@Ralizah Well this discount seems to be working because the PSVR2 is currently outselling the Quest 3, the Xbox Series S & X and even the PS5 digital on Amazon right now.

Yeah it looks okay to me, I wonder what the story is about though.

Well hopefully it leads to Overwatch's demise even though I have no interest in playing it.

I have no interest in Concord but I can't help but think this game would actually perform better on PS5 (sales wise) if there was no PC version at all.

There would be definitely be less people kicking up a stink about it but oh well you reap what you sow I guess.

@Ravix Yeah with the article talking about early access I didn't realise it was out yet so yeah you're probably right and that's it also it probably got a decent amount of day 1 £70 buyers so that has something to do with its top 10 in the country ranking.

@Ravix Well I've just checked the PS app and I'm in the UK but it is sitting at 40th for me.

Edit: I guess you're looking at the top 10 games in your country list and I was looking at the best selling preorders.

I wonder why there's such a discrepancy between the two.

I feel like these insiders have been saying "if it releases this year" for a while now.

I think it is safe to say only Sony knows if or when it will release.

Thankfully as TLOU 2 just proved, the comments on here are no indication of what's actually happening in the real world so I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it does in the open beta and sales charts.

Further proof that gamers have become more and more nostalgia driven and just want to consume the same thing over and over.

No mention of 2023 being a record breaking year for how many PS5's were sold? Ofc sales are down, as others have said it is time for a permanent price cut, maybe alongside the Pro if that's actually a thing and Cod should've skipped last Gen this time round as well.

@themightyant Yeah I'm aware people have different opinions but I feel like people's standards are getting lower.

The first episode was interesting I won't deny that but the slow motion action scene was pretty terrible. Maybe I was harsh giving the last episode a 4/10 but let's say I gave it a 6/10 and the first episode is a 7/10 then still think there's still no way this show should be getting rated as highly as it does.

Again yeah sure it's just an opinion but I feel Fallout fans have a massively inflated opinion of how good this show actually is and a lot of people who are new to it just got caught up in the hype.
Though it probably doesn't help that by the time Fallout 4 dropped I had lost interest in it as franchise so maybe I'm overly harsh but even then I still think it is clear people are being far too generous with their ratings for this show.

Edit: I also think as time goes by a lot of people opinions are going to change as well.

Honestly I'm surprised how well this show was received. I would give it a 6/10 and I think that's generous because the last episode was so bad I regretted even watching it in the first place.

I would say most episodes are about a 6 or maybe a 7/10 max at a push but the last episode was a like a 4/10.

I'm hoping Evotinction looks a lot more polished now and Daba actually looks pretty decent already but I just wish they'd change the names of them to something more attention grabbing.

@UltimateOtaku91 It seems Sony's just taking a chance on it and if they can actually become something even slightly comparable to the Pokémon company then it will have obviously paid off.

They must think the potential for toys, anime/live action movies and even a card game from the IP is worth it also Aniplex actually handles some very successful mobile games like FGO so maybe they could eventually make something together and I'm sure it'll get a big player boost with an inevitable PS5 port paired with another update.

@Mikey856 People were posting pics of it being back in the UK last night but when I checked it was still down for me.

I just checked again though and it is back now for me and all my points are accounted for so just give few hours it'll probably sort itself out.

Yeah it is back and working for me. All my points are there as well, even for purchases made during its downtime.

So they stopped attending as soon as Jim Ryan took over but now he's gone they went back.

Well hopefully they can do some networking with the Japanese Devs and publishers when they are there and strengthen their position in Japan.

@BAMozzy Yeah why haven't they closed Halo down? I mean Helldivers is averaging 11x more players and Infinite isn't in the top 30 either so you'd think they'd shut that down as well.

Bamozzy your numbers are useless because you don't know how many players are actually needed or how much people are actually spending or their server costs for that matter. All they need to do is keep chugging along until their next update and if people come back then they come back but if not then the game could close down tomorrow and it would still be a success because of the 12 million sales.

Well this looks a lot more interesting than Awoved and it also looks like it would work well in VR as well.

Yeah I never bought Borderlands 3 even though I've been tempted a couple of times so that'll do me.

In other news the sky is blue and water is wet but seriously though I wouldn't be surprised if they still sold a separate disk attachment so people can play their discs.

@TheFakulty I've just checked my download list because I don't buy many digital games. I prefer physical and the Castle of illusion full game conversation key is 5.9kb and separate from 448mb timed trial also the Sonic CD key is separate as well so I hope that helps and yeah good luck. 👍

@TheFakulty Yeah that download list is slow and painful, when you check the download list check to see if there is a separate download key that changes the game from trial to full game.

If I'm remembering correctly the actual game is separate from the key.

@TheFakulty Yeah you'll be best off just taking it up with Sony because I own Sonic CD as well and I still have the full version of that but I'm in the UK so maybe it is something with the regions or something.

I've never played this but I liked castle of illusion as a kid so maybe I'll check this out.

Just restore licences on your PS3 and I'd imagine that will fix it.

Seems like it did okay, actually quite similar to Lies of P but that game was multiplatform and from reading the press breafing it seems one of Shift Up's main goals was brand recognition and basically just establishing themselves in the console space.

That's a smart goal really when a lot of gamers, probably more than ever before seem to just be nostalgia driven and just flock to familiar names when it comes to game purchases.

Lists a bunch of games that are also going to be on PSVR2 in a way that makes it seem they are only going to be on Meta.

Doesn't state the fact that the missing features on PC aren't there because they have to be implemented individually at a developer level.

Yeah Aniplex has published games separate from playstation for years, like that mobile game, Fate Grand Order that has generated Sony over $7 billion in revenue to date.

@nedbvai Some of them were delisted on Xbox a decade ago. Like Marvel Vs Capcom 2 and Origins etc.

It wasn't bad I saw enough games I want to play although I already knew about most of them so I suppose I didn't actually need to tune in at all.

Still though these are the games I'm interested in.

Well at least everything I'm hearing about Astro Bot sounds great so I'll definitely be there day one.

This was definitely an underrated game when it released but it got a bit of a cult following as the years went on.

@Kiefer-Sutherland The controls are inverted. You just change them in the settings and they are perfectly fine after that.

@Specky Well you can't exactly expect every game to be a masterpiece but the general consensus is the game is still good and that's enough for most people.

Of course Phil tries to frame it as we're being the nice guys but the truth is he can't afford to do anything that will piss off the playstation cod playerbase because he desperately needs the game to sell, otherwise he probably would also if I remember correctly he promised content parity in court to get the deal done.

Apparently an art director who worked at fromSoftware on Demon souls and Dark Souls now works at S-Game and that's why it looks like a Souls even though it is much more fast paced like a Hack'n'slash.

I'm glad the demo is getting a positive reception. I've been looking forward to this game since it was first revealed.

Yeah Doom looked good and at 8:26 of the IGN interview he says you are going to see more of our games on other platforms so I guess it is just a matter of time until they announce more ports lol.
