up and yup, it's insane all right. But funny, which i needed right now after serious games lately. Doing a pacifist run.
There's no way the 2 latest games are better than the original trilogy. I'll take gameplay over family drama and handholding (literally and figuratively) any day of the week.
The only reason I played some of Remake was that I got it thru PS+, otherwise I would've ignored it just like 16 and Rebirth. That type of gameplay is not what I want from a Final Fantasy game.
Rise of the Ronin - just got to Edo, I'm really enjoying this, love being able to counter-spark (parry) and murder my enemies, so fun! Star Ocean 2nd Story R - pretty far in this, home-screen says I'm at 75% of the story, its good fun as well. Alan Wake 2 - restarted a new game as I never finished my 1st playthrough back in November. Just got thru Coffee World. Man, what a soundtrack!
Stasis: Bone Totem - pretty interesting game so far, kinda bummed out that it doesn't have a Plat trophy though. Sinking City - on the last mission now, did all the side quests so I'm ready to finish this. I got the plat for Taxi Life over the week so I needed a new game to play while I listen to music and No Man's Sky is doing nicely.
The Sinking City - I got this pretty cheap and it's decent. At first I wasn't sure but it grew on me and now I want to finish it. I like how you find locations by searching through the city archives instead of it beings handed to you. And discovering that loot respawns took away any ammo concerns. Taxi Life - got patched a few days ago and those pauses that happened are gone and fewer cars are ramming into me, gonna get that Plat! Lies of P - enjoying this more now that I've got other games to play when I get frustrated with a boss.
Good for them, they've certainly earned the right to do whatever they want to. It's gonna be a while for sure but will be worth the wait, 100% confident in that.

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Pre-Orders Already 'Looking Very Strong'
Let me know when they have an actual preorder count, not some bs speculation by "those in the know"

Re: Live-Action Tomb Raider Series Officially Ordered by Amazon Prime Video
I thought the "Phoebe was writing the series" was a joke but apparently it's not. Just wonderful...

Re: Religious Indie Game INDIKA Handed Final PS5 Release Date of 17th May
Nice to see a release date, I've been checking the store like every few hours since the 9th came and went without any news.

This is pretty cool. Horizon may not be my favorite series but this is awesome. Post your results if you try this!

Re: Deliver Us Mars Dev Lays Off Team Due to Lack of Publishing Options
This sucks, I really enjoyed both Deliver games and would definitely buy a 3rd. I hope they can find a publisher willing to take a chance.

Re: Hands On: Fallout 4 Next-Gen Runs Great on PS5, But Some Old Problems Persist
Seems fine so far, I know the ps4 version would struggle when it tried to do smoke/fog effects.
Re: Alien: Rogue Incursion Confirmed for PSVR2, Out This Year
This is not Alien Isolation 2 (grumble)
Re: Video: Does Fallout 4 Look Better on PS5?
Playing in 60 fps was worth the upgrade, especially if you got it for free.

Re: Stellar Blade (PS5) - A Stellar PS5 Debut Destined to Become a Fan Favourite
@nessisonett You seem to have no problem playing Ubisoft games though, odd.
Re: TopSpin 2K25 (PS5) - A Killer Serve 13 Years in the Making
Yeah, it sounds good but $70 for the regular PS5 version is way too much for a tennis game, sorry.

Empty chests no longer appear on the mini map, finally
Re: Players of PS5, PS4 Racer Disney Speedstorm Are Seething with Road Rage
It's Disney and Gameloft, what else did you expect except greed

More Star Wars, no thanks

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 522
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for April 2024 Announced
I'll give Immortals and Skul a try, no interest in Minecraft Legends
Re: 6v6 Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Officially Announced, But There's No Mention of PS5
Oh no, what a loss. Reading more on it, it's one of those "multiverse" games, how exciting

Stasis:Bone Totem is something I'm excited for, can't wait!

I'm pretty interested in this, it seems weird enough that I can overlook some jank. If the price is decent, I'm game.
Re: No Baldur's Gate 3 DLC from Larian Studios, and It's Not Making Baldur's Gate 4 Either

Re: PSN Is Currently Down, Seemingly a Widespread Issue
I'm able to still download games but it's slower than usual.
Re: PSN Is Currently Down, Seemingly a Widespread Issue
I tried getting online, console shows its connected but wouldn't let me play online, said I had "no multi-player rights" something like that
Re: PSN Is Currently Down, Seemingly a Widespread Issue
That explains why the ps app wouldn't update like 5 minutes ago
