Whether Microsoft acquired ABK or not, this disgusting waste of oxygen needs to go. I don’t even care that he’d get a massive severance as long as he’s removed from the industry.
I’m playing it on Series X now and it runs great for me. It was a bit janky at fort but once I realized it was favoring graphics over performance and I switched that, it’s run really well.
@Toypop I’m familiar with the name of Rick Dangerous but I’ve never played it. I couldn’t agree more though, games of this style takes time and patience. Flashback and Out of This World weren’t about skill, they were about learning and piecing things together without any handholding.
@Toypop I remember renting Flashback when I was a kid and I couldn’t get past the first area. I hated it and was so mad I wasted a rental on it. I went back to it a couple of years later because I got it in a box of used games from a garage sale, it quickly became one of my favorite games. These style games (and Battletoads) remain to be some of the toughest games I’ve ever played.
@GrandKaijuMaster20 I just did the same. This game was never on my radar but it looks fun and I figured it’s a dollar (or free in this case), why not? I’m not at all Into sports but it looks cheeky and fun, at the very least my son will enjoy it.
This was easily my favorite episode so far. The acting was incredible and I loved getting Bill and Frank’s backstory. I’m really enjoying the changes they’re making from the game, they are adding so much to the story.
This is my most anticipated movie! The first one was easily my favorite superhero movie, I’ll gladly take more of it. This trailer hyped me up so much.
@Baccaman I return it for a refund when it first dropped and decided to pick it up on Xbox for half off recently, it seemed to run much smoother than when I played it on PS5 at drop. It’s a ton of fun and worth the low price.
Currently, Elden Ring is my GotY, but if any game has a chance of taking that position it’s GoW. Though I doubt that’ll be the case since Elden Ring was one of my favorite games of the past decade if not one of my favorite games of all time.
@LIMA I have to disagree with you about the majority of people not into Souls games have never heard of this. I know plenty of people and read plenty of comments from people who aren’t into the genre that not only heard of it, but also loved it. On top of that, podcasters I listen to we’re saying people who don’t even play video games have been asking questions about Elden Ring. That doesn’t necessarily make it game of the year, but it certainly says something about the game and it’s impact.
This is my most anticipated game of the year, I haven’t even watched a single trailer about it because I want nothing spoiled for me. Needless to say, I’ll be doing all I can to avoid this.
@itsfoz as someone who thought this game looked ridiculous, awful and did nothing but bash it for its first year, I can say it’s truly a wonderful, unique experience. The only reason I decided to try it was because Chris Ray Gun was in the exact same boat as me, but he played it and adored it, so I grabbed it on sale and I have never been so happy to be wrong about a game. It’s well worth your time.
One of the best stories in gaming. I thought the combat would be something I’d hate, but I loved it. I don’t think there’s a thing about the game I’d have changed.
@Titntin you said it perfectly. I have no interest in supporting Activision/Blizzard or giving them any more of my money, but this isn’t how you take a stand. The people that were looking forward to this and the devs (that aren’t engrossed in the culture) who spent long hard hours are the ones being hurt, not the higher ups who are the ones who should be punished.
@NeThZOR I’m with you on that. I think the exploration is what would Really make or break this one for me. I could see something similar to Mage Knight, though I sadly don’t believe Steamforged has the chops for it.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (PS5) - Fantastic Sequel Is Bigger and Better in Every Way
@LiamCroft has the platforming gotten any better? I thought that was easily the weakest aspect of the original, especially sliding areas.
Re: Ghostwire: Tokyo Is 'Quantifiably' Better on PS5 Than Xbox Series X|S, Says Digital Foundry
I’m playing it on Series X now and it runs great for me. It was a bit janky at fort but once I realized it was favoring graphics over performance and I switched that, it’s run really well.
