Actually yes I was really drunk when I replied to you and couldn't find your original comment but I remember reading it as as you saying people were using the character to assume the moral high ground which still makes perfect sense but you said the character itself is on the moral high ground.

Maybe people wouldn't need to use the character in that way if people like you weren't trying to eradicate these character designs from their hobby.

@RoomWithaMoose Yeah that's fine, I was pacifically refering to the part of your now deleted or removed comment where you stated you were annoyed at the people who like this sort of thing because they think they have the moral high ground.

Except whenever I see a discussion or heated debate about this sort of thing the comments are usually filled with remarks like you're incels and perverts, or you're juvenile and childish. For example this comment section is full of them. That to me is one side trying to act superior and look down on the other because they already assume they have the moral high ground.

@Gamestation They could hit the point when they need to expand again if PC, Mobile and Playstation becomes not enough to sustain them and they can't find a way to reduce budgets.

PC & Mobile gaming are massive markets though so if they are successful on them then I'd imagine they'll be able to easily hold out until AI becomes advanced enough to reduce game budgets. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

It's true that consoles are almost constantly hitting a market saturation point now. There is growth and I'd imagine there always will be but the growth is miniscule at this point and can't keep up with the ballooning budgets. The dilemma Sony faces is they need to expand without cannibalising their ecosystem/store. Which is exactly what they are trying to do now with a Pc and mobile push. Will it work or not, who knows but honestly I don't really care if it does or not. I'm bored of this debate and whatever happens, happens.

Unfortunately I missed the demo but I've just watched someone play it on YouTube and it looks great to me, I'm sure we'll all get to try it though when the demo drops but I'm even more confident about my preorder now.

I'm glad this is good news for Rebirth seeing as it didn't release until the 29th and Helldivers seems to be a smash hit. They are both great games so they deserve it.

Ngl this did have a slight uplifting effect on me. I wasn't sure at first but by the end I can safely say I kinda enjoyed it.

@JohntheRaptor It's front loaded because a lot of companies want their games out before their fiscal year ends. I'm sure we'll still get plenty of games getting release dates after their Q4.

Japan is in a recession so consumer spending has declined but they do make more money from sales abroad because of the weak yen at the moment so there's an upside I guess.

Yeah it seems like a real missed opportunity to have that as the box art it would definitely get people's attention, I would also pick that vinyl in a heartbeat.

So he amended it to say just Remake and Rebirth are confirmed to be playstation console exclusive. Yeah but if the first 2 are then the odds are that Part 3 will also be playstation console exclusive.

The guy who leaked this says Starfield will be announced for PS5 between November & December and then the big well established Xbox franchises will be announced in 2025 for PS5 and apparently he has a 100% track record on his leaks coming true so far.

@MaikonCSGarcia Yeah I've heard this before but when you Google it all you get is articles saying it was in the leaked documents at the ftc court case and multiple articles from places like IGN saying it is only timed for 3 months. There is one article I found though that says when the developers were asked they said they have no plans for a PS5 release at this time which is just the typical response from most studios when asked about timed exclusivity.

This makes sense since S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is only a timed Xbox exclusive for 3 months so this will drum up interest for when it inevitably makes its way to playstation.

Sony actually has some experience in high bit rates and 4k compression through their work with with movies and Cinema quality cameras etc. They have also worked with iSize before and recently acquired them so I wouldn't be surprised if they also had something to do with this as well.

@atthegates The fact that there's 4 player co-op in Ronin probably limited how far they can push the graphics while still trying to get a stable frame rate.

I'm not sure where everyone gets this idea that Dogma looks great from. I watched the 18 minutes gameplay on IGN and the graphics are nothing special.

@K1LLEGAL I've never had an interest in sea of thieves but I'll probably play Hifi Rush eventually. I've got so many games that I want to play and need to get through first that by the time I'm ready for it I'll probably get it in a sale or something. I've also owned every generation of Xbox apart from this one. I don't actually hate Xbox I just dislike a lot of the things they do these days and the direction they've been going.
