never got a chance or motivation to go back at it since the snes. now's the chance

final 2 and 3 are the only games in the mainline i never played. you can bet i will get this one.

The problem is that i tried forbidden west AFTER elden ring.
horizon looks brainwhackingly good, but man... All those subquests, the fetching stuff, the ressource gathering for crafting, the busy map...i just cant do it anymore. at least not for a long while.

the only time i tried FF2 was emulated and not translated. so, i played 15 minutes then gave up.

i gotta give it to it, the idea is somehow original and it looks good.
But ill skip it. Thats 2 styles of games im not fond of, merged together. fighting and rhythm. not for me, but i see the interest here.

always wanted to redo the 4, 5 and 6, but it was not looking real well on android and i dont own any other version.

Im not all that convinced from what ive seen so far, but its still a final fantasy so who knows.
I really enjoyed FFXV in the state it is now, after all the patchwork it had post launch.
i mean, how could i not play a final fantasy. comon

i had a lot of fun with a magic user FPS with ghostwire tokyo.
this seems like the next step.

@pharos_haven well, unless i didnt get it for diablo 4, but usually battle passes are free and have a paid option for more loot and bonuses.
you still get stuff without paying anything. thats what i do with genshin and warzone.

i just see battle passes as bonus achievements

well, another case of ''you should have wait before buying''.
which i did this time.
i will let it mature a bit more, something tells me we will get another big update in 2023 for this one.

oh man. this is why i always say that you need to wait before buying a triple A game at launch. 6 months or a year later, they always get these big updates & lots of polish like this.
There is too much games and so little time to go back at a huge AAA a second time to try an update.

so, when can we pre-order ?

i tried remote play on my vita back in the days. it was lacking L2 - R2 buttons, killed the interest right away.
But a dedicated remote device made for it, then that would fix the problem and make me very interested.
My TV is always on demand, we have a large family.
Could be my Genshin impact hub for sure.
They just need to keep it simple without gimmicks to keep the device cheap.

As a good practice, no one should buy these big games day one and wait for patches and ease of life fixes.
So many games are so much better 6 months or a year after release. Plus you get a chance to have a price drop/deal, free dlc, or even a Complete Edition.

right now, i feel like its a console in sandwich between retro and modern.
ps2 is barely retro to me. or maybe... im denying my age.

I dont care much about VR in general. I got the first one with a crazy deal from a friend. Enjoyed it for sure.
The main problem is locomotion, and unless you got a setup like in ready player one, i dont see how it can replace standard gaming setups. Right now, it still feels like those carnival/arcade gimmick machines.

wow i never played or even heard of it ! i would try this for sure. reminds me those weird outlandish games like Tokyo jungle or Disaster Reports.

interesting update, but so far ray tracing seems like a feature that the PS5 can barely take. i mean, every game i tried with ray tracing either suffered of bad framerate and unstability or an uglier version of the game with amazing lights.
it still look very nice. But i always turn it off after checking it for a couple minutes. To me, raytracing cant beat a stable 60fps.

first one was pretty cool. the feel of removing the axe from a skull was satisfying.
the thing is, i dont plan to get the psvr2, and i am done with psvr1.
VR in general isnt appealing me anymore.

never played it yet ! looks like a perfect moment to wishlist it and hope for a bargain

What a waste of materials. This kind of product should always be produced based on preorders and not on market speculations. There should be more laws and restrictions about this, its horrible on environnement.

Im crossing my fingers for this one.
And i also consider waiting a good while before playing it. Too many big games like these get lots of patches and ease of life fixes in their first year of launch, making them a better and more rich experience.
FF15 at launch Vs ff15 1 year later is a great example. You can actually play with every characters which you couldn't at launch and its a game changer.

i had my first hd tv last year, its 32 inches from samsung...
and they already talk about 4k wait...84 inches tv ?!? thats a freaking wall!
more accessible 55-65 inches ?! cant even afford these sizes right now !
wow. hopefully i wont get the same feeling with the ps4 as it did to me with my ps3 on a cathodic screen. blurry, unreadable texts and crappy details.

actually, i might wait and not get he ps4 at launch just in case. i just cant afford a huge tv plus a ps4 at the same time.

last night, i saw a lion on discovery channel, eating a zebra ALIVE. Its was trying so bad to escape the lion,but it failed so many times... having its body mutilated and eaten chunk by chunk...

never played the budokai series, but been a great fan of tenkaishi games,especially the 2 and 3.
and i just got raging blast 1, and i must say im still impressed . the battle system is complex but very well made.

how does budokai 3 fighting system compare to tenkashi 2-3 or raging blast ?

keep one per console.
superbot should make a couple of games,2 or 3, before launching the all-star sequel.
and they really should patch and upgrade their game,adding new game modes. its essential,cause playstation all-star is as good as it is, but really lacks content. There is no deathmatch standard which is a shame. only focusing on power moves to kill or gain points gets old really fast.

20 dollars for a great game.... lemme think about it...

sony exclusives is what its all about. i liked every sony consoles for their huge game libraries and content. just keep it that way, that is the big force of sony.

it also give you tons of games to try years after the copnsole's launch. i have still ton of games to try on ps3, and yet still find gems.

should i pick used copies of the 2 and 3 instead and just forget the first ?

one the my favourite ps3 game so far,surprisingly.

pirate warrior 2 is super tempting, but i never read or watched anything beyond what the first pirate warrior did story-wise. heck, i had spoilers with the first one.
